The number of children delivered during the Holy Ghost congress has nothing to with brainwashing. What Pastor Adeboye is emphasizing is that those women were delivered safely without any form complication. As regards when the women got pregnant, it should be obvious to any discerning person that those women came to the Holy Ghost congress with their pregnancies. I am not a member of Adeboye's Redeemed Christian Church of God, but I believe we should refrain from criticizing people when we dont have our fact right. The poster did clearly state reasons why Adeboye should be regarded as a scammer. Just making a biased claim those not make your view right. |
The current FCT Minister Alhaji Adamu Aliero today stated in an interview he granted to Channel TV that he has spent 22 billion naira so far on the Abuja light rail project. He also stated that he intends to spend 80 billion naira in 2010 on the same project. Ask any resident of Abuja, there no sign that any rail project is on. From Abaji to Kwali to Gwagwalada, there is no single sign that any rail project has commenced. Then where has the money gone into. Alhaji Aliero was the Governor of Yobe State for 8 years yet did not achieve anything. He was compensated for his non performance with a ministerial appointment. My fellows NLs it seems our problems in Nigeria is increasing. C U |
I just want NL folks to state the Governors they think are performing. Not those always in the media with a lot of hype and showmanship |
My picks are; 1. Rt. Hon Rotimi Amaechi He has initiated several laudable projects such as the building of model Primary Schools and Primary Health Care Centres in all the LGAs in River State. He has stated the greater Port Harcourt project and new Port Harcourt City projects. He is unassuming and acts like he is aprt of the people unlike other Governors that wants us to believe they are demigods. 2. Raji Fashola He marching on successfully in the transformation of Lagos. Those who are planning to impeach him would be greatly disappointed. 3. Sullivan Chime Enugu is working now unlike the previous media hype of the ebeano grandmaster, Chimaroke Nnamani |
We should also expect more sackings from these banks. So all bankers should get ready |
Graduates seeking for jobs would have to try other sectors for now |
The rate at which banks are down sizing is alarming. From Zenith to Intercontinental and now UBA. The funny thing is that the tell you to go HR and sign a resignation letter, when they are actually sacking you. They content of the letter most times reflects that you are resigning on your own because they want to avoid any form of litigation. They make it sound that you are the one resigning. Another major issue is that most of these banker would realyy find it hard to cope outside the banking system. First, Banks are not recruiting now since the Sanisi interventionist measures. Two the nature of their job isolates them so much from the society such that even when they have money to do business they may not be able to cope with the harsh business climate in Nigeria. However, Life is a continium, for those that would sign the HR letter, I wish them the best. |
The cost of a wedding depends on the individual concerned. I have seen cases where most men and women have insisted in having expensive wedding. However, from what I have seen most women like expensive wedding; because they believe it is a one in a lifetime celebration. There are som many things that is also once in a life time. They would tell you they want to keep it simple, but deep inside them they want a big celebration. So they go for expensive wedding halls, very expensive ring etc. How much you spend or how grand your wedding ceremony is does not determine the success of your marriage. Most couple plan how to spend money on their wedding ceremony and leave out how to spend money on the marriage. Most people stretch themselves to the limit in preparing for a wedding because of the unrealistic budget. So they set up different committee of friends. Committee of Friends in the Office, of Old School Mates, in the Church, etc. No matter how much you spend your wedding would not be the best in the world neither would it be the worst. Even if your have the means, moderation should be the watchword. |

Why are trying to bring in Okocha. The question we should all ask is - Would okocha solve our problem. When last did he play a competitive football match. Before he retired he hardly featured for the full 90 minutes for Hull City in any match. we should not bring sentiment in a competition like the world cup. How can blonker talk of using the world cup as a send off match for Okocha, when other country are thinking of winning it. A valedictory match has already been played for him at the Warri Stadium last year. So while other countries are thinking of winning we are thinking of just going there and coming back. Okocha is a good and great player but for now we don't need him as part of the team. This campaign is meaningless, Okocha was part of the problem in the Super Eagles. In 2006, how many of our qualifying matches did he play. Remember he choose the matches he wanted to play and abstaining from playing certain crucial matches like our away game in Luanda. So please lets concentrate on building a strong team and discovering other talented players |
I have seen 2 cases of one partner being postive with HIV and the still go ahead to get married. HIV is no longer a death sentence, just seek good counselling and for having children your bet bet may be through IVF or thru assisted means |
