I really need to know, cos I am trying to start the application soon. Please don't be offended if I spoke out of tone. Thanks https://www.nairaland.com/1792662/u.s-non-immigrant-visas-listening |

Afristrut: Good afternoon, justwise, frontpagelawyer and all, you guys are doing great here. Straight to the point, i intend to travel to u.k by december to visit some of my clients, will it be tourist or business visit? This client of mine is ready to give me a invite letter, provide accomodation.
1. what documents will accompany the invite letter he will be sending? 2. i am married(marriage cert available) with a daughter(birth cert. available) hoping to go along with my family, i will sponsor the trip, what documents do my wife and daughter need? 3. there is a building for me and my wife though ongoing but i have receipts to show that it belong to us, will receipts be accepted? 4. I have a building construction company(registered with cac, two registered account) operating for about 4 years, with inflow of over 50M and usually transfer money to my savings account and withdraw via the atm, i pay myself, how will i deal with the inconsistent money flowing in and out of my savings account? no fixed amount, sometime 100k,20k etc 5. can i use age declaration or i need a birth cert. for myself? 6. what is the minimum balance i need to have in my savings account?
thanks for the answers You need business visit visa. 1. You really need to read this thread because that has been answered too many times 2. She can include her own bank statement if she works if not then nothing is needed from her though you need to add family pictures 3. Adding those receipts will not harm your application 4. You need to submit both your business account and savings account and not forgetting tax certificate. 5. Not needed 6. That will depend on the cost of trip and your net monthly or yearly earning. Do the budget first that will help you determine how you need for the trip. |

ofurufu: I just hope. It will be disastrous if the application is rejected. The hotel and flight booking are non-refundable and my employers wont be happy I made them waste money.
Have you seen anyone get visa before without submitting bank statement? Honestly i haven't but your case a bit difference because your salary is good and you are not paying for the trip. |

segzy0: Thanks brother, that means in will book a hotel. Is 5 or 7 days trip okay? Because i dont want to spend too much of my income on the trip. My monthly salary is N200k after tax.
I should be having 1.2million as a closing balance on my bank statement.
What do you think sir?
Thanks Book for the duration of your stay, if you are going to stay for 7days but book for 5days where will you stay for the remaining 2days? |

ofurufu: justwise, your expert opinion needed You should have submitted your salary account and not just payslips. Though I don't expect them to see your company's bank statement if they are a multi-national company. Finger crossed they will consider the fact that you earn far above average annually. |

I was at charles de gaule Paris recently, with the play station 4, i can stay there on transit 24days or more I spent about 10hrs in that airport couple of years ago and could not forgive airfrance for not paying for my hotel accommodation for the duration, i did not enjoy the whole experience at all |

Does she need a transit visa as she does not have a uk visa? Thanks as i await ur response Please look for another ticket for your wife because 24hrs at any airport is far too long, though she doesn't need a transit visa but staying 24hrs is just inhuman |

segzy0: @Justwise I meant i will applying for a visa in January and my in-law is inviting me this time. Won't it look unrealistic because the last time i applied I stated that I didn't know anybody in UK
I hope you understand my point, brother?
Thanks as always Yea i got that now.. It will definitely look questionable if you now claimed to know somebody in the UK after stating previously that you got nobody there. |

segzy0: Thank you @Justwise, one more question brother, i was refused almost 2years ago becuase I didnt state places of visit. And I stated in my visa application that I didnt know anybody in UK
Now my in-law wants to invite me over on a 7day visit. Will that jeopardize my chance of getting a visa? Looking forward to reading from you. Thanks How did that happen? How did they get to know that you have somebody in the UK? |

hormolarry: Hmmmm, we didn't submit family pictures, it was after the submission that I came across this trends. but can they reapply? Of course you can if you got no time to wait for the AR. Reapply and add more relationship evidence..pictures(wedding pictures, child birth and other family gatherings) etc |

hormolarry: @Justwise, thanks for your prompt response, but how will I convince them with the review since I have already submitted the marriage and birth certs that shows our relationship? and how long will the Admin review take? thanks There is nothing much to explain than to state clearly that you have submitted all documents to proof that you are married with kids, that you don't know how else to convince the ECO that your marriage is genuine. A difference person (ECM) will look at your case and not the ECO. Did you submit family pictures? Its takes 28days but some get a reply sooner than that. |

Please house help me out, my tier4 visa application was granted but they refused that of my dependants(husband and kids) base on the fact that there is no geniune evidence of relationship between us of which we submitted our marriage certificate and birth certificates. please should we request for Admin review or apply for fresh application? @justwise, spikec, Olowob and other guru, please advice me o. thanks. Yes go for AR, if marriage certificate and kids birth certificate are not evidence of relationship then i don't know what else will be |
