jln115: He did not ask when a helicopter would be built in Nigeria....... Go back and read the discussion again.
I know for a fact Nigeria is still very very far of from producing any commercial helicopter let alone an attack helicopter. But that was not the question that was asked. The discussion trail is from your response to Nigeria building a tank, not helicopter. |

jln115: What might be stupid to you, might not be stupid to others.
Like when I asked questions on Mechanical engineering to my sister who has an honours degree in that field it might seem stupid to her but for the majority of us who know nothing about the subject it's not stupid.
Same thing when she asks me for, business, accounting or Investment advice. Bros it is not the same thing. That dude has been posting here for years like you claim. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by kabe1: 1:07pm On Dec 13, 2019 |
jln115: I wasn't talking about the helicopter....... Go back and read! Bros, the helicopter question middlemission asked you was a very dumb question. I don't know what cage armour is. I don't know what a Gopro camera is. I don't know what Supacat vehicle is and his it us used. I asked, they are not widely used in Nigeria. Somebody asking you when a helicopter would be built in Nigeria, a question nobody in Nigeria has an answer to is dumb. To even see that he has been following this thread for years, makes it all the more worse. He has simply learnt nothing. It is like asking a Nigerian when would a submarine be built in South-Africa. It's a dumb question, and that's the fact. |

jln115: There are no stupid questions @MiddleDimension and @kabe1
Other wise by definition these below are stupid questions as well:
Thinks LST and LPD are the same:
Doesn't know what caged armour is..... Thinks its a net:
Doesn't know what a helmet mount is or what it's used for.... P. S it not for mounting goPros
Doesn't know what a recce vehicle is:
So I suggest before insulting someone asking a relevant question just remember you also don't know everything. These are general questions and not country specific. Asking a foreigner when a helicopter would be built in your home country is a dumb question. Whether you like it or not. |

After the Air Force is done bombing boko-haram with Alpha Jet, L-39za, MI-35p and ISR.
Army should be one side shooting self propelled 105mn artillery with a range of 19.5km at the insurgents.
10 of these made in Nigeria artillery should do the job.
Then withdraw quickly.

#HappeningNow: The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, welcomes gallant Nigerian Air Force (NAF) pilots of the Air Task Force (ATF), Operation LAFIYA DOLE, Maiduguri as they return from a pre-dusk mission today, 12 December 2019, after inflicting further damages on terrorists in the ongoing Operation RATTLE SNAKE. The CAS, while congratulating the ATF for the successes so far recorded in the operation and commending the pilots for their dedication and courage, urged them to sustain the tempo of operations in order to completely destroy designated terrorists’ operational/logistics bases and further deny them freedom of action.

Toju200: i dunno I'm not the one dat said it.. They said it in 2016 during the ARA project.. According to what they said they where working on a prototype tank.. While in 2018 Dec on their Instagram account they said in collaboration with the Nigeria air Force they are going to start production of attack helicopter and drones .. They are an armoured vehicle manufacturer, how would they build attack helicopters? They don't currently have an air division. They only have land, personal protection and riverine divisions. |
