First of all thanks for sharing wiv d house, Just like deniyor stated, every1 is a potential immigrant mehn, so I don't blame them for doing what they do. Honestly on my own terms if Nigeria had all these facilities n gr8 opportunties we wunt hav to seek for further studies abroad, the global exposure wld be wonderful to experience. Yes itz by submitting the reciept, it will take like 5business dayz tops to get to Canada, mail the school to issue u a receipt den u print it and send along with other documents ur submitting bak to the embassy, plz kindly share wiv d house documents u package for ur cousin or brother. Thanks

Also @dosumu matilda wateva ur case maybe, for the fact that u have already submitted; put it in the hands of God, there's nuffin God can't do and stop listening to any negative commentz, some of them mean no harm too so u cld also constructively look at wat they said and use it as a tool to help other wen u get ur TRV by God's grace. dosunmu matilda: @kayce43 have u already gotten ur visa? i am still awaiting medical call up very soon by the grace of God,i also paid my full tuition fee but i was getting negative talk from some ppl dat its not good to pay tuition fee cos they will think one is too desperate but i disagree with that cos i think if the fees is available its better to pay then running around after doing medicals to pay d sv]ch fees anyway may God have his way sha am hoping for the best for us a yll

am still waiting brv, it depends, in my case my school gave me a deadline to pay or i risk loosing my admission; it was clearly stated on my admission letter and also there is a 100 percent refund policy so dtz y my pple were not shaking about paying the whole thing.I think wat pple were trying to say is dat pple shld not pay to impress CDHC cept u hav a case like mine. Hope this helps.

Itz a wonderful analysis, but I agree with spencer on ds one...cus itz not every parent dat can afford the resources to take care of some1 in canada, wat happens to those who hav a geunine sponsor that's not dia parents, so itz God's favour, if he wants u to get it u'll get it no two wayz about it, so at those who dint use dia parentz as sponsors just package well, do all u can to show proof and convince the VO that ur sponsor is willing and capable. In my case, we even paid the whole tuition for my program to show seriousness. Let God's will be done. Anyone can get the visa. Itz simply God.

Noswaa: I am once an applicant for september entry,many people who submitted between march,april,may,june and july applicants were called for medicals after three weeks.But that is for that time not now,you can see things have changed now

@Ollami , I would suggest u confirm frm ur admissions office what amount exactly u shld pay to be on d safe side with CDHC and also go to ur bank they'll guide u on how u can make payments to canada, datz wat I did.

goddeymydear: Please help me praise the Lord. This is a miracle - I was already getting worrisome. Just checked my status now and it has changed to "our application has been assessed by the Canadian High Commission/Consulate General of Canada and is being returned to the centre where you applied". I take it as my trv is ready!

I won't be able to make it to VAC until tommorrow morning, please pray its my TRV and ill definately keep u guys posted!

@All by this time last year, if u follow prt 2 of the travelling to canada thread u wld see people were being called for medicals by ending of October and beginning of November, I pray the same happens to us this year. Just thought I might be of help to prospective Applicant who would like to apply for a MASTER degree programme in Finland. The application period will start in 1st of December 2012 to January 2013, And if you would like to apply and need genuine information, kindly post it here and I will get back to you.

Note that studying in Finland is entirely free, from the online application till when you are accepted and there are no tuition fee thereafter. Degrees from Finland are highly respected worldwide and they have some of the world best university that features in the top hundred universities every year e.g. university of helsinki, Aalto university, helsinki university of technology etc.

Many international organisation has rated Finnish educational system as the best in the world including WEF (world economic forum). Finland is also a Schengen country, which gives you an advantages to travel around Europe visa free.

I did everything myself when I was applying to come here recently, and it was successful, and I would like to share some info to genuine applicant who wish to apply in the upcoming application period.

you can visit www.universityadmissions.fi to get acquainted on how to apply and the school requirement on each courses, its very easy and straight forward.

For undergraduate student, I might not be able to help because Nigerian applicant would be invited to Finland instead of Ghana (of which you cant get a visa to come for exam, its written boldly on the Finnish embassy website in Abuja), but if you live in another schengen country, or has a passport with visa free to to the schengen states, then I might help, but familiarize yourself with the info on these page first

Master degree are the easiest, without the need for any entrance exam, gmat, SAT etc.
