I'll give him credit for growing his following. However he really needs to stop manufacturing stories, the same thing he was doing here.

I also noticed when people call him out for his false statements they are usually quickly blocked.

I heard someone in the video saying AIT are there. It is to verify from AIT on YouTube.

grin grin grin grin

He has got his twitter followers hooked on some tales by moonlight. Even defence headquarters has noticed him.

I see him claiming Nigerian Air Force JF-17 flew today. No other international source can verify this claim.

I think there is a lot of good content coming out from Nigeria. There is no need for people like SSBN to manufacture stories.

LNG is gas,,,not oil
I'm talking about the energy industry in general, the potential effects of the Train 7 project, as a comparison for scale of losses if things continue to nose dive with the price of crude.

Let's
So my take home from this interview is that when crude oil was selling at $65 per barrel before Covid-19 came, Nigerians didn't feel the effect. Rather it is a selected few that keeps looting the money. Now that crude oil is selling at $11 or $12 per barrel, we still do not feel the impact. The only problem of the average Nigerian is the fact that he/she has been deprived the freedom to go out to look for daily bread.

At the end, I believe we shall overcome.
Let me say something here, Nigerians need to be very, very, very worried that oil price is selling between $11 and $12 per barrel.

Before I left Nigeria, I worked in the Oil & Gas services sector. A drastic drop in crude oil price would exert a lot of pressure on ordinary Nigerians, let's not kid ourselves.

The highest salary earners as a group work in Nigeria's crude oil sector. When that group get paid at the end of the month, they spend on average higher than any other group of workers in Nigeria. Where do they spend that money?

Then you have oil services providers in Nigeria, they are in their thousands. If you look at Nipex for example, the number of oil servicing companies on that platform are more than 40,000.

NLNG Train 7, I read more than 3,000 vendors were verified.

If Crude continues to sell below $15, Companies would retrench workers, thousands of them.

If workers lose their jobs, they can no longer spend, they can no longer afford to pay rent, who suffers at the end of the day?

Low oil price is very bad for Nigerian citizens, as well as the government.

For dedicated AT role max range is 1000m. HEAP rounds, High Explosive Anti Personnel could probably get to 5000m but with much degraded accuracy good only for area effect
The Nigerian army armoured corp commander knows better.

It's best you direct any of your clarifications to him.

Don't mind him, he doesn't know what he is saying....that gun will struggle with 1500m to get an accurate shot, most especially with the old school fire control system
Next time, first ask my for my source.

I was thinking all the BTR's were not servicable, not been seeing them in the front lines.
Most of them are. Besides we bought only 10 units.

The main problem is their main 30mm cannons no longer work.

The term combat proven is very fluid in the extreme without a comparison unit of measurement, so in the context of the JF-17 what do you mean by combat proven.

For instance, we can say unequivocally that the F22, 35 , Typhoon, and many more are battle tested and therefore battle proven in multiple theaters and operations across the world in many challenging situations also over many years.

So what makes JF-17 a Mig 21 Hybrid as many have argued to have become "combat proven"

I am speaking with undeniable bias, if Pakistan was a car manufacturer I would not be taken away or inspired by the Manufacturers sales pitch. And i would rather have a 3/4 year old proven, tested and confirmed quality vehicle from Germany or Japan than a brand new one from Pakistan no matter how cheap.

As people say , you get what pay for , the Chinese/ Pakistan JF-17 is cheap for a reason, as we say in Warri "Cheap article deh spoil belle"

We have not learned our lesson the old and even second hand acquired Alpha jets have proven as many also argue to be much more resilient and reliable than the F-7 (Mig 21) we bought from China for $250 million.
The JF-17 is not a MIG-21 hybrid. Shape, aerodynamic design, power pack and avionics are different.

The JF-17 has a confirmed Air-to-Air Kill, the JF-17 was part of a strike package that bombed India in operation swift resort. The JF-17 carried out numerous CAP missions after operation swift resort. The JF-17 has carried out multiple CAS and bombing missions against the Pakistani Taliban and other terrorist groups in Pakistan.

On the origin of the JF-17, it is a joint project between Pakistan and the CATIC group in China. China owns all the IP certificates, and is in fact the OEM of the JF-17.

On the back of the Chinese aviation industry, the JF-17 which shares a lot of components from the J-10 has considerable support. It is not a Pakistani built plane.

The F-7 was a stop gap plane, it was never intended to replace the MIG-21. The JF-17 fulfils NAF capability for a modern light multi-role combat aircraft.

The JF-17 can be equipped with Aselpod advanced targeting pod, providing NAF with high performance electro-optical reconnaissance, surveillance and targeting system.

The JF-17 can also be equipped with Indra ECM pod.

Pl-15 advanced BVRAAM missiles and High Precision air to ground bombs, dumb bombs & similar JDAM bombs.

That should have been the case but looking at a unit cost as compared to that of Ghana shows that ours is expensive. At the same time @rka2' explanation is understandable. Ehm... Ehm... Ehm, clears throat and in a low voice, but you ma know say man must chop grin
But this na . I no see how choppings wan enter inside.

Anyway we deserve a good modern military.

If true that Ghana bought 9 for 88million dollars then 12 should translate to 117.3 million dollars. There is something about this Tucano deal that's fishy, more so the delivery date.
Yes, I agree the Nigeria deal is high, but what about the ammunition Nigeria is getting? I think it all plays a part in the cost.

Quick FYI, why is Nigeria paying $600m for 12 A - 29. Ghana is buying 9 A-29 for $88m, do the calculation.
Nigeria did not pay $600m for 12 A-29.

Nigeria purchased 12 super tucano for 329 million dollars, 496 million dollars when you add infrastructure, training of 100 personnel, ammunition and ISR capabilities.
