That's just one instance, information technology development is larger in Nigeria than in any other country in sub-saharan Africa.

Generally, Nigeria is more technologically advanced than any country in Africa.

There might be areas where Nigeria is behind other countries in Africa. However in terms of size of the industry, scope and penetration Nigeria is ahead in Africa.

Some of the civillian fallouts of SDB3 is the shipbuilding of Trawlers and yachts/pleasure boats. This is what happens when Governments invest in developing specific industries. One day these engineers will be building ocean going civillian ships, once the shipbuilding know-how is solidly entrenched.
