Religion / Re: The Connection Between Thanksgiving And Faith by KaideeGee(m): 9:36pm On Oct 12, 2021
Hello fellow disciples, I don't really have much to say today, but I believe today's message is very important in any believers life.
Paul here said "...by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving...".
I feel what the Apostle was essentially saying here is "lest you forget, do not ask from God without thanksgiving". Thanksgiving is an expression of faith. Heb 10- ...Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. When you have faith concerning a request you've made, you are basically saying "I already have it, God has already given me what I asked for" Thus, since you have already received what you requested, the next action to take is to thank the giver. I believe this is a very common social practice.
Fellow Disciples, I hope you all get my point... Through faith you have already received what you asked for, therefore the natural response is thanksgiving.
May God help us to understand this and put it into practice.
Peace.

One thing I have come to realize is that, if you don't lose something while following Christ, you still have yet to begin.
Following Christ is a sacrifice... Just as Christ laid down His life for us, we are to lay down your lives and live for Him. We are to shun the way of life we were called from and transform into Christ's way of Life.
Sacrifice a lot of things that once brought pleasure, sacrifice your time, your money and other things for Christ.
But don't forget, whatsoever you sacrifice for God is actually an investment. And God's dividend can't ever be equal to your investment. There are always exponential increases. Never lose heart.
Peace.

Religion / 'Demotion' Is The Key To Promotion In God's Kingdom by KaideeGee(m): 8:15pm On Oct 10, 2021
We are here again in your presence Heavenly Father, please speak to us teach us, reveal yourself to us and inspire is, take control now and forever.
Cleanse us and make us receptive to your word. Glorify yourself by making us practice your word. Amen.

Philippians 2:3
[3]Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

'Demotion' is the key to 'Promotion' in God's Kingdom.

Jesus said that the greatest in God's Kingdom is the one who serves others most.
Pride, in any of it's incarnations is one of the things God hates the most in a person.
Lucifer is a very lucid example.
The word says God resists the proud. To resist is to act in opposition. He also says, He gives grace to the humble. Grace is unmerited favor, something you don't deserve, and of course in the world we are in, without God's grace, it is impossible to thrive as a follower of Christ.

Philippians 2:5-11
[5]Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
[6]who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
[7]but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
[8]And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
[9]Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,

[10]that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
[11]and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

I like to think of the Kingdom of God as a catapult or a bow and arrow. The further back your draw your arrow the farther forward it travels. And of course to anyone who has any experience, you will notice that the length the store travels is not equal to the length it was drawn backward. Exactly so in God's Kingdom, God never blesses in equality to our work, it may be proportional, but never equal, afterall He is God, not man.
I pray God to give us the strength to follow this principle.

Religion / Don't Underestimate The Power Of Doing Good by KaideeGee(m): 11:20pm On Oct 08, 2021
Dear Heavenly Father thank you for another day, for a successful day, be praised forever.
Cleanse us Father of all our filth through the blood of Jesus, make us receptive to your word, make us fertile ground, let your word germinate and bear fruit in multiple fold in our lives. Amen. Glorify your name, we decrease that you increase, for your strength is made perfect in our weakness. Let your will be done. Amen.

Ephesians 6:8
[8]knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.

Let me start by saying that 'good' is relative, based on the time and circumstances.
The word of God says that whatever good anyone does. Note the words whatever and anyone, implying that even if the doer of this good deed had been doing bad all his life prior, God will still reward that good deed. It's amazing.
Another thing I will like to clarify here is even though You are assured of the reward, you can't be assured of the time and that is one of the reasons many people give up on doing good. The same way a normal mango plant cannot mature and bear fruit overnight, but a single celled plant can do that in minutes. That same way the rewards for doing good are staggered. Some can come almost instantaneously, some will not even come in your generation, but in your children's generation. But one thing is sure... It will come.
Another point here is that the more difficult the deed the more the blessing; it is more rewarding to be respectful to a mean boss than to be respectful to a nice boss, of course all depending on the circumstances.
But there are times when it feels like in return for the good you do all you get is evil... Well there are many explanation for that and that is a subject I've already talked on. It may be a test, an inheritance, or well, a reward for your previous wrongs.
Another point I want to add here is that currently, the world is structured to make things difficult for the good guys, but the bad guys have it relatively easy. Don't be afraid, it just means that you will be getting significantly better rewards for every good thing you do.
In conclusion, the ultimate decider of the morality of an action is God the creator, the one who knows all, of God says it is good, even if it breaks the laws of the international community, it is good. If God is on our side, who can stand against us. Seek God first before every action, it may seem like a waste of time, but in the long run the benefits are invaluable...
Okay brethren, remain faithful in Christ, love all, even as Christ loved the world. It may take some work, but we will certainly achieve Christ's standard.

[8]Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.”...
[12]for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

Heavenly Father we are here again in your presence, at your feet, seeking to feed from you, Father take all glory in our lives, we lay our trophies at your feet. Cleanse us Lord, make us receptive to your word, Let us be fertile soil on which your word germinates and bears seed even a hundred fold. Thank you for it is done. Amen.

Whatever God gives to you, He wants you to use it to bless others. God created man for fellowship, with Him and with each other.
And like the popular saying "Charity begins at home" likewise, whatever gift you have should bless the body of Christ first and foremost.
And like Christ said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive". Don't take your giving as a chore, do it freely, at least try.
The Heavenly Father will bless us as we do this.

Ephesians 3:12
[12]in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

Heavenly Father, we are here again, take charge, we appreciate you for all your deeds in time past, be glorified and be glorified again now in our midst. Cleanse us Father, of every impurity in our lives, make us vessels onto honor; useful to you sanctified for every good work. Let us our this words to practice so men may see and glorify you. Do it again Father. Amen.

Brethren, the key words in this session are 'in whom' and 'through faith in Him'. If you read the preceding passages you will discover that the pronouns there are place values for Jesus Christ. Therefore, 'in Christ' and 'through faith in Christ'.
To the body of the text, it says 'we have boldness and access with confidence'.
To tie this together: We have boldness and confident access to God when we are in Christ and have Faith in Christ.,, This paints a very good picture of the relationship between faith and works. The 'in whom' refers to conscious obedience to God's words. This is essential for entering into God's presence as all form of disobedience is sin and Good detests sin.
The next is 'through faith in Him' This is a clap to the fact that you works can only get you so far, ultimately, only God's grace allows a man to be acceptable in His sight.
In as much as we as Non Israelite followers of Christ emphasize faith, conscious effort soul not be over looked or understated. We have a part to play, as God does.
Strive. Run your race with perseverance, let nothing stop you or distract you from Christ.

Galatians 6:6-7
[6]Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
[7]Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

The above passage seems very self explanatory to me. I do not want to expound too much on it. We are in an age where the forces of darkness are doing all they can, working overtime to usurp the way God made things to be. Glory be to God, for in all things, we are more than conquerors.
A particular area that has been targeted very much over the years is the area of giving in the church; there are many who claim that instead of giving to teachers of the word, it is better to give to the less privileged, out some other group of people, but honestly the scripture is very clear on this issue. The keeper of a vineyard has every right to eat from his vineyard. Even Jesus encouraged the woman who anointed His feet, saying that we will always have the poor, but we will not always have Him.
Brethren I do not want you to be ignorant, for the devil is like a roaring lion looking for who to devour. Do not let him shake your foundation of giving, for what you sow, you reap. Beware brethren, for the days are evil... Watch and pray.

Religion / He Increases Your SEED by KaideeGee(m): 10:25pm On Sep 22, 2021
2 Corinthians 9:7
[7]So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

Like we said earlier, it all starts with your heart. As far as you have the heart to do something, it is already received. Not only that, heartfelt giving attracts God's love, with God never be reserved. Infact, throw all logicality out the window when interacting with God.

2 Corinthians 9:8
[8]And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

When God gives to us, it is so we can have an 'abundance in every good work' meaning that we should put the provision God has made into good work. Majorly, God gives so we can give, it's like He is giving us capital to start up a business, He expects us to put it to God use, not hoard it.

2 Corinthians 9:10
[10]Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

This passage makes it sufficiently clear, God increases seeds not bread. Your seeds are your talents, your resources, your abilities, these inturn are what will provide bread.
Put the gifts God gives you to good use, everything has a purpose, God never just happens to do anything, He has a perfectly beneficial plan for every act no matter how seemingly insignificant, never doubt God. Accept Him and He will show you the way to fulfillment.

After years of research, it has been confirmed that in actuality, God does not want or even vaguely need anything from you... except your heart, your love if you will.
The scripture says obedience if better than sacrifice and to hearken then the fat of rams.
God doesn't need your money, your property, your time, your energy, no. All He wants from you is your heart. Don't deny Him this, the very fact that you exist is more than enough reason to Serve Him, but it doesn't just stop there, you are fed, clothed, housed, able to access the internet and whatever other thing you do.
Honestly, if you don't follow Christ I don't know what you are doing with your life.
