The Jews seems to have a strong foothold in every areas of activity globally irrespective of the discrimination they have suffered over centuries. What reasons can really be adduced for this. In the USA there are about million Jews and about 40 million Blacks yet the Jews dominates secretly in all sectors.
How did they get to where they are now; through hard work, usury, shell games, sleight of hand accounting games, treachery, deceit, bribery, networking, nepotism, lobbying, discrimination, taking charge of their destiny, good business sense etc.
Are there lessons we can learn from the Jews........ Kindly share your opinion on this.
However i would go ahead to list some global brands owned or controlled by the jews. |

The principal actors in all these are the NFF executives. Arson happens too often in Nigeria when somebody is under investigation. The most recent in mind was the burning of part of the CBN Governor's Office Annex in Lagos when Sanusi was under investigation.

yibomustgo: Jonathan did not address Obsanjo's allegations. What he has done is to just repeat the allegations and denied doing them. He tried to give Obsanjo some body shots while doing it. I don't see this a good response to what Obasanjo asked in his letter.
Jonathan failed to address the corruption allegations i.e Stellah Oduah and co....
Jonathan failed to address his talk about only Ibos voted for him and Ibos being his backbone....
Jonathan failed to address the allegation of Al-Mustapha release....
Jonathan failed to address the insecurity questions in the country....
Jonathan failed to answer the question of supporting opposition parties with the promise that they support him for re-election...
Jonathan failed to address the problem he caused in Rivers State as sitting Governor, Amaechi is being humiliated by police and GEJ loyalists...
Jonathan has failed to address the allegation of weapons being shipped to Enugu and not the rest of the country.......
There are more questions to be answered. Please did you read the letter at all |

Very soon the spokesman of Nigerian progressives would do the following;
1. Blame it on Goodluck Jonathan - to them he is the cause of every problem in Nigeria; even when a man can not achieve an erection GEJ should be blamed.
2. It is the handwork of his political enemies and detractors. |

Some unis has started already and those that refused to start are not doing their students any better.
Whether GEJ loss or win the next election it doesn't change anything in his life and their is no way anybody will read the history of Nigeria without mentioning his name.
We can't because GEJ is wrong and we keep on harming ourselves. At the end it doesn't make his wrong write and whatever harm we did to ourselves can never be reversed. Nice talk and summation of the whole matter |
Politics › Re: Go And Die - Oshiomole Tells A Widow! by kawkab: 9:20pm On Nov 28, 2013 |
Oshiomole is really missing it. If you listen to the video very well; when the woman said her husband just died and that her husband was a Policeman, The Governor reply is that her husband was among those that kills people on the road. Such comment is uncalled for. he then went ahead to tell the woman that if she is a widow she should go and die.
When primary school teachers went on strike in the middle of the year; when they called off the strike and resumed he insisted that they must work for the same number of days they went on strike and that they would not go for long holidays. However during his days as Labour leader, he is usually the first to insist that the Federal Government must pay workers even for the days they did not go to work.
Now in Benin along the Benin bye pass you have government thugs masquerading as tax/revenue agents harassing inter city travelers and collecting money from them all in the name of radio license, effluent, environmental charges etc even for private cars.
yet he claim to be a progressive. |

Politics › Re: G7 Governors Joins APC by kawkab: 10:30am On Nov 27, 2013 |
DTaj: Aabheaven, bro/sis, you appear naive. Do you expect to have a party of saints only Not even in the most pristine countries do you have politicians in a party who are all saints and above board!
Does it matter that politicians who once castigated one another are in the same party? Ikimi was a strong critic of Abiola and was NRC's National officer during June 12 while everyone knew Tinubu was completely pro-MKO Abiola, he was also the returning officer who delivered Obasanjo during THAT PDP Presidential primaries with the popular refrain: 'Obasanjo, Obasanjo, Obasanjo' 1 million times before Ekwueme 10 times! Where is he now? He's in bed with the same Tinubu as APC's Deputy National Chairman!
Wammako was an ANPP stalwart way back and was very powerful, didn't he decamp to PDP and started insulting the same ANPP? Saraki only decamped to PDP from the old APP, brought his son as Governor and started insulting the same APP (ANPP).
Atiku started with PDP, was AC Presidential candidate, and returned to PDP.
A number of polticians who helped Aregbesola win his court case in Osun were PDP members who decamped to ACN after he won the case against Oyinlola. Opeyemi Bamidele, Tinubu's boy in House of Reps is the de facto leader of Labour Party in Ekiti today and he's fighting the sitting APC Governor Fayemi so dirty, whereas we all know that Tinubu and Mimiko are political enemies. It is ALL about selfish interest!
Tinubu made Senator Obanikoro politically, first as Local Govt Chairman, and later as Commissioner, and much later as Senator (under AD). Are they friends today?
Senator Ogunlewe was elected as an AD Senator; didn't he decamp to PDP and fought Tinubu like a rabied dog!
Enoch Ajiboso was a staunch PDP man, didn't he decamp to join AC as Commisisoner for Agriculture?
Dr. Wale Ahmed, who owns a hospital in Agege used to be a thorn in the flesh of ACN as Lagos PDP Publicity Secretary before 2011 election. He was like Lai Mohammed of today! Didn't he decamp just before the election from PDP to the same ACN he used to insult and got compensated as a current Commissioner under Fashola? His godfather, Demola Seriki, who nominated him was a Minister under PDP just a few years ago, where is he now? APC!
Orji Uzor Kalu formed PPA and got Governor Theodore Orji of Abia elected while he (Orji) was in prison. Where is that party called PPA today The list is endless: Fayose was in PDP, Labour, AC (ACN), APGA, now back in PDP. Oyinlola, who hated Tinubu like dirt was at the nPDP meeting Tinubu's group held in Sokoto recently!
But you have corrected yourself with your last statement: "Someone once said and I quote "the only thing that unite politicians in Nigeria is CORRUPTION.God help our nation".
This is the raeson I always marvel at (and pity) all those jobless clowns on Nairaland who continue to insult one another and rake ethnic and religious bile at one another while ALL polticians are plotting how to access power for (largely) their own selfish reasons...
Let's face facts: don't you see that in most corruption scandals one easily finds Muslims, Christians, and pagans; Yoruba-Hausa-Igbo-Tiv-Kanuri-Igala-Ijaw-Urhobo-Idoma-Itsekiri steal together? When their interests are affected, they cry ethinicity, religion, tribe, etc.
Nigerian people are so gullible! The earlier we realize that no (I repeat NO) single political party will change anything, the better for us all! PDP, APC, Labour, APGA, KOWA, PPP, DPP, UUUUUFFYO, etc are bound by a common desire: steal, steal, and steal!
Cyber warriors, hold your peace! You can die online for politicians if you are a Reno Omokiri who earns his living from throwing dirt and insults, but if you are not and you continue to increase your BP for some politicians, na you sabi o!
End of... Thank you for your objectivity |

Politics › Gov. Amaechi Launches APC In Rivers State by kawkab(op): 3:46pm On Nov 05, 2013*. Modified: 11:52am On Sep 07, 2020 |
Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State was shown this afternoon on African Independent Television launching APC in Rivers State. He was the special guest and key note speaker at the event. He used the opportunity to lambast the PDP and federal government, picking holes in the policy and implementation and also used it as a forum to justify his stands against the Jonathan administration.
He did not also fail to criticize key political stakeholders in Rivers State, claiming that they are playing "stomach politics" and that they are driven to team up with the federal Government against him by hunger. He kept making reference to a former deputy speaker; but it was not clear whether he was refering to Austin Opara or Chibudom Nwuche - both former deputy speaker of the National Assembly.
While Rotimi Ameachi may be on point on some of the things he mentioned; the way he is going about it is disturbing; because you can't be claiming to be a member of nPDP or PDP and at the same time be openly advocating for another party even as the Special Guest at their launch and outing; I don't think that if Rotimi Amaechi is the PDP national or State chairman, he would condone this from another person.
Please nairalanders what are your opinions as regards this. |
Crime › Re: Beware Of Robbers On Benin Bypass Bridge by kawkab: 3:31pm On Nov 05, 2013 |
Several complaints on this matter have been made to the state government yet nothing has been done. using the benin bypass now is giving drivers of private vehicles sleepless night because they are the main target of this obnoxious acts. Especially when they notice that your number plate is not bearing Edo.
Driving through benin town is not even better because the group of people called "Oshiomole Police" (the use red/red uniform) may block your vehicle for very flimsy reasons; they are the only one that can correctly interpret the traffic law in the city of benin and they go about it in a thuggish manner.
It is very sad that the state government is doing nothing about this. |

Autos › Engine Oil Shortage In 1998 Sienna by kawkab(op): 5:05am On Nov 05, 2013 |
I use a Toyota sienna 1998 model using 1MZ FE Engine. I have used this vehicle for about 3 years. Any time I do an Oil change, within 2 weeks the oil level would drop to half the level. And there is no leakage anywhere on the engine. Usually every 2 weeks I top up the engine oil with 1 litre of Oil and in another two weeks I do same.
I have talked with my mechanic, he advised that I change the engine outrightly. However the vehicle still accelerates very well and it is not smoking. Every other unit viz AC, Radiator and others works perfectly well.

Travelista(f): Sorry to hear about the deaths of your coworkers; terribly sad state of affairs.
Now, here's something you may not want to read but it's truth and may help to put a few things into perspective:
1. According to your post, IBplc was taken over by Access Bank. As an IBplc employee (core or support), a person would be lucky to still have their job. In takeovers/mergers, the company that was taken over almost always gets the short end of the stick; this means, unless stipulated in the documentation that allowed for the acquisition and/or merger in the first place, your jobs is not guaranteed. If any wants to be angry, their wrath should be directed at the former leaders of IBplc.
2. Access Bank does not have to offer room for growth to former IBplc workers. Access has employees they hired using their own hiring practices; they come first. Don't like it, find another job.
3. As for being terminated for the slightest infraction: remember that Access took over physical branches but they may not need all of the employees acquired from IBplc. Again, making a mistake may look like you shouldn't have been hired in the first place. I know the excuse is flimsy but, again, they don't have to keep on people they did not vet themselves.
4. I don't even know how to address you blaming Access for the death of employees. If the families of the deceased believe that death was caused by actions made/taken by Access, they can file a lawsuit. Other than that, no business is going to offer money without being asked/forced.
5. Again, Access did not have to keep IBplc employees on payroll. Asking workers to stay late is the norm especially after a major takeover. As there lapses during the transition period, it is only fair that things get back to normal as soon as possible; that usually means someone is going to be burning the midnight oil and as IBplc was taken over, their held over workers get to do the grunt work.
6. No one from the former IBplc or Access Bank has to show up for the funerals; would it have been nice to show solidarity at such a time? Of course but it is a personal choice as to whether one attends such events. Outside of the branch where the deceased worked, no one else should be expected to beat their chests and pull out their hair. Access Bank is your employer and NOT your relative. As long as they pay you, they don't owe you anything else.
7. Core staff and support staff are not the same thing nor do they share the same duties; why should support staff be afforded the same benefits of core staff? You're complaining about not receiving nursing mother benefits even though your were paid during your maternity?! Amazing. Here, maternity leave is unpaid.
8. The more I read, the more irritated I am becoming with the author of this piece. Unless the professional, core and support staff all have the same level of degree, the complaints should just end. Why should someone put in the time to earn a higher degree only to earn the pay money and benefits as someone that has a lower level degree?
I can't even continue...this person was kept following a takeover and still complains. I must need a nap because this whole piece is just full of whining for no justifiable reason.
Cheer up, upgrade your degree and try again. If Access still won't give you a chance, look elsewhere. Good luck. You sound more like an undertaker. |
