The research that has been done shows that as kids both male and female have or show the same level of caring or empathy. In adults, on average, no major differences, difference they really saw was that we feel and express care differently. Society also plays a vital role in desensitising men, as kids, the female is given a doll to care for whilst the male is given a soldier which he has to pretend is in a war. Women are brought up in different settings to men so are therefore able to express it and be more open to it. Men are taught to be hard about everything , called a sissy if they show too much emotion, patting you on the back instead of hugging you is their show of care and that's because of society.

Study also shows men in the role of caregivers showed the same level of emotions and same brain activities as care giving mothers. So no, having the organs to give birth doesn't mean you are "naturally" more caring.
