debedebe: am @ my late 30s am working wit an Energy and power company married wit 2 kids
My brother nothing will come out of this, you can't move to America successfully through this route, even if by miracle you managed to get a visa, you can't work or study in America legally with visiting visa.

Are you going to leave your wife and kids and move in with this woman?

SELFWORTH: Obama's wife was more successful than Obama himself before he became President . Besides, they didn't marry yesterday....

As for the rest, those are in the minority . please google it and do your own research and see for yourself.
Why are you not complaining that Janet Jackson got married to a very rich Arab man and Naomi Campbell dating a very rich white man?

SELFWORTH: Why most successful black men abroad always marry white women?

Successful white men marry from their own race but all the successful black men marry white, Spanish or any other race apart from their own race.

This always baffles me.
Obama married white lady? jay z or Beyonce married white? Okocha or Kanu married white?

I don't want to sound negative but at the same time i don't want to give you false hope. What is the age difference between both of you? Do you have a good job in Nigeria and can afford the trip?

debedebe: hello frnds i need ur help urgently,i av known this 58 yrs old American woman for 13yrs now on Ymessanger we've been chatting dat way far,we r so closed dat we disscuss many family issues 2gether,she knows my family, also i know hers, now i told him all am going thru here in 9ja... She wanted 2 help but doesnt know d way 2 go abt it,i told her dat she shld send an invitation 2 me she ask how will she write d invitation, also asking where i will stay if i come over,at time she asked hope d govt will not know all abt her(intruders)... Pls advice me how am i going 2 go abt it...wot shld i do 2 convinced her...and other ways 2 go abt it... Urgent.... Not she is just an average american not dat rich.... Thanks
Its obvious that you are forcing this on her, don't waste your money applying for visa because even with an invitation letter your chances of getting a visa is almost zero.

It depends, can the person afford it? Financially capable? Got adequate accommodation for you?

SwitchTel: any police station right?
you have the embassy's email addy?
Police station of the city where you live.

Visit British embassy website for their email address. If you are sending them email quote the visa reference number, your passport number and the Ref number you were given when you applied for the visa.

tamica8: Exactly, I'm a student and the plan was to travel for d holiday..12 days which is no longer possible because my sch resumed..Is it okay for me to tell the ECO that the plans have changed to travel during Easter break due to school back on sessionhuh

That will be a reasonable thing to say, it will also show that you are not desperate to leave Nigeria.
Why wont they be nice after getting your visa grin
If you're bounced i'm sure u will join the campaign ! wink!!

Naaah I've been to france and the uk and I can tell u france is waay better, neater, safer n more beautiful that the uk, a black man and a white man have equal rights in france!! ..even if you go to the institut francais in nigeria! They are all so nice n warm!! The first time I applied for a french visa(my passport was still a virgin) the visa officer was mean at first I thought she was wicked but then a white italian man came and she was mean to him too, that was when I knew she was just being professional.. My visa was stamped!! Imagine ur passport being disvirgined with a french visa without any stupid agent! And my dad isn't so rich, he is just average so you can't even say its because of the bank statements,, just be yourself and be sincere!! N u will get ur visa. The same Visa officer that was so mean suddenly became nice when I went to collect my passport. Goodluck
Its obvious that you are making this story up as you write, you know little or nothing about what you are talking about.

tamica8: Thank you so much @justwise..One more thing..The travel date on the application has passed..Dunno why it took so long..The sponsor in UK received a call from them about 11days ago and i was contacted yesterday.. Hope this doesn't affect anything?? Look forward to ur response Master Justwise smiley
It depends on the purpose of your travel and your condition in Nigeria, if you have applied on time and they delayed it then you don't have to worry about the date, you may still be given a visa for future use.

jenni1108: thanks so much Mr Justwise

I have an online lyca talk account and lyca mobile and these shows how often I top up and call his number. Also have an online mobile account showing the texts I send

Also kept all our email exchanges and whats app conversations.
I don't have that many pictures thou, will that be a problem. I really don't like taking pictures and I never really gave it a second thought until now.
Those are important materials that will support ur application. Include as much pic as you can.

jenni1108: I am a british citizen and I am currently working, I do meet the financial requirements but have only been in my current role since October, before that I was in my previous role from March last year and that role also met the financial requirement. Although not a complete 12 month period if both jobs cover the minimum requirement spread over 12 months will this be ok?

I have a child from a previous relationship who is a British citizen and have read that they will not take this child into consideration when making their calculation. However I mention the child as I currently Live in a 1 bedroom apartment and wonder if this will classified as overcrowding.

any help or advice is most welcome - thanks in advance
You will be fine in terms of financial requirement but you need to provide other documents to prove that your marriage is genuine.
This a fat lie!!! French people are not racists one bit!!! They are just doing their job!! As a matter of fact I just got my student visa this afternoon! All the french people I've come across are very nice and blacks are very well appreciated n accepted in france .. And france is a better country than even the UK!
