Na wa oh, I just pray Nigeria could function properly even half efficiently as Uk.

After my car (2009) got into accident as a result of at-fault driver, I was really stressed and worried about commuting, the following day the insurance brought me a 2022 made Kia as a courtesy car to use pending investigation, although i was told that I will given a courtesy car but the timing and the car type is far above my expectations, because it was delivered quickly.

Was driving on the motorway this morning just to see some few functionalities of the car, I put on the cruise mode and lane assist mode, the car was just driving me without controlling the steering even at corners/curves.

Really feel different.

I just hope this is not a temptation to go collect car for Arnold Clark like this, as most of my friends have been doing.😂🤣😂🤣

You really want that to be one-off expereince? lol

Not necessarily.

You can buy a written off car from the insurance company. So they could have taken her payout for the written off car and then bought the car itself (the insurance companies usually sell them via auction and you can trace a car if you want it) and had it fixed. They would be able to get it back on the road once fixed and recertified, though it’d permanently have the CAT N, S etc label.

That’s way more likely than any garage agreeing to collude to commit insurance fraud, especially a garage that works with insurance companies.

oh yes that means nothing, they do it more often than you can imagined, insurance fraud like this is nothing new. People from certain community do this a lot to reduce their tax liability

I tried to dig for more info, but that was all I could get.Based on my previous knowledge, the steps you enumerated above is the process I knowtoo, so I was very surprised to find out out that insurance could pay directly to you. I actually pasted the scenario to find out if anyone can confirm or corroborate it. She said lots of people she knows have gotten claim like that. Took over two months for investigation though.
I guess the person paid the garages off the record and got a receipt for higher amount for insurance company

Just 4 months ago you were here asking for help with your application and today you are claiming to be an immigration lawyer? And you want people to contact you?

Is not what you think the funds aren't enough. You know naira is low and has no value.
If the money is not enough then how do you plan to survive in the UK if given a visa? Do you actually know what many Nigerian students are going through in the UK because of lack of funding?

You are not aware that the money is not yours? That the only reason you are looking for bank statement to buy is to circumvent the immigration rule?

I am surprised you are referring someone to agent that run POF when you know it’s not acceptable on this forum. This makes me doubt your genuineness for being here. You even quickly gave out your email to assist a poor fellow earlier. I just hope you are not what I think you are. P.S. Nobody should come to this forum to discuss POF agent here. As far as we, in this forum, are concerned, there is no such thing as POF agent. Please be guided

Good day everyone , please my biometric is on tuesday, i need these answers before i go . Thanks

Cos of the attached pic, i do not k ow who the person is thou, but my agent said they are some new laws at the embassy now and because of that i should attached all the emails i got from the company,, our conversation like interview schedules and all that , i should submit them along , are these really necessary cause i dont want to now over do it ..
Please me respond. Thanks
They simply want to know if you bought the COS , if you got the job genuinely, i mean you applied for job, get interviewed either via zoom or phone then this is a simple case. supply them with those answers. But if you bought the COS then don't bother.

Flexible Tarrif .

I'm attaching a snapshot of my weekly average consumption maybe it could help.
I have flexible tarrif with them but my bill remains the same for months now.

Ohhh ok. Surprisingly I am yet to experience that kind of experience you described with OCTOPUS.

To the best of my knowledge they have a good tariff system (if not the cheapest I know)

. My electricity and Gas combined has never gone pass 80 pounds. And maximum of 40 pounds during the govt subsidy period.

6 of my friends that migrated from other popular providers have been able to cut their monthly cost by over 50%.

You may try to browse through their tarrif and migrate to the cheapest tarrif plan.

https://octopus.energy/tariffs/

I wish you well in all you do.

Cheers!!
Are you on fixed or flexible deal?

Exactly. Their faces and full name splashed on the news angry
The school has to stand their ground so as to protect their licence because a lot of international students coming to the UK used untouchable loan to get the visa. They came here with little or no money hoping to work to pay the remaining tuition fees.

They have done the university a massive favour by going to ITV, only those who are financially ready will be considering that university.

This is sad but totally wrong by the students IMHO. As a student you have mentioned to your school availability of funds to pay off your fees, got them to issue CAS and you also mentioned same to UKVI. You resumed, got the payment plan but yet failed to pay on time. I understand most times the issue is from Form A delays but at other times the students try to outsmart the school system by not paying on time from monies they make here in the youkay and also to get it cheap using Form A. Reporting the school would only make it tighter for other students coming after them.
They were ill-advised, very wrong move and i hope it doesn't backfire on them. You don't blame the school for taking such action.

you might also want to post question about the particular agency. Some might even genuine sell land/houses but might have terrible customer experience with regards to the journey from payment to ownership (exchange of keys/Docs). One can draw from others experience. Been on both sides of the divide and dealing with a terrible agency would always leave a sour taste in the mouth.
They are called Next Gear Home Limited

Hmmm Just wise

Be very careful is all I can say and try to employ the services of a 'street' land lawyer, not those ones with suit that sit all day in the office talking English

Quite a lot of land related scams these days from 'verified' companies

I have read far too many scaring stories on my Facebook page and most of them bought after doing verification as many suggested here

KolaShangOne:
There has been a history of "Real Estate companies" that do not have genuine documents. Some will collect money without allocating the lands.

First, check their history. You can google their names.

Before buying land, you also have to confirm that the estate has genuine document (Global C of O) for that land.

This you can do by going to Ministry of Lands.
Yes this is exactly why i'm doing my dd about this, though i have not committed any money yet

When buying a land from any of these agencies in Nigeria how do one verify that they are genuine? Apart from visiting their offices and viewing the land which other ways can one verify that these are not scammers?
