PoliticsRe: The Trains Are Back Look: At People Enjoying Nigerian Trains by Kagarko(m): 11:25pm On Dec 29, 2014
Pls i expected people to have gone to the train station and see the ttypes of train in use and the amount of money they spent before commenting.

All they do is to repaint those 1965 trains and put them back on track.

Iam assuring you that those trains will not last more than 6 months.

When sambo was kaduna state gov he did some thing like this and after 6 months they all collapsed.

Police you aren‘t helping the situation.

Who are the parents?

We expected that by now the parents should have been traced before granting this interview.

If it were to be in the USA And Other Advance Countries Like France and Britain their police would have gotten the parents and all involved directly or indirectly.

PoliticsRe: I Was Confused But Today I Decided I Would Vote For Gmb For These Reasons by Kagarko(m): 9:52pm On Dec 22, 2014
okoyemike:
"if voted into power within the next four years, the issue of power will become a thing of the past. Four years is enough for anyone in power to make significant improvement and if I can’t improve on power within this period it then means I cannot do anything even if I am there for another four years”. -GEJ

For sometime now, I had been confused on whom to vote for come February 2015, and I had always advocated that a youth be voted in from another party as we have numerous other parties aside PDP & APC.

However, after careful considerations, I realised that hoping for another party other than APC or PDP to win the presidential election is a wasted hope for many reasons & I would mention four reasons;

1, You all can agree with me that tons of
money is needed also to clinch the seat of the presidency and no other party has that privilege than PDP & APC, while the PDP has access to unlimited funds, the APC is not left behind either as they have the backing of former and present government officials that has corruptly enriched themselves.

2, It takes a political party with nationwide spread to win a presidential election

3, It takes popularity on the side of the aspirants too and no other contender is more popular than GEJ nor GMB

4, Aside voting, it takes a party with the machinery to protect its vote to win a presidential election, both PDP and APC has its fair share of former and present top officials.

Let me briefly state the reasons why PDP should go

1, PDP has been in power since 1999 and there is no outstanding achievement so far, please state the outstanding achievement if you know any

2, Past and successive PDP goverment has protected its corrupt members and have even gone ahead to pardon the ones convicted by the court

3, No successive PDP government has ever probed its precedessor which would have kept corruption at bay

4, Over $20B has been spent by PDP government on the power sector, yet the sector is as stagnant as ever

5, GEJ has been marred with corruption, episodes of missing billions of dollars, head of ministry siphoning billions, unpaiud pensions and misappropriation.

The list of PDP's inefficiency and unpatriotic acts is endless but I have to stop here and briefly state four reasons why GMB deserves a chance

1, Just as GMB utterances when he lost in the last election made the Islamic extremists "Boko Haram" aggressive, you all can agree with me that GMB voice is so familiar with the extremists that they may stop the incessant killings when GMB assumes office and for this reason alone, I would vote for him even though we are held to ransom.

2, GMB has proven to be fearless and won't mind probing past government leaders and jailing them if they are guilty thereby putting end to corrupt practices.

3, GMB has proven not be a tribalist as reports has shown that majority of his officials during his military regime were not of Northern extraction.

4, Same set of people has ruled us for over 15years, let give other party a chance

Conclusively, we shall be prepared for a revolution if the Buhari government fails us, if they win anyway.

Sorry for the long write up, discussing Nigeria's political situation can be likened to writing a novel; feel free to add your reasons below:

God bless Nigeria!
What a nice decision and it is in the best interest of all Nigerians who are yearning for peace and development.
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: many Feared Dead In Bomb Blast At Gombe Motor Park by Kagarko(m): 5:05pm On Dec 22, 2014
Chukwudi44 said that

“Muslim leaders have failed this country. They have failed to call their followers to order. The wahabi Sunni Islamic ideology is devastating the north“

My take on this is:

I said to him and any other person that have similar opinion on Boko Haram that what do they know about sunni wahabism? The wahabi sunni are the most peaceful islamic sect in case you don‘t know.

The real BH of yusufiyya movement are the khawarijites whose opinion defers from the wahabi sunni sect who practiced the real islamic ideology that was practiced by the prophet SAW himelf and ordained all his followers to practice even after his death till the day of qiyama.

As for the present spate of terrorism been perpetuated by these unscruplous elements equally defers from the attack by the yusufiyya sect of BH as it is been carried out.
It does defer and what is happening now is political hence they enjoy the support of Nigerian Military by giving them all the protection they need. The case of SAS will suffice.

So chukwudi44 and co pls grow from that your baseless position.

We need change of govt. America is strong because power alternates between democrats and the republicans.

Kenai:
My guy, no need to get confrontational.
What I just stated is a glaring fact. Nigeria is a highly tribalistic country, and the questions won't be based on whose duty it is to safeguard the country from attackers, but on "What tribe are those attackers from?"

Sentiments are really high in the Middle Belt right now, and I don't see those people ever wanting anything to do with Fulanis for now.

Buhari's previous statements on the killing of Boko Haram operatives being "genocide" will still come back to seriously haunt him on February.

Majority of the voters in the Middle-Belt won't be the pseudo-intellectuals voting on internet polls, but will be the many farmers whose houses and farms these Fulani cattle herders raze everyday.

This is a statement of fact. Buhari is finished in the Middle Belt.
Tribalism will come into play.
What's middle belt ?

Sardauna has cursed it. That's why it's only sentimental few that still uses middle belt .
The likes of Jerry Gana and co. Even David Mark can't officially mentioned middle belt .

Apc won in Osun and nobody is disturbing Ogbeni Rauf, they are all waiting for tribunal's decision, that is how to be a looser.
