My dear, I beg to disagree with you on this. This sort of practice is what sociologists term "culture shock". It literally means that as one travels out of his/her immediate environment, you tend to see things in variation to what is obtainable in your immediate environment. In sociological norm you have to socially appreciate such practice as criticizing it amounts to being a threat or giving supremacist view that your culture is superior to theirs which is not true. All cultures are unique in their own way and as such deserve our recognition and respect.


Haven said the above, kindly dissociate your self from holding such condemnable thoughts about cultures that are quite different from what you hitherto know.

An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court sitting in Ogba, Lagos State, has ordered the remand of a 24-year-old woman, Onyinye Mbadike, in prison for locking up her 10-year-old cousin, Chibike in a kennel.

She was arraigned on two counts bordering on assault on Friday before Magistrate B. O. Osunsanmi

Chibike, an orphan from Anambra State was said to have been living with the suspect since 2012 when his parents died.

His ordeal was in the limelight recently when a viral video revealed how Mbadike locked him up in a dog cage after beating him for allegedly taking an alcoholic drink she kept in a refrigerator.

The woman also alleged that the boy misbehaved and smashed the side mirror of her Toyota Camry car with a stone, which made her detain him in the kennel.

The video, which was secretly done by a neighbour, attracted the public rage as people called for the arrest of the woman.

Officials of the Gender Unit of the Lagos State Police Command eventually tracked down Mbadike at her residence on Trimnell Street, Aguda, Surulere on Wednesday.

The command’s spokesperson, DSP Bala Elkana, had in a statement on Thursday stated that the boy was rescued and taken to a protective custody, adding that the suspect admitted she was the one in the viral video flogging the child with a belt.

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Zubairu Muazu, had ordered the Gender Unit of the command to identify the woman in the video, rescue the child and make the suspect face the full weight of the law.

The Domestic and Sexual Response Team, Alausa, Ikeja, also added its voice to the call for investigation with a petition addressed to the Commissioner of Police to that effect.

The Gender Unit traced the suspect to the Chumpe Liquor Store, Surulere, and her residence in Aguda. The boy was rescued and taken to a secure shelter.

The suspect admitted that she was the one in the viral video flogging the child with a belt, but she denied locking him in a cage with dogs. She said she only locked him in an empty kennel, where bags were being kept,” Elkana had stated.

The police on Friday brought Mbadike before the court on two counts of assault and her plea was not taken.

The charge read in part, “That you, Onyinye Mbadike, of Trimnell Street, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos, in the Ikeja Magisterial District, did assault one Chibike, 10 years old, thereby committing an offence punishable under Section 172 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State.

That you, Onyinye Mbadike, did put one Chibike, 10 years old, in a kennel in order to choke or suffocate him, thereby committing an offence punishable under Section 239 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State.

The presiding magistrate, Osunsanmi, ordered that the defendant be remanded in prison custody, adding that the case file be sent to the Directorate of Public Prosecution for legal advice.

The case was adjourned till October 9, 2019 for mention.

found myself in three guys life. The first one, which I love so much doesn’t understand my feeling and he is self-centered. He doesn’t care about what I think, all he want is his opinion to be right. That is not even the problem, I don’t see him as ambitious man. He is a graduate and still seeking a job.

I understand that he is not yet employed as my part I started thinking for a way to help him get a job. I even joined job vacancy groups for his sake. I will always forward link that are related to his field to him but I discovered that he is not applying. I am thinking maybe because his father is Rich that’s why he is not serious.

All he want is, going to club and flirting. There was a time, he wanted to go down with me and I refused. I am scared of getting pregnant for someone who is not financially ready. Ever since,he stopped calling and checking on me. I was hurt a little.

The second guy, I met him on WhatsApp sometimes ago. We came down to my state for this sallah celebration. I decided to meet him, I don’t trust the fact that he is single. I am doubting that he is not married. Now, I didn’t tell him my real name and anything true about me.

I don’t know how to start with that if I eventually see that he is serious about me. When I visited him, he also made sexual advances to me, which I refused. He didn’t speak to me till I left his place that day. Now I am thinking that all guys want sex.


Eventually, he called saying that rubbish him by not allowing him to touch me. I told him that I am not into such relationship. I have not heard from him since then.

The third guy, is married and has two children. When I met him, I never knew he is married but I secretly like him. When I discovered that he is married, I pull myself from him.

Just recently, he is making some approaches that he really loves me that I shouldn’t mind that he is married. I told him I fear the law of karma, I don’t want to hurt his wife so that someone wont hurt me too. His advances is intimidating.

Also saying he want an understandable relationship with no pregnancy.

I was even thinking that I am not lucky with men. Maybe there is something I am not doing. I make sure I came out with an excellent grade in school, I learnt skills, I don’t club nor party. I just want love with no stress.

My question is, how do one meet the right spouse?

I read a part of 48 laws of power where a king who disposed his brother from the throne had him jailed but fed him with the best of food that he became so fat and foolish. When asked by the city nobles to release his brother since he's no more a threat, the king simply replied that he has given his brother apple opportunity to escape from prison except that he eats too much that he became too fat to move through the iron bars which an average sized human could moved through. Such is the situation of zalkzaky lolz. He's likely to spend 20 yrs with DSS and forget where he came from hahahaha
