Is Your Position bigotry based ? If yes you should understand that there are christians found with explosive devices and fire arms especially in A10 Garki and so many churches around Bauchi Gombe Kano etc
The trial Judge could not established a link between them and Boko Haram. There only offence is possessions of IEDs and fire arms. Behold they are just criminals and not terrorists as it is widely speculated.
Terrorists are not muslims. And if you say no then what ever evil that Adolph Hitler did during his Genocide regime should be link to his religion ( Christianity )
All the evil perpetrated by MEND should also be associated to Christianity because they are christians.
Like wise Ojukwu is also a christian terrorists.

It is one thing to ascribe to a particular faith and it is another for his actions to conform with the tenets of his religion.

salt1: One reason why some of us still want a united Nigeria is to safeguard Christian minorities and their right of worship.
If the North becomes Arewa Republic, the Christian minorities will either convert or be killed. It has already happened in per-dominantly Muslim countries. Turkey was before a stronghold for Christianity but look at what it is today. The minority Christians in the North face extinction. They will be safer in a united Nigeria.
Don't mind all those who are arguing that the fight doesn't have religious undertones. Who has kidnapped anyone from Fegge, Sani Abachi's ward in Kano?

PoliticsRe: Breaking: Fg Extends Ebola Holiday Till New Year For Students by Kagarko(m): 4:19pm On Oct 01, 2014
FNNEWS: Reports reaching FNN from across the nation states that Primary and Secondary School students whose term resumption dates were postponed from to October in order for the country to curb the Ebola Outbreak has stated displeasure with Govt. and school authorities in different states of Country.

According to some of the students, who claimed to be used to staying at home already, pleads with Government to extend their break until after Christmas. With the amounts of public/National holidays around the corner, these students might just not return back to full school mode anytime soon. Some blamed the Government for the ill timed resumption, citing that school just can’t resume when FIFA 15, iPhone6, Big Brother Africa, Scandal season 4 amongst others are all being rolled out, but instead plead with the Government to give the country more time to monitor the status of Ebola in the country.

Meanwhile the National Association of Nigerian students has disassociated itself from these students, stating that as far as the body is concerned, they are only bothered by students in Higher Institutions and ASUU strike related matters.

We at FNN do not understand what is becoming of our future leaders, especially with the poor performance in recent WAEC, NECO and JAMB examinations, hence we are forced to accept that the said students have lost sight of the future and the inspiration to strive to be leaders of the future, especially because most of their fore-fathers whom they are taught about in History and Government classes are still the leaders today and appear to remain leaders of tomorrow, 2015 and beyond.

When countries are building power plants that have more than 50,000MW in excess of what they need. Each time the government dare mention increments in power status the lower the MW. Sabotage from the government it self.

PoliticsRe: $9.3m Scandal: Oritsejafor violated Company Law, Says Falana by Kagarko(m): 2:07pm On Sep 30, 2014
stopdat: Human rights lawyer, Mr. Femi
Falana (SAN), has accused the
President of the Christian
Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo
Oritsejafor, of breaching the
provisions of the Company and
Allied Matters Act through the use of
a private jet belonging to a company
in which he had interest to smuggle
$9.3m cash to South Africa.
Falana said by the provisions of
CAMA, the jet which was allegedly
registered for the facilitation of
evangelism could not be leased to
another company for commercial
purpose, as CAN had said while
defending Oritsejafor.
The lawyer said this in a paper he
delivered at a seminar organised for
the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission’s prosecutors by the
Justice Research Institute in Abuja.
He described as diversionary, the
statement credited to CAN that the
jet had been leased to another
company, apparently to deny
Oritsejafor’s involvement in the jet’s
mission to South Africa.
He said, “Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the
President of the Christian
Association of Nigeria, whose private
jet was used to ferry the money to
South Africa, has denounced those
who have dared to challenge the
involvement of a plane bought for
evangelism in the alleged smuggling
of laundered money.
“In spite of the diversionary
statement of CAN, the influential
pastor cannot dismiss the scandal
with a wave of the hand. With
respect, the explanation by CAN that
the jet was leased to another
company is an admission of the
breach of the law.
“A jet registered for the facilitation of
evangelism cannot be leased to
another company for commercial
purposes, as churches are
registered under part C of the
Company and Allied Matters Act as
non-profit making organisations.”
He noted that many Nigerian pastors
had been indicted in the United
Kingdom for investing church funds
in violation of the Charity Act.
He, therefore, said the CAN President
should apologise to Nigerians if he
was lucky to escape prosecution for
a breach of the provisions of CAMA.
The lawyer said, “In recent time,
some of our pastors have been
indicted in the United Kingdom for
investing church funds in business
in violation of the Charity Act.
“If Pastor Oritsejafor is lucky that he
is not prosecuted for breaching the
CAMA, he owes Nigerians a public
apology. The CAN leadership cannot
afford to engage in attacking its
political opponents in a matter
pertaining to the breach of the law.”
Falana also called for the adoption
of the recommendation of the
National Conference that the office
of the Attorney-General of the
Federation should be separated
from that of the Minister of Justice
and those of the attorneys-general
of various states be separated from
that of the commissioners for
justice.

Freest: I got this and needed to share for every Christian Believer to read and gain understanding

Abuja Declaration (1989)
The Abuja Declarion is the outcome of a conference of the African countries of the (OIC) in 1989 and launched by a communiqué of the Islam in Africa Organisation (IAO) founded during this conference.

The Islam in Africa Organisation (IAO) is a Nigerian satuted Islamic organisation, an initiative of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC).

Dr. Usman Muhamad Bugaje is the current Secretary-General of the IAO,

The organisation was founded on 28 November 1989 in Abuja,[1] Nigeria, with the goal to win the whole of Africa for Islam. The statutes and goals[2][3] are ratified in 1991 and this marks her formal definitive founding. The founding-communiqué is also called the Abuja Declaration.[4] Startingpoint for the conference is the fact that Africa is the only continent with an Islamic majority and therefore Africa should fairly represent Islam in government and civic life[5]
The plan contains a lot of points that are also common for Christian missionary organisations as relief and economic progression.

To promote the unity and solidarity of the Muslim ummah throughout Africa and the rest of the world and to support, encourage and enhance Islamic propagation and resurgence generally. To promote peace, harmony and human development and strive to remove all forms of discrimination, human exploitation and oppression especially in Africa and the world in general. To support, enhance and coordinate Da'wah work in all parts of Africa and propagate the knowledge of Islam throughout the continent. To promote the dissemination of the knowledge of sharia and support its application to Muslim communities in Africa. To strive for the evolution of the economies of the ummah in conformity with the sharia and the attainment of economic self-sufficiency and self-reliance in Africa by promoting industrialization, trade and overall economic development. To encourage and support human resource development programme in Africa, particularly the education and development of the Muslim youth and to ensure that women are accorded their rightful place in society as enshrined in the sharia. To serve as a mouthpiece for the articulation of issues of common concern to Muslim communities in Africa and the rest of the world. To undertake research and publications on all aspects of Islamic history and Islamic intellectual heritage in Africa. To undertake the translation of Islamic works into various African languages and their dissemination. To promote the learning of Arabic language throughout Africa. To promote respect and undertake measures for relief and comfort of those in distress in Africa and other parts of the world. To promote respect for human rights and dignity and to support, with appropriate means, all causes of general justice and freedom throughout the world. To cooperate with other national and international bodies to uplift human dignity and enhance human welfare in Africa and in the world in. The IAO consists of four main organisations:[6

lanrexdo: I knew that there was going to be a clash over the presidency especially that Atiku. He has nothing meaningful to offer. You cant just come from no where and claim the Ticket. The reason the merger of CPC and ACN was successful was because acn had no presidential aspirant and cpc under GMB want to add to his own vote.. So you can't just come from no where and steal GMB's dream. I guess at the end of the day, Mr Atiku will port to another party because that is what he does. He wants the presidential ticket by fire by force. It should have been GMB that should have announced first for his presidential ambition not Atiku. They want to have unlimited power, fame and wealth. That is the highest they can ever attain when you become the president of country. They have both tasted power and know how it feels. they want to continue the large life of lawlessness. That is all i feel about this so call people who wants to be Nigeria Top Boss. The only person i have seen who has a dream for this country is GMB. The rest are just bunch of senseless people who wants nothing but power and loot our already damaged economy dry.
The only surviving true democrat Nigeria have is Atiku. Of all the politicians that Nigeria have the only person that believe so much on true democracy and political freedom and he so much believe in the Nigerian project. but unfortunately he is a Capitalist and is having so much international influence. If giving the chance he will continue the real transformation that was started by OBJ. To err is human and Atiku is a human which could have his ups and downs.

On the other hand Buhari The People's General is a socialist and is at per with capitalism. The truth remains that the people s general lack the 21st century technical know how to run this country more especially that he cannot win in the southern part of the country.

To be candid between Buhari and Atiku I will definitely go for Buhari.
Vying presidency isn't like vying governorship where electorate are localized. And one of the major factor worthy of consederation is that presidential is a capital intensive project and lacks the billions to spend during campaign.

LilNetty: The Defence Headquarters has insisted that it has killed Abubakar Shekau in a recent raid, in Konduga and that as a result, many of the Boko Haram foot soldiers have surrendered and laid down their weapons.

In a statements issued by the Defence Information Spokesperson, Maj. Gen . Chris Olukolade, the Army commended its men for their gallantry even in the face of extreme confrontation by the insurgents.

It further confirmed that on the 2 and 17 September 2014, the insurgents attempted to violate the security in the region and tried to enter Konduga to perpetrate their atrocities. It said that with Air and land forces deployed to handle the situation, the convoy of combat vehicles typical of terrorists’ mission that involves their top commanders, were fiercely engaged, where ”several of the terrorists including some of their commanders lost their lives in encounters which lasted an average of about 5 hours each. ”

The statement said the troops captured some of the terrorists and their equipment and as well killed Shekau. It said; ”In the course of those encounters, one Mohammed Bashir who has been acting or posing on videos as the deceased Abubakar Shekau, the eccentric character known as leader of the group died. Since the name Shekau has become a brand name for the terrorists’ leader, the Nigerian military remains resolute to serve justice to anyone who assumes that designation or title as well as all terrorists that seek to violate the freedom and territory of Nigeria,”the military warned.

hardywaltz: Kaduna state Governor, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, yesterday declined an award by the Kaduna North local government chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), saying he had to be told the reason and what he did to deserve award.
The governor, who spoke during award night and cemetery fund raising in Kaduna, frowned upon religious conflict, which he said was unjustifiable misrepresentation of teachings contained in the Bible and Quran.
He said: “I want us to be frank. I only accept award if I am told the reason and what I did or achieve but all I want to say is, and there is need for us to work hard for peace. But I am happy because I saw you honouring Muslims here which shows there is unity and understanding.
“We must do away with those who have only sweet talks, they will want to divide our society for their interests and the fact is, after they get what they want, they will still face problem of re-uniting same society they divided.
“There is no need to be fighting on religious and ethnic lines, religious leaders must work hard and ensure that we overcome all these challenges. This is my own take, we will all agree that we are serving God and so there is no reason for all these unrest.”
In his address, chairman of the occasion and immediate past chairman of CAN in the state, Rev. Samuel Kujiyat, said there was need for peaceful co-existence “because it is the bedrock of development.”
The recipients included the Minister of Environment, Mrs. Laurentia Mallam, Senator Mohammed Sani Saleh, Rev. Joseph Hayab, Alhaji Shehu Ahmed Giant, Kaduna state Commissioner of Local Affairs and others.
