pauli coco: Nigerians, wake up ...people are being exploited and are dying in silence. If u do not have the means to renew your visas or get a permanent stay or the citizenship....forget about coming here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/tv/bbc_one_london/watchlive

oshiokeh: thanks so much.....wat advice do u have for me nw plz
Reapply when you have enough money for the trip.
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by justwise(mod): 7:56pm On Jan 21, 2013
oshiokeh: @justwise this was the decision that made on the refusal letter. Youuu have sought entry as a visitor for fourteen days to visit ur fiance. You have described urself as a technician employed by ............nig plc since 2008 and have decleared ur income as N34,936, £139. In support of ur application u have submitted a Diamond bank statement,, this statement shows a closing balance of N118,850 , £475, i am aware that a reture ticket to the uk costs £600. The clossing balance of ur account indicates that u have insufficient fumds to pay for ur trip to the uk. This has undermined ur application and i am not satisfied that ur financial circumstances in nigeria are as claimed. I am therefore not satisfied, on the balance of probabilities, that yuo are a genuine visitor who intends to leave the uk as required by paragraph 41(i) and (ii) of HC 395 nor am i satisfied that u will be maintained and accomodated in the uk without working or having recourse to public funds as required by paragraph 41(vi) of HC 395 i have therefore refuses ur application because i am not satisfied, on the balance of probabilities, that u meet all of the requirement of the relevant paragraph of the uk immigration rules yuor right of appeal is limited to the grounds referred to in section 84(1) of the nationality immigration and asylum act 2002.
This is more detailed than what you wrote before, the reason for the refusal is clear, you don't have enough money for the trip, the money you have is not even enough for flight ticket let a lone any other expenses in the UK.

nero xp: Justwise I fully understand ur area of concentration regardin dis exchange of contacts nd odas.but sumtyms we nid contacts in order 2 ask sum questions dat might sound silly wen posted here.I dnt knw any wia in lag nd I wil nid sum contacts jst to get directions on hw to board a bus wen goin for police clearance nd medicals,nd also de junctions to stop nd also enta buses goin 2 places am goin. remember our frendship doesn't end in dis forum,we wuld need each odas contacts to keep in touch, stuffs like dat...pls Justwise reconsider abeg.
You just did that now, so why do you need contact to ask such question? Many have asked such question many times before and get an answer, the advantage of asking questions openly is that you will get answers from more than one person AND if anybody gives a misleading answer others will point that out.
Travel › Re: DV 2013 Winners Meet Here by justwise(mod): 4:26pm On Jan 21, 2013
Allybert: @ Justwise, I understand. But sometimes personal interview questions, especially that which have to do with couples intimacy, can not be discussed in an open forum like this. Contacts have been exchanged several times in this thread in the past and yet it got to over 400 pages. Exchange of email addresses will not deter the growth of this particular thread nor that of the entire NairaLand Forum...... Actually I am not tryin to push it but only trying to let you know what I think about exchange of email addresses and the growth of this thread.....
I don't think that there is any lottery related question that can not be discussed here, intimacy related or not, the system will censor any rude/inappropriate word, yes you are probably right that contacts have been exchanged here previous and that is purely because i did not see it.

Why do we need to drop or ask for contact details here even when nairaland has private messaging system?
Travel › Re: DV 2013 Winners Meet Here by justwise(mod): 3:52pm On Jan 21, 2013
Allybert: @Imcool, how have you been? Please drop your email address here for me sometimes. I need to ask you some real personal questions about your interview. My case similar is to yours and I and my wife have been scheduled for interview in Feb.
Questions about interview can be asked openly here for others in need to benefit as well, there is no need going offline with it, this thread will not get to 400 plus pages if everybody do what you are about to do.

oshiokeh: plz justwise sir and evrybody in the house.... I need an advice on my issue . Have just been refused uk visa the and the statement state that.

I hv therefore refused ur application because insufficient balance i am not satisfied, on the balance of probabilities, that u meet all of the requirements of relevant paragraph of the uk immigration rules.
Your right of appeal is limited to the grounds referred to in section 84(1)(c) of the nationality, immigration and asylum act 2002
That is not full immigration refusal statement, the ECO must have outlined out reason(s) before that. Do you mind stating the full statement?

ogakpatakpata: Ok. thanks. l only wanted to exchange email address with him and nothing more, that was why l requested for a chat with him
We always encourage people to discuses/share info openly here so that others will benefit, forum shouldn't be used as email or phone number depot.
Travel › Re: Why Are So Many Nigerians Abroad Not Sincere? by justwise(mod): 2:43pm On Jan 21, 2013
@ogakpatakpata

For the seek of transparency lets keep the advice/help open here. private chat will not help the idea of a forum like this.

I don't see anything that can not be discussed openly here, i thought that was the whole idea of starting the thread?

jydebiz: Dear nairalanders, lets keep the good work we can all make donations to save Rose's life if we can get across to her. I also know there may be some NGOs in Nigeria that may be of help. Alternatively, this situation is more spiritual than physical in my own opinion she may visit the Redemption camp somewhere in Nigeria, there is a stand that handles such emergency there and she will be back again on her feet through the wonderful healing power of the Almighty God, there has been such cases that I heard of like this that was brought down from the US and the woman was completely made whole, please let her try.
When i read post like this i struggle to get my head around it, people die in Nigeria on daily bases from all sorts of diseases still these churches that performs miraculous healings are everywhere, why are they not getting healed?

The lady should be taken down to Nigeria for prayers? Why not pray for her from Nigeria since God is everywhere?

ridgeman: She needs to get a proper immigration lawyer!!!

UK does not allow people who have medical conditions to return to an early grave in their home country. She needs to get a good immigration lawyer

Several years ago they tried it with a lady from Ghana who unfortunately died on return to Ghana, the political fallout was huge.

Good luck
There was no political fallout, people protested and all that but the deportation still went ahead.

The UK do deport people with medical problem in some cases, there is no point wasting money in immigration lawyer while the case drags on, if she has the money to pay a lawyer then she should use that money to get treated.

I really hope that the UK Govt allows her to stay at least to recover fully.

Chris407: Hi everyone! I am an undergraduate of 17years I graduated from high school last year so got my admission letter and i20 after av applied to a school. Scheduled a date for visa interview and attended.on that morning I went to the embassy alone after going through every neccessary thing that was meant to be done including the security check and all that I was in the interview room. When it got to my turn I met a lady there who is not really that young and she asked for my passport and i20 I gave it to her and she said to me u are 17years and I said yes. She den asked did u come with anyone I tld her no she den tld me to come back with either my Mum or Dad cus I tld her dey were out of the country for business purpose and she gave me this blog paper thing which I could use to enter the embassy at anytime within six months. I explained to my dad nd he made arrangement and he came back so as toattend the interview. We got to the embassy around 10 O'clock in the morning and we had our interview aroun 12. Getting to the counter where I was meant to be interviewd I met another lady there who was young. She tld us to come back with mt Mum I was already frustrated so I tld her the Vo I met there the last time said I shld come with either my mum or dad and moreover my mum isn't around and before she gets back I guess my school woulld have resumed she den sed we shld hold on for a while, she went somewhere and den came back to proceed with the interview. She asked me question about my school and asked for my SAT result and all that I answered and she also asked my Dad some question I gues about his occupation because dey spke in portuguese cus ma Dad doesn't speak English to well and she asked for his statement and he gave it out but the statement my dad presented was from another country. Where he does some of his business transactions but some were in dolllars. Infact just 2 move out of d country dis yr...so ur advise
I do understand what you are saying but the solution is not travelling abroad with visiting visa, that is like somebody who is struggling to pay house rent in Ajegunle that thinks that moving to VI is the solution.

If you can afford the cost of visiting visa application and flight ticket to US then use that money to look after your family.

I dislike ignorant people.

This is a forum. I asked a legitimate question and so far aIl i have got are ignorant people looking for someone to bully . No one has been able to come up with any credible response.

Over and out!
Oh! so now i'm ignorant? Really? What a complete waste of space you are. Just get lost.
