Jobs/VacanciesRe: Please,ejoor,biko,dun Allah ,mbok Help A Sister.i Need A Job by kay9(m): 2:16pm On Jul 16, 2012
@all,
If u have the money, go for ACCREDITED training courses and give yourself an edge. (Accredited = the training firm is certified to conduct that training AND gives certification after u're through). If u have LOTS of money and did an engr/science course, check NEXT training courses; they train Schlumberger employees. Or better still go to U.k and do an Masters/MBA.
If your parents know people/are connected, cry and go on hunger-fasting till they start bugging all their associates to help u.
If u do NOT have money AND your parents dont know anyone, then haul your backside to Lagos, polish your shoes and prepare to walk the streets. It will be hard, and i'm not kidding.
Call ALL your friends and share job related info. Gate-crash EVERY job test u hear about - trust me, i got my first job from a gate-crash. Register online for job alerts and post your cv at ANY site that accepts. Do NOT give ANYBODY a penny; if they ask for money, its a fraud. Then buy a laptop and keep yourself busy cos its gonna get booooorrring.
Lastly, become born-again (i'm serious o!) and pray hard. LUCK is all u need, and that's what i wish y'all. smiley

So, I choose to disagree with the information presented here. My Opinion, deal with it. How e take concern you? And what's with the nastiness?

Abeg just drex back, make you nor pour spit for my body.
I dunno about being ''hard and tough'' but i'm sorry u think my comment nasty; that line about jumping into the lagoon wasnt too barbed na... wink

@efemena, so your only argument against the OP's reported 'research' is your OWN experience? As in, since YOUR parents and YOUR grandparents dont look alike, it means ALL married couples, no matter the years of marriage, do NOT and will NEVER look alike, abi?
Mmm... Well, this might shock u babygurl so try and assimilate it slowly, ok? THE WORLD DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND U. Kapish?
-
I rly couldnt care less whatever reasons OP gives to explain the said resemblance, but c'mon if u wana shoot down his supposedly ''weak'' arguments, u'd better have some good ones urself!
-
Oh and while we'r at it, my parents do look alike, so umm... u might wana dive into the lagoon. grin tongue

But seriously cindy, if everyone commenting here says to go ahead with the marriage, what then? The dude takes the advice?
My point is, i think anyone who's seriously considering making a life-changing decision based on advices he/she received on a PUBLIC forum is, i dunno, dont evn know what to call that person grin
Its one thing to ask NLers 'umm, anyone know where best to buy land' or 'where to find a good dentist'... But ''should i MARRY so-so person'?? Come on...

Good. cheesy cheesy
Not really. Moderate feminists are actually what this world needs (by the way u're not one tongue ). What i do have an issue is ''fake'' feminism - switching between Ms. Amazon and Damsel-in-Distress as the situation suits.
