The very day Bullharry was declared as president, the hausa/fulani coblers in Ibadan with their okada riders started acting funny untill they were put in thier place by NURTW.
These herdsmen menace is getting out of hand. Isa won't go to any court, he won't be jailed kobo, all they'll do is send him back to North and after 2-3 months return to his base.
I think fighting them spiritually(if truly possible) is the better way, fighting them physically will cause reprisal attack in the North. |

safarigirl: Lol, what are you talking about 'lands in the open?
You think these houses are being built in the open? Anambra men build houses inside bushes, the only region with luxury houses built in the open is the North.
Enter Awka and Enugu towns and you will not see free land there either.
The civil war was over 40 years ago, it is foolhardy to assume cities have not been rebuilt, there were entire countries that didn't exist then. Abuja did not exist then, but come and see Abuja today, crowded. Your state that probably existed before Abuja, is possibly not as crowded currently. So, the war talk is stale sometimes the way you ibos reason is someway funny but i won't go further. Talking about your last paragraph. |

NaijaRoyalty: I heard Lagos is usually boring whenever the Igbos travel home for Christmas . i'm telling you. It is so broting that both Davido and Wizkid as big as they are couldn't sell out their shows because the ibos that were suppose to buy tickets all traveled back to yeast. Mumu, even Kizz Daniel sold out, Olamide sold out, Tiwa Savage sold out, since it's ibos that make places lively, i'm waiting for phyno and flavour to go and sell out in Anambra. Ibos bombarded their one and only shopping mall on christmsa day and they all started shouting nobody spend pass ibo, smh. There are 5 malls in Ibadan and all were full to the brim during the festive day, i guess it was ibos that was also spending there. |

Correcto: I have been to the east despite I am not IBO, the truth is that land is very expensive to get in a good place that is not a thick forest. Sometimes the land you see was inherited or bought very expensive. My friend, an IMO state guy bought a 1 and half plot of land for 4.5m in his village and I was there to witness it. I was shocked because there was nothing special about the land, just that it is sighted where people are living. we are saying same thing. Any land that you will buy as such in Yorubaland could cost as much or double. You'll wonder if people build newly in Yorubaland if you are a newcomer in our lands because new builders are always not lucky to get lands in a better place except deep inside, prolly where there'd be just one or two building only. To build in main areas, you have to buy an old building entirely. We have landmasse in Yorubaland no doubt but we surely can't use all, vegetation will have to take some for sure. |

safarigirl: there is plenty land in Osun and Ogun States if Davido and Wizkid are interested in building in their states, but everybody wants to choke Lagos, so, they can build on the swamp. but you've lived in this two states before to know this. Even Ibadan here, before you get land in the open to build you have to buy a family house, demolish it and do whatever you like with the land, lands that are mostly small. Need i remind you that our region never experienced any war and our forefathers houses are all still standing even though most are in shambles. Unless you are lucky to get to buy a new developing lands from estate management companies which will surely be new areas self, nothing for you in open places. We have no lands in the open but we have landmasse. Go to any Yoruba city/towns to confirm for yourself. |

I think ibos have lands sha. I mean free unused lands. It's almost so in their movies too.
Even Davido or wizkid no go fit get these kind compound not because they can't afford it but because they won't get the land unless of course they are willing to go live alone in the bush.
Yet these folks will come here and start telling us how land is so expensive in their yeast where as there are so many unused lands. Smh. Before you can get land in Yorubaland, you have to buy an entire family house, something one and half plot going for more than 30 mill.

OMANBALA1: You are inherently pained. Lagos state was developed and investments attracted to it which in turn attracted people from all parts of Nigeria. Ogun state is an overspill of Lagos. You didnt develop Lagos, rather benefited from its location. this was how they were helping us built Ibadan then too because it was then also the capital of Nigeria. |

Tajbol4splend: Even the lives of these Igbos who badmouth Yorubas at every chance depend on our wealth of resources. This is not tribalism but try tell an Igbo man who has migrated to the West after two years to move back to the east, no he can't because his life has changed for good. It's just a matter of time before the gold mining in Osun State turns it into a big deal. a typical ibo man would rather die in Yorubaland and have his remains transported back to iboland than watch himself leave blessed Yorubaland for iboland. Kolewerk. Let them keep badmouthing. The shame is on them. Someone like gandollars placenta was buried somewhere in Yorubaland, she will even use our own language to badmouth us. Na them go tire last last. Tajbol4splend: I thought they got huge allocation there, people there should be fine

Brunosamel: Hello guys, I have been worried about this issue, I just graduated recently and am at the peak of my career trying to shape up my life for the better future, my girlfriend, someone that I have been dating for the for the past 6 months... we have so much in common and built our relationships with love and trust... the journey wasn't easy but we were able to settle our differences and understand each other....
Recently she met a childhood friend whom she had a crush on when growing up, but the guy never asked her asked to be his girlfriend never said anything to her cuz he saw her as a small girl then.. The guys is into business and has quite established himself... last 2 months the guy asked her out and she told me about it cuz she needed my permission whether she should go or not and I said okay she can but it will only be first and last time she will go out with him...
To cut the story short, last night I called her line and she was on another call for more that 30 minutes.... I confronted her about it and she started crying was begging me that she was sorry and that the guy is really disturbing her....... asking her to give him a chance, to the extent that she should leave me for him, he will give her anytime and even train in the university.... she told the guy she can't leave her boyfriend becuz she loves me so much.... I was dumbfounded and I don't even know what to do about it cuz I don't have the resources (money) at this moment
Relationships gurus what do you think about my situation I need your opinion and suggestions cuz I love this girl so much and want to settle down with her cuz she suffered with me and I suffered with her.... say what ever you want to but just be brutal honest with me.... @bolded, this very same line of crying and begging. Una no dey tire for the line? She's human just like you, she's got emotions just like you too, she's got a life just like you, and she's got a decision to make. Nothing ties her to you, if she choosed you for whatever reason she believed, congratulations to you and if she choosed the other guy, she made her decision, she still have the freedom since she isn't tied to any person yet. It's her life. If she leaves, there's nothing to regret about it, it's life and we are all hoping and pray we'd always make the right choice and if she choose you for whatever reason, then don't fail her. Just keep your head straight and await whatever that come out of it, don't stop being who you've always been to her. By the way you said you are at the peak of your career yet there is no money for now. So how come you are at peak but nothing is coming out of it? You people go just dey throw english anyhow. |
