spokesJ: don't buy the Mugabe ZANU garbage Zimbabwe died way b4 sanctions ESAP and other fatal policies were applied by Mugabe....he inherited a full functional economy but destroyed it himself....check all the parastatals Dairy board, Zesa, NRZ,GMB.....list is long... yes these were all controlled by Mugabes cronies who looted them to bare bones....this was all b4 year 2000 ...google willogate scandal or GMB scandal..war vicitims compensation funds in zim...yes yo hero has appointed the same thieving cronies{by the way he is so corrupt himself his former personal banker is the same chap who presided over the world record inflation}...everyone close to Mugabe is rewarded and yes most of the farms were given to his loyals.... what has changed in Zimbabwe is the colour of the opresser....YES THIS IS NOT FROM CNN come down here in Bulawayo.....the chap(Mugabe) travels to far east for treatment he never uses derelict local hospitals(his policies again was responsible)....he killed the education system and his kids are in the far east and so are his cronies kids....like someone has told you come to Matabeleland and see if your Mugabe is regarded as such..lets stop glorifying evil deeds just because they have been done by a fellow African...if u get time try to find out how he got into power ZANU leadership... u will cringe by the way the ZANU chaps have changed history to suit them...yes right now a Mugabe crony in charge of their partisan mouth piece ZBC(national braodacasting corp) was earning a staggering $40,000 per month yet the rest of the employees have gone for 6 months without pay http://www.newzimbabwe.com/news-13433-Muchechetere+earned+US$27,000+at+ZBC/news.aspx ...he can do all this with Mugabe's blessing
You got a good knowledge of Zimbabwe and everything you said here is just raw truth, i went to Zimbabwe before 2000 and was there when the whole economy crumbled and Mugabe single handedly master minded that, it got nothing to do with sanction, his land policy was a good one but carried-out horribly, white farmers holds Zimbabwe economy, they contribute and employ Zimbabweans far more than any other sector.

Mugabe used his thugs called the green boys and the war vets to kill and drive out white farmers and give those farms to his party members. These white farmers are Zimbabwean citizens, many born and grew up in Zimbabwe, is like Nigerians born in US or the UK, they run schools and hospitals within those farms, there are supper markets within those farms. After 1980 Mugabe allowed the integration and white farmers produce what Zimbabweans and indeed other countries eat, Zimbabwe is called basket food of Africa then.
They need no visa to visit the UK, they got the best education in Africa and very educated bunch of people.
Problem started the moment an opposition party called the MDC was formed and big majority of its members are white farmers and they got money and outside influence. Mugabe never wanted a challenge as he saw himself as Zimbabwe liberator, a war hero and Mandela of Zimbabwe.

Immediately he brought a new law removing dual citizenship, this means that white farmers have to chose whether to become Zimbabweans only or the UK, US, South African etc, to do that they have to denounce their citizenship of other countries and pledge allegiance to Zimbabwe.

Now this is the sticking point, election was approaching and to vote you need to be a Zimbabwean, meaning that those MDC members who are yet to pledge allegiance to Zimbabwe can not vote and the process of getting the form was made so difficult that very very few white farmers were able to complete the process before the election.

Mugabe destroyed Zimbabwe, he got rid of opponents by all means, by 2003 Zimbabwe was gone, i lived and studied in Zimbabwe for 4 bloody yrs and i'm not making things up here, i could write pages on Zimbabwe, there is no freedom of speech in Zimbabwe, the opposition can't use the national television for any of their program, no opposing newspaper apart from the govt mouth piece.

The currency was so useless they have to adopt US dollar as their currency.

Don't mind people supporting Mugabe here, non of them will live in Zimbabwe.

jennykadry: I am not talking about visa free travel...my question is about VISA ON ARRIVAL
I got this on their website:

As an Australian citizen, can I apply for a Chinese visa at the port of entry?

Answer: You are strongly suggested to apply for the visa in advance from a Chinese Embassy or Consulate General. For those who decide to apply for visas at the port of entry, they should hold the resposibility by themselves for possible refusal of entry.

leeon2011: My wife today call court they say still judge decision not made
and is b n today is 16 day finish
Am worrying so much now cry
I think you are including weekends in that count, you need to be patient, when you receive the letter(probably next week) depending on the outcome you will still have to wait for about 3weeks or so as the tribunal judge will give you or the HomeOffice about 15 days to challenge the outcome, its only after that that the visa will be issued if you won and HomeOffice decided not to challenge it.

You are getting there just don't eat yourself up while you wait.

StrangeMan619: Uncle Tze-Tzefly and everyone, I hail ooo! How una dey? I like the good work that you people are doing here. Sometime ago. I came here asking for your advice on how my Oyibo friend I met online can help me travel to the US. You adviced me to either leave her out of my application or invite her to Nigeria and spend quality time with her so that the CO will take an invitaion from her serious.
After u adviced me, I told her everything. That her brothers here may not give me visa with her invitation if there's no physical relationship between us. She told me she's coming to visit me and spend 2 weeks here.
My people I need advice on what to do when she comes. She's talking about us having a kind of traditional marrige here before she goes back. And then do court wedding in Florida where she lives. What do u advise me to do? What documents or actions is neccesary to convince the CO to issue me visa after she leaves? Please advice. Thank you!
What is the age difference between you too?

nickson03: I would like to update the good people about my wife uk refusal. My wife had been to uk to visit me and my son who are both british. When my wife apply for her first uk visa she brought a letter from her uni delta state university and the visa was issue to her and we stated on the application she will be staying for 4weeks but she later stayed for 5month beco they had long holiday after completing her industry trainning program.however when we apply for a renewal she was refuse the ECO stated that she stayed for 5months instead of 4weeks stated on aplication and she did not summit letter from her uni in support. The reason why we did not bring A letter from her uni is beco she had already summit a letter from her uni in the first application. However, i reaply for the second time addressing those issue. I stated clearly to address the reason why she stay up to 5months and i also told the ECO that it does not matter how long my wife stay for but matter is that she did not overstay her visit by 1 or 28 day period and there was no restriction to the 4weeks but the visa clearly state she can stay for 185 days on her visit and this time we brought a letter from the university to support she is a student but the ECO refuse my wife again stating they were try to verify the letter from her uni they were unable so on the balance of probability they are not satify of her currently circustance in nigeria. I got very hungry knowing that my wife satify all the paragraphy 41 and section (1) of uk immigration rule. Decide to send an email to the british embasy in abuja i told the ECO that she/he should know that there is a national strike in unversity in nig and she should know this even the unborn baby know there is a strike in nig then would they clay that they were try to verify the letter. I tolk the case to court, i called the court yesterday and i was told that the court has sent a letter to british embassy in abuja give they from now to 24 feb 2014 for they to review the decision and issue the visa otherwise they will have to come to court to answer court qaurell becos the reason for the reason refuse is nosses or stupid reason. I whats to say is that i can understand i those unqaulify people should be working in in british embasy called themselve ECO to handle people visa aplication and refuse people visa for stupid reason. I will advice anyone who feel they have been deniel unfairly to take the british embassy to court in uk not in nigeria. I will update the house again they have issue the visa or they choose to go to court with me to answer quarel.
Which court in the UK did you take the embassy to?

drtade: Pls is it important to submit documents on previous refusals (visa refusals) to Uk or any other country as part of supporting documents for tier4
No, you don't need to submit those, just acknowledge that you have been refused visa to the UK when asked in the form, lying about it or withholding such info will be a grave mistake.

Can you please confirm from the VO if she has been barred from responding on this thread (as she said in her OP)?

If yes, please close this thread and save people the effort of asking questions to which answers will never come.
Unfortunately she is not replying her emails any more, sent couple of emails but yet to get a reply.

Because of the title of this thread, allowing other people to reply to questions here will send a wrong impression and its misleading.

I will lock this thread today and if the VO comes back it will be unlocked.

Thank you.
