cococandy: It takes two parents not just a mom. Even in the face of such a sad incident, some of you can’t put your misogyny aside. It really really sucks. Both parents are to blame. Ignore the folks that blame it all on the mom. This accident was avoidable. I would expect that with their wealth the kid should be under 24 hours supervision at all times, they can afford to hire as many maids, homesitters, nannies as they need. Also they can afford to get a pool cover to cover the pool when there is no one in the pool or around the pool or when they are away from the house. This accident is totally unacceptable. |

Davido was born into wealth and has always being wealthy so why would he want to do rituals? Please you guys should stop insinuating rubbish. Enough with these silly rumours. |

Nigerians love bad news.
And our so called mushroom bloggers are the worst on the planet. Very useless set of bloggers that will never wait to verify the authenticity of news before posting it on the internet.
Why don't we all wait for the hospital to give us an update before saying the kid is dead? Nigerians are naturally evil people that wish bad things on their neighbours.
Very terrible set of human beings. This is why I keep to myself and avoid associating with Nigerians anytime I am out of the country. Pathetic. |

madjune: I don't pray for you to have any encounter before you dislodge your unbelief.
Years ago, I was once like you...that was until 1994. I've narrated my experience here on Nairaland but I doubt if many can recall it.
You see, we humans aren't the only life forms( at least, physically) in this plane of existence...or expanding into the universe.
There's a lot uncovered by the human mind and only the unfortunate few are chanced a revelation and, to what purposes I can't fully explain.
This happened at the College of education, Akampka in 1994 where I was an IJMB student then, preparing for my jamb exams for a hopeful admission into Unical. Now, ranging like 3 miles from the back of our male hostel was this river. It was a gently rolling river which meandered through narrow enclaves with fresh ferns and rock outcrops for one to bath or wash few clothes. We students went there for our baths, especially when the hostel taps seized running. On looking back, I can recall that, the students who were natives of that region shunned going to this river. Now, on this morning. Very early in the morning, the tap was out and we have this morning class coming up. My friend Jude and I hurried off to the river to have our bath. And as I can recall. As we walked down it's steep slope, down by the banks as we could see; a spectral form in the shape of an old woman with a lone stick tied to her head which she held with her hand stood out. She kept coming uphill as we descended. We made nothing of it. As we came closer to her, we noticed that from her trodden path, there came no sound. She seemed to float above the ground. We didn't quite take stock of this abnormality till we passed her. What we found strange was, as we passed her and proferred a greeting, she ignored us and moved on.
Now, within a step or two as we've passed and remarked to ourselves upon the woman's cold attitude; we turned to look around and fully call her into view. Could you believe it that the woman whom just took two steps was now more than two miles up the hill. And then, she stopped upon our gaze.
Her spectral form had an uncanny cast to it. It seemed like all that morning fog and darkness tended to form a halo above her head and as she made to.look in our direction, we ran off into the bushes...we kept running and running until we got to the doors of our hostel...and made it to our individual rooms where we kept screaming and mumbling incoherently. The whole students in the hostels gathered to hear our story and some of the natives had this knowing looks like they knew what we saw.
They wouldn't say much.
On that night we became sick and you know what, though we didn't share the same room or bed, more stranger was, we slept and dreamt...and had the same dream.
As we.woke the next day and recounted our dreams...it was like... You write well with good English. It's been long I've seen a properly composed post on this platform. Nice one |

Tinubu is a good man with bad intentions. A good man with bad intentions is a bad man. You got everything right in your post until the last sentence. Tinubu is not a good man and he has had intentions for the country which is the usual mantra of the evil APC party. Nothing good can ever come out of that party. |

lhordspy: Lol.
One thing obvious here is what the amateurish politician and its politically-kindergaten followers dont know. Politics is like a game of chess. Every move any politicians made could be analysed and interpreted not only for its significancy in the general electoral race but also the projected consequencies of such moves.
For the mathematicians, computer-scienist, biologist, the statistician, philosophers and so on. When i was in school back then, there is this topic Logic reasoning. Anybody ?
When i was in my first year, or second year in one of the aforementioned discipline. I was meant to understand Logical reasoning involves testing different sets of steps - or algorithms - to determine which sequence of rules leads to the correct solution.
It was confusing at first, until one of my prof. simplified it to me. You see, Logic reasoning really in a more plainer terms involves the relationship between A and B, and the study of the consequences of their immediate interactions.
Now back to the game of chess in relation to politics, any move is interpreted by the significancy or impact it will have on the wider electorate, now this moves may involve a false or possible moves.
The relationship between A(Obi and his Eye service) and B(the northerners) is non-existence, using every steps or algorithm(Taking into consideration past alliance, interactions, influence, intersection, structure and general public followership and sympathy) to want to arrive at any particular outcome(if obi really has a chance) ... Is zero, which means we are still going to arrive at Zero Outcome.
The significany of this visit in a chess game has little to zero impact on the wider electorate (the northern voters) and the projected consequencies of such needless visit still stands at Zero(inconsequential)
Kai, i wish somebody can see what am seeing. The typical rantings of a scared urchin. You guys never expected the APC party to have such a stiff competition right? You premium tears is just loading |

Pythons have a bone crushing, skin tearing powerful bite as well. They kill by stealth ( hiding and attacking when you least expect it). Most times before you realise it they have already coiled round you and all your bones are broken and it's already too late. They have been known to crush bones of deers and even humans to a pulp (paste-like) before swallowing. Very horrible way to die |
