The Nigerian Air Force has been a long time admirer of the T-129 Attack Helicopter. With the service poised to procure 6 x units in 2015.

The Nigerian military, Army and Air Force are still in the market with hopes of procuring new Attack helicopters, but there seems to be a significant slow down to these procurement activities.

Plan to purchase M-346FA fighters has also slowed, we have not also seen any indication that the Nigerian Air Force will order additional JF-17s.

The Russia/Ukraine war is also not helping matters, maintenance of MI-35M helicopters and the upgrade of 3 x MI-35P variants to the latest upgrade package would almost likely be stalled also.

This situation presents a major challenge for Nigeria, time will tell how we respond to these significant draw backs.

Excuse me Sir, do you really think i do not understand that this is a TIME video? Let me restate the problem: You are repeatedly trying to support the Russian "denazification" narrative in this current war (also by posting this video) while not understanding backgrounds of this topic.
No offense, you're an imbeciile.

There are always multiple sides to a story. It is important that people are presented with all sides of a story, and are allowed to make whatever conclusions they see fit.

I could not careless if the Russians and Ukrainians kill themselves, both have shown to be incredibly racist.

It is however important to show why they are killing themselves, and not just through a Western perspective only. It's basic common sense.

Some people have asked, why does the Nigerian Navy need a ship like this when we have a BHT and Bandit problem.

- First, the Nigerian Navy has always had heavy Sea lift capabilities, the ship is expected to restore our Sea lift capability, and the Navy's ORBAT.

- The Nigerian military's recent military deployment to Gambia showed a major flaw in our response capability, while we rapidly deployed nearly 800 men to Senegal, we could not send in any armour. With a ship like this we would be able to rapidly supply men and armour, APCs, Tanks, IFVs and MRAPs where and when we need them.

- Humanitarian capabilities, the Nigerian Air Force has flown thousands of hours of humanitarian flights in the last 10 years. NNS Kada allows Nigeria to deploy massive humanitarian aid to countries across Africa in much, much larger volumes.

- Gunboat diplomacy, the presence of NNS Kada can help deter conflict in the region. It is also a piece of floating Nigerian culture.

MiddleDimension:
so, how does the NN measure up with other navies across Africa? If you were to rate the NN, where would you put it with respect to the other navies on the continent?
It doesn't work like that. Countries are measured on the basis of how equipped they are to deal with the threats they are expected to face.

The Nigerian Navy is well positioned to deal with all foreseeable threats the service is expected to face.

Murtala Muhammed is worse than last time I was here.
My luggage is missing and nobody can tell me where it is. And considering there are holes in the conveyor belt, wouldn't be surprised it just fell off.

Trying to buy some clothes, and none of the shops accept non-Nigerian cards. ATMs can only dispense a maximum of 20 000 naira per transaction, and seeing that I've now withdrawn 5 times, my bank deemed it suspicious -considering the location and the highly unusual behavior; can't remember last time I withdrew cash - and blocked my card.

On a positive note, the local detail have fantastic in trying to iron out issues.

Postscript: My cards work at Shoprite, where I went for toiletries.
This is incredibly sad.

Please report to the appropriate authorities.

You made a lot of silly gaffes. First America didn't invade up to ten countries.

Secondly the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq were not failures. The two governments were deposed. Iraq still runs a democracy till today. For Afghan, after the occupation of the US ended, the installed government of Afghanistan was the failure not the US.

Hostomel airport facilities has been destroyed by artillery fire and is practically useless now. Russian troops have mostly left there to other fronts.

Heavy fighting is still ongoing in Maruipol. The city isn't taken yet. There's also nothing to indicate that Russia intends to or will succeed in taking Odessa. That's wishful thinking from your head.

I talked about close air support missions and not flying sorties at 50k ft to release cruise missiles.

Iraq had a modern airforce that was made up of several SU-22, Mig 25, Mig 29. Due to the strength of the airforce and military. Op Desert Storm was the war that saw the highest losses of US aircraft. Not very high though wink
Ok.
