Honestly, I don't. Only paid in 2007.
Will it be a matter?, Its a business name registration that I have.
As for my annual Income, Its over 3 million.
PLZ DO I NEED A TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE
Without tax clearance certificate it's difficult to evaluate your business. The 3million could be your capital or net profit...so tax certificate helps clarify that.

You can't use your capital for leisure trip hence the need to have personal account and business account so that money for a trip like this comes from your personal account while your business acts as your tie to Nigeria

Nope not at all, luckily I drive so don't take too long to get home, I will do all that it takes to get my hubby here, Only then I can relax, I have always worked some strange hours though, worked nights for about 9 years now kinda used to it.

I have to prepare to hand over now, so have a blessed day, and good on you for being such a lifeline for all on this forum, amazing things you do.

Stay blessed smiley

No worries.

Have a great day.

Haha, I'm that annoyed I joined the Labour party as a member, I'm very passionate about the peoples voice so if joining makes a difference then so be it grin

Where are you located, if you don't mind me asking smiley
South East at the moment, used to live in Portsmouth though for about a year, still visit mates there.

Indeed, I'm online researching all the time on immigration issues, I did vote Labour, unfortunately the Tories stayed in so no sign of the minimum requirements changing for the better anytime soon.

I hope my hubby can apply about September so we can make sure we have everything in order, our marriage is very genuine and very lucky i am to have such an amazing man to call my husband...Mr & Mrs B all the way no matter what challenges we face.

I have been reading through this forum for sometime before registering, I will surely return my knowledge to those in the same situation.

wink K
Same here, voted labour but..oh well..wanted to see a change but that is not going to happen any soon.

Hi, My name is Karen

I would like some advise with regards to the financial requirement evidence, apologies in advance for the length of this wink

I recently got made redundant from a position where I was employed from April 2006-September 2014 (8.5yrs) with a salary of £19300pa

I secured another job immediately to then start on 10th November 2014 and before starting I spent some time in Lagos with my then fiancé. This job was a lower salary of only £17800
Then in December 2014 my former company had an opening for another position with a salary of £18400 which I took, and I re-joined my former company (after getting redundancy pay grin hehe) and employment resumed on 5th January 2015 and I have managed to get my salary increased to £18826pa so finally I am meeting the minimum requirements wink

My question is I have also been doing overtime, does the 6 months’ payslips all have to be minimum of £1550 or can some be lower as long as the average meets the minimum, my gross pay for last few months are as follows: oldest first

1. 28th Jan 2015 £1416.10
2. 28th Feb 2015 £1533.33
3. 28th March 2015 £1431.75 ( Travelled to Lagos again In March which was when our wedding was)
4. 28th April 2015 £1493.33
5. 28th May 2015 £1763.97 (this includes new salary and overtime and incentives)

Forecast based on new salary:

6. 28th June 2015 £1568.88 minimum possible (overtime worked £320.00 to be paid in July)
7. 28th July 2015 £1888.88 minimum (inc overtime worked already in June)

So can I use payslips from February through to July which totals £9680.14 giving me an average over 6 months of £1613.36 per month, can i use this or will i need to wait for another 3 payslips? I have all other documents, photos pre and post wedding, transcripts of all communications, marriage cert and employment contracts and so forth, just this needed and the relevant bank statements and upto date letter from my employers.

Thank you for your assistance in advance smiley shocked cheesy
(currently on a 12.5 hr night shift which finishes at 1pm so i hope this makes sense tongue)
I really don't see you having problem with this, they are looking at your annual earning and not monthly. The fact is that you earn more than £18600 per annual and that is what matters.

Your explanation here is also very good as it gives a clearer picture of the situation, try and do the same in your application form.

You don't need to apologize, just that its nice when you keep asking the same question after an answer has been given.

Just printout the statement from the day you deposited the complete amount to the day it clocked 28days.

Good luck though.

Good Morning Justwise and other Experts in this forum.

Many thanks for your guide all along. Our applications was submitted yesterday. I got a call this morning inviting only me for interview at the V.I Office. I am a bit nervous as I do not know what to expect. Please, I need your help on likely questions they may ask and how to handle it. Also, what document to I have to take along.

Many thanks as I await your response.
That is actually a good thing, you will have the opportunity to clarify things if there is something missing in your application.

Their questions will central around the conference, your company and job, basically information you entered into the application form.

As long as you completed the form yourself you will be fine.

hi guys.. Good Morning .you guys are doing a great Job.

Please @ justwise kindly assist. i want to renew my visa and have not done this online process before. i need clarification on the part below.

The total amount of money you have for this trip?

The cost of aeroplane ,trains etc
The cost of accommodation
The cost of living expenses.

please i need clear explanation with example in Naira. i don't want to fill wrong figure.
You basically need to do a budget of your trip in £. For instance if you have 1M naira for the trip you need to break that money down into:

The cost of aeroplane ,trains etc
The cost of accommodation
The cost of living expenses.

Use http://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/ to convert your naira to £
