Just last week the Chairman of Man U Fc as made the Vice President of the English FA. I thinks his name is David Gill though this may just be another coincidence but it may lead to some conflict of interest. This just my take. |
Guy thank you fo this direct shot; very much on targetPrincek12: If she is so stunning she would have shown a full length picture. Showing glamour shots of your pancaked face does not mean you are stunning. |
Itoroetti : When d are arrested,d wil blame it on d devil and lack of job.what would warrant u to kill a fellow human being?many questions to ask,but few answers When they with guns and under the influence of weed the act like super men. Immediately nemesis catches up with them, they would claim that it is the devil and that if they are released they would never do it again. some would even tell the press that it is their first time. Very soon their time would be up. |

There are several reason why a man would like to lock his phone. 1. Organizational Policy: When you work in an organization where you use your smart phone to access organization's network or official email, you are required as a matter of organizational policy to always lock your phone and not to share the password with anyone else. 2. A man's phone may also be locked from access to third parties. In this days where our phone/mobiles contains a lot of private and security information such as PINS, Passwords, User IDs, banking details, transaction history. It is always necessary you keep your phone locked. A third party may access your phone and quickly transfer such information by SMS or bluetooth to his our phone and devices and use same for purposes that may be detrimental to you. 3. When you have children, you would notice that immediately you drop your phones, they pick up the phone and start playing games, fiddling with it or snapping off with the camera. With the nature of smartphones today and the attendant operating systems (android, nqx, symbian, iOs) that they come with they may corrupt the OS or mistakenly delete the data on it. As such most time you may need to lock such phones. 4. A phone may also be locked to prevent immediate access of the data on it when you mistakenly misplaced or loss. 5. A man may also lock his phone to hide certain activity/information from his spouse. It may not necessary be as a result of extra material activities. For examples, if you have a wife who you know would always raise a bill equivalent to the amount of money she feels you have in your bank account. Some women are also unnecessary overbearing. Any number with a female or feminine sounding name in your phone book automatically raises suspicion from her, she expects you to give a detail explanation of every female sounding name or any SMS from a female in your phone. When you have a wife that behaves like this, it may be in the interest of the family to just lock your phone to save both parties the stress of quarreling every time over such issue. However, it is necessary to note that if your husband locks his phone always and you have something legitimate to do with his phone, then it would not be out of place to politely request that he permits you the use of his phone by giving you his password. Most ladies like to play CID/detective by always wanting to know what is in their husbands phone. Marriage is not a hostage situation and spouses must realize that the fact that you are marriage does not mean you loose every form of individuality. Both parties needs some form of space. Trust is key to the success of a marriage and as such, if they is absolute trust in all areas a man would be willing at all time to leave his open open to the wife. |

Yes yes Yes Though I am a Christian, Nigerian and Africa has shown that they throw religion away and morally to the dustbin when they get to public office. Rev Jolly Nyame a methodist Reverend ruled taraba State for 8 years they outcome was shameful. Rev. Fr. Adasu was the Governor of Benue State he achieved nothing. Shekarau was a professed Islamic Scholar; he ruled Kano State for 8 years using propaganda and other vain ploy, yet the state has nothing to show for it. In Nigeria today cars are more born again than those driving them. You see cars with multiple religious stickers yet the drivers drive like demented animals on the road. if one is an atheist and is morally uplift, forthright and has shown he is a good leader, though I am a Christian, i would vote for the person over and over again. |

Though the position of Chancellor of a University is ceremonial, he has admission quota, benefits in contracts and other pecks. This news is old news, it was in the papers some months or weeks ago. |

Iran should stop supporting Hamas and Hizbollah. For the Palestinians they are in a no win situation. How would you keep fighting someone that provides water and electricity supply to your territory and also provide employment to majority of your citizens. I believe the Palestinian Isreali war has no end in sight |
By Ndahi Maramahttp://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/10/to-stop-boko-haram-shehu-wants-action-on-oil-exploration-along-chad-basin/ I am suprised at this comments by a highly placed traditional ruler like the Shehu of Borno for this comments. I wish to point out the following fallacies; 1. Borno State is not the only State facing Youth employment and poverty. Why have the youths in those State not resorted to bombing and suicide missions. 2. Fasting and prayers would not solve the Boko Haram issue, because it is purely political. So no one should waste time fasting. If the society and the political office holder cannot assist the security agencies in combating this menace, I guess it would live and stay with us for a longer time. 3. If Boko Harm is caused by poverty and unemployment, was it caused by Christian or non idigenes or other citizens of the state that are being slaughtered everyday? Why no attack the governors and leaders that have mismanaged the state funds over the years; why attack churches. 4. Is the Shehu using Boko Haram is a bargaining tool for the continuous Oil exploration in the Chad Basin? Oil Exploration is no cheap venture and it has been going on for years in the Chad basin, so the advent of Boko Harm would not suddenly increase the rate of exploration activity. On the other hand if the Shehu owns a multinational company would he be willing to mobilise to location and send his staff to work in a environment where their life would not be guaranteed to an extent. We know there are risk associated with working in Oil field locations; but you avoid the ones you know are avoidable. Still there are more questions begging for answers. This boko haram stuff have become like the proverbial "THE MORE YOU LOOK THE LESS YOU SEE" |
Wishing them the best. Especially Aki and Paw Paw. They are living examples to show that one can overcome disability and stigmatization to be come successful. |
The truth is that we expect too much from the Police. How many of us would work under the conditions this guys work are still give their best. Some of these officers have remain in the same rank for up to 6 years. |
They are sounding like the present oil belongs to the state only. If there is oil there then the DPR (Department of Petroleum Resources) would have to issue either Oil Mineral Lease (OML) or Oil Prospecting Lease (OPL). Any company prospecting there would be a joint venture with Nigeria National Petroleum corporate (NNPC which represent the Federal Government interest in all Joint ventures in the Oil Sector). Then the drilling and capping of the well if it exist in commercial quantities. The the possibility of building a refinery or pumping the crude to Kaduna Refinery. The positives here is that it would lead to development in the state and also Babagida Aliyu (the Gorvenor) would stop agitating for a cut in the 13% derivation paid to Niger Delta State. But they should be prepared for such issues like environmental degradation, because the Nupe people that live around the Bida axis are mainly agrarian, they should be ready to say bye to some of the agricultural lands. The attendant issues of oil spillage, settlements to chief and youths that may spring up if not well management. All the same I wish niger state the best. |
From the write up, it is stated that the 500K is to cover burial expenses and other immediate needs; but we all know that in Nigeria that is where it would end on the part of the state government; they can always claim that the officer are men of the federal police. On the part of the federal Government and the force Headquarters, i dont see them giving the family more that 2 million naira. Now the question to ask is this; how do we value our police men. Those alive would see this acts and you still expect them to risk their life for others knowing that when they die what would be given to their family would not be enough to see their family and their children through school. Lets do a realistic check, if you are the one and you realise that the government only values your life to the tune of 5million only, would you be willing to take a bullet in the name of fighting crime for such a society; especially when you know that militants are paid million and that most politicians buy cars wort millions for their girls friends and the common man on the street hates you as much as the devil and you dont have enough training and equipments to fight crime. Mind you I am not a policeman. I am just being realistic |
The Ogun State Government on Wednesday gave the family members of the five policemen killed by armed robbers in the Abeokuta and Ibafo areas of state early this week N2.5m.Source: http://www.punchng.com/news/ogun-gives-families-of-slain-policemen-n2-5m/ I believe we expect too much from our Policemen. A man looses his life in the line of duty and the family gets 500k only from state government. They don't have insurance cover and other death benefits. I am very sure it would take almost forever for the Police Pensions office to pay their pension and gratuity to their family. Now tell me how would others still in service react next time there is a distress call or a robbery incident. |
Lets see how this drama plays out. It is like a faction of Afenifere have some beaf with Tinubu |
Damaging this buses makes their case worse off. The should have just gone a peaceful protest. Furthermore, the Okada business has led to to the influx of a lot of unwanted persons in Lagos. People that should doing other skilled based jobs in states and in other parts of the country. A lot of hausa chaps from parts of the country are now in Lagos doing Okada business when they should be engaged in other issue. Please note that i am not denying the fact that the ban would cause a lot of hardship for commuters; but that is not enough reason for those affected to start vandalizing government properties. |
Guinea Bissau has been plagued by coups and counter coups. it is time they start thinking differently. |
When anything bad happens now people would blame it of President Goodluck Jonathan, Satan or on other imaginary beings. Greediness is the bane of our society. How much fuel is worth risking one's life for. The maximum capacity of a tanker is 33,000 litres how many of that would a single person scoop in a situation like this. I bet you in the next few minutes, the number of persons there would have tripled. Even without the emergency services being called, are people so stupid that they did not know that scoping fuel is a suicide mission. |
bros, you did not put your number. Kindly post your number or send it as SMS to 08133118050 so dat we can talk. i am a serious buyer |
muktar mtt: Abby Bahago wrote this:; "I have been thinking about those Christian Terrorists who hacked those four UniPort students to death and all I can think of is 'is this what dey r taught every other sunday? If u r a Christian reading this I know u will b angry and say 'this is nonsense!. Really? Is it really nonsense? Those Aluu Youths killed those boys in cold blood, and since d news has been making waves I haven't heard anyone say O dey r christianist! But after d Mubi killings d tabloids kept on saying 'Islamists' dey r boko haram members. I don't care if dey r boko haram members, but I care a lot if u call dem Islamists. Because some wicked people go on rampage killing others doesn't mean their religion asked dem to. If u wouldn't call those Aluu youths Christianists or attribute their gruesome act to christianity then please don't judge Islam by d activities of some mad people desperate for power and control. If u really believe those Aluu youths did what dey did because, as individuals their hearts r wicked, then u also have to believe dat individually d heart of d boko haram members r wicked. Islam doesn't preach terrorism, No it doesn't. The Prophet of Islam had Jewish neighbours dat he would visit when ever dey fell sick and even his uncle who contributed so much to d course of Islam was neva a muslim. Islam teaches good neighbourliness and d Prophet(Peace b upon Him) is reported to have said 'he is not a muslim he whom his neighbour is not free from his wickedness(tongue) 'he is not a muslim he who does not love for his neighbour what he loves for himself 'he is not a muslim he who's neighbour goes to bed hungry while he's got plenty'. Please study Islam and not d attitude of some crazy people who happen to be muslims. Thanks.please broadcast so as to tell d world that islam is peace..." If you agree with this share. The difference is that the Aluu youths did not claim they were fighting for God or Christ or claimed that they were directed to carry out their action because they were obeying a biblical injunction or advancing the cause of Christianity. the issue with islamist is that they claim to be acting for Allah. Another point to consider is the prevalence rate. How often do you hear of this kind of act being perpetrated by Christians. Yet virtually every (almost) state in Northern Nigeria have experienced one form of religious influenced crisis or the other that have led to the death of hundreds of Nigerians. I wish to also remind you of the fact that Christian condemned the actions of the Aluu youths in no small measures unlike the case of islamist where the friends would want to make up excuses for their actions. Finally you may also heard or read that the Chief of Aluu is a moslem and he infact presided over their judgement and sentencing. |
proO1: Funny how you skipped the MOST important lesson. When your parents labour hand to send you to school, the least you can do is face your studies peacefully and ensure you graduate in one piece with decent grades. Simple. Do NOT go to school to join cults or prance around 'forming' hard man' all over the place. Chances are that you might get unlucky and meet your waterloo. Frankly I wouldn't waste my sympathy for any fool that puts himself in such a situation, irrespective of whatever cruel fate befalls him.Every youth should adhere to the above and he/she would live long. Mind the kinds of friends you keep. If one of the 4 students have enough common sense to know that you dont go for a debt drive in the night, they would be alife by now. |
Billyonaire: Am all for ban of Okada. So many people are now lazy cos of quick bucks. Okada riding makes young men not to seek skills.aGREED |
jchime: How i wish the flood drowns any of his relations probably the mumThe likes of the Aluu killers. |
I thought the tokunbo of this type of car no longer exist |
After studying Electrical Engr, a cousin of mine went for masters at ukraine, only to discover that Elect. Engr was being thought in the native ukraine language. He spent extra yr and cash enrolling for ukraine lang, this didnt work out as he could only master the basics of it: 'come and eat', 'go to bed' etc. He was soo frustrated that he had to opt for Electronics, which was taught in English. Nigeria's education system is nothing compared to most of this called developingI keep wondering why we believe that anything Nigeria is inferior to anything western. It is agreed that the standard of education in our tertiary institutions may be falling but we must admit that some of our schools are okay and better than some of the schools some folks attend out there in name of attending a foreign university. |
