From what you stated the applicant is to bring the Signee's Educational certificates?

I think its the Applicants recent Passport Photograph that is needed not that of the Signee because NAF is stating what you should bring for the Zonal Enlistment and your certificate is needed not that of the Signee so there is an assumption the Passport is that of the Applicants.

One would think that the Oshiomole we know would have had more control over the state in the 2015 elections and would have buried PDP in the state by at least winning Edo South for Senatorial and possibly Edo Central ( who knows ) and won more Federal House of Reps seats however there was a slight shift .

Oshiomole put a call across to Mr Chairman and Mr T who is the Lion of a place in Ikoyi and they called Captain Hosa Okunbor (Kapi) of Edo South who was warned by Mr B and Mr T to use his resources to ensure APC wins State House Seats .

If you are from Edo state and reside in Edo state , Good! There was Cash Movement in Edo State on April 10, 2015. All the Eco Banks in Edo State were closed early that day. APC won seats through Captain Hosa Okunbor.

Captain Hosa has a Businessman knew if he didn't oblige Mr Chairman of the Party and Mr T he would have been hunted by certain Agencies of Government.

Haba. You should leave Private Varsities out of this. If a parent can afford the fees of a Private Varsity its his or her money. He / she also decides when and how the money is spent. It's owned by a " Private Individual ". No one is forced there. If you talk about State owned Varsities I'd agree with you because fees should be subsidized.

The thread is about Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and not Covenant University or Babcock University. The people of Edo can vote out APC and hope fully PDP would change things I.e assuming they don't also do same years after.

Last week friday we closed from school early. As i reached house i then saw that all my clothes were dirty. So i decided to wash them all. The washing took me 6 hours but atlast i finished washing everything. Shirts, trousers, knicker and boxers. The only thing that i did not wash was my towel which i tied on my waist, there was not even boxers under my waist. Because i live in a face me i face you compound i decided to sit outside and look my clothes to dry before this boys in the compound will vanish my clothes like willy willy. I then borrowed mat and a newspaper from my neighbour. I put the mat on the outside of my door mouth and sat down on top of it reading the newspaper.

I did not know when sleep carried me off. I just woke up and saw that the towel had loosed off, breeze had carried it away to a far place, and people stood at the tap close to my room fetching water and looking at me like a mad man. Only God knows how many of them who had snapped me and use me to do display picture. I quickly stood up and ran into my room.

There was this girl in my compound called Chidinma that has been giving me green light before. I was then praying in my mind that Chidinma did not see me as I laid down like a goat that motor killed on the road. I did not come out of my house for 5 days. Shame did not let me come out. I was just praying in my mind that Chidinma did not see me.

Yesterday i heard someone knocking on my door, my people, as i came out, there was Chidinma standing at my door, i smiled at her, and told her i am not feeling well, that is why i have not been coming out since. She then said, No problem that she just came to give me back my newspaper because she carried it with my towel as i was sleeping outside my door mouth. Please, is there vacancy in you people's compound?

However the Matrimonial Causes Act (MCA) guides the operations at the Marriage Registry.

When you get married at the Registry you come under the purview of the MCA. If either couple wants to dissolve the marriage the couple can file a Petition at any State High Court.

I got into a conversation with a friend this afternoon. He talked about his intentions to settle down when he comes back home (Nigeria, since he has been in Asia) by December.

He literally asked for my assistance in helping him search for a lady he can settle down with. I vividly remember the last time we spoke (Sept. 2013). When I asked about his girlfriend, he said she was fine, and that got me a little confused.

It got me thinking, and I got interested.. I randomly asked few males on my list (25-32 years) range on their take on court marriage.. I'll try to quote them..

1st guy: Why court marriage when I'll properly get married to her? Court marriage na for people wey get belle b4 marriage or people wey their parents no gree give approval..

2nd guy: I've not really thought about it, maybe because I still see it as a Western type of marriage..

3rd guy: Why should I? Na she buy me property?

I continued in my quest to know/learn...

4th guy: Yes, I will. It's the best form of marriage. It protects the lady from any form of maltreatment..

5th guy: Yes, I will. It gives the lady a right, and separation will follow due process..

6th guy: Yes, but other people's opinion matter (such as my spouse family), etc..

Please Edit your Topic Head. There is no such thing as "Court Wedding". It is called Marriage at the Registry. The "Court" has nothing to do with it. The Federal Registry situate at Kings Way is Run by the Ministry of the Interior and not by the Judiciary or Ministry of Justice while the Marriage Registry situate at Obalende , share the same compound and building with Eti-Osa 2 is run by the Local Government.

If your church is licenced to wed, then you can get a license from the court and get joined in the church.

Since the certificate is from the court, it is backed by legal jugunu same as doing court wedding.

Some people don't also believe in court wedding; worldly things and preparing for divorce.

Assuming without conceding that I agree with you that GEJ is better than OBJ as per Employment, do not forget that from 2011 - to date unemployment has only increased and GEJ approved the establishment of over 7 new Federal Univerties. The new Universities will only produce more students and dump them in the Labour Market thereby making it even harder for his successor to tackle
