my dear those two passage show that the angels and saints in heaven offer our prayers to God (intercession) and rev 5:8 tell me that the prayer of the saints offered by the elders was offered to the lamb, so my friend the prayer still went throught christ.

Because of the angel's address to Mary as "most blessed" when announcing Jesus' upcoming birth, We Catholics regards her as the highest saint, and thus ask her to intercede most often. We do not pray to her as if she were a goddess but rather request her intercessesion to God and presence in our times of need.

Verse 11 speaks of those around the throne of God and verse 12 says that they were saying "Worthy is the Lamb..." Verse 13 mentions every created thing in heaven and earth saying, "To Him who sits on the throne, and to the lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever."
I have no problem with those in heaven hearing what is said on earth.Many Christians deny that this is possible, but it seems to be clearly taught here.
Regarding verse 8, can the prayers be authored by those who are already in heaven? It doesn't say. There are different interpretations on exactly who the saints are because their identity can't be precisely demonstrated; after all, Revelation is a highly symbolic book. Therefore, if it cannot be demonstrated conclusively who they are, then it cannot be demonstrated conclusively whose prayers they are, either. Nevertheless, verse 9 says "they sang a new song." Who is the "they"? It would have to be either the the four living creatures and/or the 24 elders since "prayers of the saints" don't sing, "creatures" and "elders" do the singing.
In verse 11-12 the angels, the creatures, and the elders who were all around the throne (which means they are in heaven) were praising God directly. In verse 13 it says every created thing in heaven and earth was praising God, then the elders fell down and worshiped, v. 14.
...Just because those in heaven can hear the prayers of those on Earth does not mean that is okay to pray to saints. If they can hear the prayers of people it is because God grants that to them. Think about it. Can those in heaven hear the prayers uttered without speech? Can they read minds? It is only God who knows all things and only God can grant anyone to hear or know what the prayers are of those who pray in silence. Let's not give the saints superhuman powers similar to omniscience. Nevertheless, all the text is saying is that they can hear the praise and worship of God. It does not say that they are to receive prayers, nor does it imply praying to them is permitted. All it says is that they can hear the prayers and praise.

It the prayer of st francis 'lord make me an instrument of your peace where there is hatred let me sow love, where there is doubt faith, where the is darknes light, where despair hope, where there is injury pardon, o divine master grant that i may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love, for it is in giving that we recieve, in pardoning that we are pardoned and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. How do you explain those verses,it's obvious that the savior was born,the fact that He hasn't fulfilled the requirement to be called a savior is not enough reason not to call him a savior.
It had been prophesied long before that time,so It was clear that He was going to be the savior,that's my explanation for mary calling Him savior.

Mary didnt do anything to merit that plentitude of grace but God gave her that plentitude of grace because she would become the mother of christ. Do we agree on this?

Joagbaje: Theres no record in the bible that it's a sin. I find it unfit to labell something a sin that God didn't labell a sin. I know for sure it's a bad habit. Among other habits such as drinking smoking and doing drugs etc. I believe also that addiction to it is demonic just as addiction to alcohol and drugs are demonic. If I shouldn't label a smoker a sinner or a man who takes alcohol a sinner . I shouldn't label this one a sinner too. There are severel bad habit that people suffer from. I have ministered to people to be free from such . Such as eating sand ,eating soap, mastubation ,drugs alcoholism. But it is not the habit that constitute sin. It's between them and their body.

For those who label it as sin , I always like to ask . What if one does it on medical ground . Especially the fuid test. Have such people sinned? The answer I get is a clear "NO" so if it's not a sin when you do it for medical reason . Does God have double standard? Just like those who say that to take alcohol is sin. When you confront them of the passage where Paul told timothy to take little wine because of his stomach trouble (1tim 5:23 ) they reply "well ,it's for medicinal use" if paul made Timothy to take drink for medicinal use. And it doesn't constitute a Sin . Then a man that takes it for pleasure also has not sinned . God doesn't have double standard. I don't drink and I don't encourage mastubation. I don't see them as decent habit . But I won't bring condemnation of sin on someone if God didn't label it so thanks.
