CareerWhere To Get Funding To Attend An Health Related International Conference.. by Juwohn(op): 1:56pm On Apr 18, 2016
Hi Everyone,

Early this year, I was accepted for presentations (both oral and poster) at a number of conferences in France, Austria and UK which are scheduled to hold between July and October.

Research Topic is health related and South Africa based...sum of the papers are also sub-Saharan African based...

I'd appreciate information on where to apply to get funding to attend these conferences..
Kind Assistance will be well appreciated...

Why don't you like UKZN? If your proposal is not strong enough UKZN won't accept u .Work on your proposal and apply to 3 schools! Above all you have not been to UKZN already u dislike the school!
Lol...Maybe he's going by University ranking Sir

Thanks, but I don't really like UKZN.

I'll try WITS and UCT instead.
May be yu try WITS but it's a standard structure for some courses that students must undergo a compulsory 1year honors program. You may experience a similar occurrence in WITS too or even rejected...

You may however try UJ...But I'm doing honours too n no regrets..

Doing a year Honors opens you to a number of opportunities including funding, experience n more

I begin to wonder if this is the outcome of the whole xenophobia thing...some bit of PR and reconciliation. We should actually begin a timeline of submission and issuance of visa on this thread. Has anyone else had a similar experience with short term visas?
lol....Patiently waiting to see if Study Permit too wil take 5days
