I use to listen to her songs because the lyrics tell stories of life and motivation. But I don't know she's unwise, stupid, and uncivilised like this. But anyway, this won't surprise me because most of the Nigerian artists are daft, they don't even have the brain to write their songs. She probably doesn't know that this attitude will affect her fragile music career. I doubt if she's 100% yoruba. Hmm oya keep deceiving them, but the truth is more than 70% of northerners don't even know this Peter obi. And the remaining 30% that know who he is, doesn't believe that an igbo will ever meant good to northerners especially Muslims. I'm talking from experience, I have been to the east and all what I saw is hate, discrimination, and sentiment from the hotel staff where I lodged down to the street vendors I approached trying to buy something. That's why I thanked God that I made the right decision serving in the south-south instead. I am really just curious as to "why can't we just print more money and solve the poverty problem in the country?"

Terms like "inflation" and the "devaluing of the naira" are the usual buzz answers to that question. Also, people give the example that if we were to print more money and just give everyone N5,000,000 for example, then everyone would go out and buy things, thus making "THINGS" more scarce and in short supply and hence driving up the prices of things (simple demand/supply economics). But herein lies the catch for me... With TRUE unemployment rate somewhere around 33% in the country, if DEMAND for "THINGS" rose, then I would think that companies would WANT to hire more people and build more processing plants to keep up with demand and raise their profits. So, the influx of cash (printed money) would seem to solve the unemployment problem.

Again, we have agencies that regulates pricing in the economy: PPPRA, Price Control Board (Ministry of Commerce) etc, with those, can't the likely over pricing of commodities (THINGS) be controlled and gazetted to avoid the story of "too much money chasing fewer goods"?

In the final analysis, a robust and health competitive economy would have been created and underemployment issues largely solved.

Easy to say if you don't know how money or printing in general works. As an expert in printing (academically) let me wrap it up in a short note. Money are printed on gramage paper which cost a lot, also the security prints on those papers before the actual print is done also cost huge amount of money.

I went to INEC office in Nassarawa local government in Kano for registration. I greeted the security man in charge of application form in Islamic way and I told him I want to register for voters card. He looked at me carefully and told me there is no form that I should come another day. I stood there not up to two minutes and another man who is an Hausa man came. The security man greeted him and gave him form to fill. I was surprised.

I complained to some of the people in the INEC premises who are Muslims from yoruba and Igbo lands. They all complained about the discrimination. I went to one of the offices and complained. I was told to wait. I waited for a long time, no response. I went back again to the office and the man disrespectfully told me to come back tomorrow.

This is not right at all.

At least they even respond to your questions, only God knows what your people are doing to the Northerners in your state

The popularity of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, received a boost in Kaduna on Tuesday as several Northern youths embarked on a solidarity walk in his favour.

The youths, who represent different organisations, called on the presidential hopeful to remain resolute in his campaign towards birthing a new Nigeria where the security of lives and property could be guaranteed as against what they are currently experiencing.

Fielding questions from the newsmen at the sideline of the solidarity walk at popular Tafawa Balewa Road, Kaduna, the convener, President, Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Isah Abubakar, said that Nigerian youths were looking forward to Peter Obi replicating what he did when he served as Anambra State Governor between 2006-2014 across the country.

Isah, who spoke through NYCN Spokesman, Victor Ododo said, “we are conversant with what our incoming President, Peter Obi has been doing over time. We have been here since yesterday and today, we are walking the street to inform our fellow youths in Kaduna and by extension, across the North that we are with him.

“As you know, Nigerian youths are no longer talking about PDP or APC. See us in our numbers, registering for our permanent voter’s card across the country as “Obi-dient” Nigerians and we want everyone to know that we are for him come 2023.

“He is a father, a precision economist, a role model in terms of quality and representative leadership. He has done well as a two-term governor of Anambra state and of course, we want him to replicate what he did then across the country starting from 2023.
