Guy Ritchie in the kitchen. A Statham + Aubrey Plaza combo. Definitely have to see this.

I started Naruto over 12 years ago...and it's one simple and straight forward story...just start from episode 1 or season 1...

Star Wars or Star Trek...(I don't even know the difference)
These ones have been going on for so many years with a million different shows and movies...

When I see a new Star Wars/ Star Trek show...I don't know where to start so I just give up

You should probably start from knowing the difference between Star Wars and Star Trek.

Baddestguyp:
how did you guys get into the Star Wars franchise...?

Something that is probably 50+ years old

How did you get into Naruto...?

Something that is 20+ years old.

This weekend just got busier.

FINALLY!! A release date for Ted Lasso S3. Peak returns

ValeeLove:
the most anticipated movie in my book based on every trailer I viewed last year. I'm not surprised everyone's liking it. They got Kang, Killmonger and Valkarie in one film, it definately will succeed.

The multiverse keeps expanding

samistry:
What's with Hollywood replacing redheads with black actors?

It's the redhead erasure that's subtly been going on for a while

Sad Sad...Hoping and wishing your Dad continue to find rest,my man.

She "did" act and it was good. it was a lot less than her usual "eccentric" persona.

abduleez1:
Sad..... R.I. Power to your Oldman.

She was really lauded by lots of critics back then for the movie. I haven't yet seen the film but the general acclaim she got after made me stop judging her craft with just a glance.

Thanks guys.

Guess I'll check the movie out.

The Farewell (2019)

Heartwarming... Emotional.... Heartbreaking!

Lulu Wang's second directorial feature is a peak tragi-comedy that has made A24 a unicorn in the Indie movie lore.

A tale of love and loss about a Chinese family that learns that their grandmother has less time to live after a terminal cancer diagnosis, with the family keeping it from her and planning a hastily wedding for the whole family to spend the last few moments with her, with grandma in the dark all through. Balli played by Awkwafina, who held a special bond with her grandmother is not so down with the idea, seeing her grandmother happy to see the whole family but totally in the dark that her days are numbered.

The Farewell broke me, as it progressed to it's inevitable ending, i related with it more heavily, it got me reminiscing about when my dad passed on, after the doctors seemingly gave him a clean bill of health, i was glad i had more time with the man, only for me to be planning his funeral less than 2 months later...things left undone....words left unspoken...him gone in the cold abyss of death.

An A24 classic through and through. It is incredible how heartbreaking and emotional this movie was whilst been ridiculously heartwarming...

Hold your loved ones , you never want to lose them.

This made me remember my dad too. Watching him deathly sick was worse than the experience of his eventual passing.

Back to topic, did Awkafina actually act here? Or was she just playing another version of herself?

MAPPA x Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop) cooking a short movie. Inject it inna me veins

Ok so they made the best character the main character.

Only way to ensure an explosive reception.

Miracood2:
The nudity was what got me glued.

I must tell u that anime makers are lowkey pervs.

They make emphasis on boobs in most of the anime I've watched.

Here for Gorilla Cyclops with the big witchy hat all day

Naijatask:
Finally! The only anime I've been anticipating so far!.

I stopped watching AOT at s3, so nothing concern me with the new season

This is a spin-off focused on Megumin though, just so you're aware.

Baddestguyp:
Asian dominatrix are the best tho...

Like Mummy Mikasa or Vice-president in Prison School

Meiko is in a class of her own, pun most definitely intended.

GloriousGbola:
Watching my son playing days gone. Maybe we will start our own channel Dadbod reviews

"This is not a review of Days Gone. This is a review about your dad watching you play Days Gone."

CoolUsername:
You have to take the IQ of the average Naruto fan into account.

They still manage to go below your expectations.

NoonMasamune:
So you mean to tell me being the reincarnation of a god child and being from a race of super powerful aliens does not count as genetics? GTFO with this comparison. Also we literally see tanjiro ending up in the hospital and training in every single arc!

Folks stay trying to slip Naruto into team hardwork everytime. He's a privileged, trust fund child of destiny. And that's OK. Don't know why they want to pretend otherwise.

abduleez1:
Apocalypse Now.... 7.5/10

Mehn, 3 solid hours of grueling watch. It's an interesting watch about the weariness of war and it's dangerous consequences over time.

Marlon Brando does well to portray the mystical Colonel gone insane. It was gritty, dark and gloomy.
Oh, the horror. 🙃

Still, I prefer Platoon (1986) to it.

Same here. They lost me in the 3rd act. Even though I love how all 3 acts feel like you're watching different movies. Sometimes I remember something from one part of the movie and I'm like "wait, this was also in Apocalypse Now?".
I think I'll put Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket over Platoon and Apocalypse.

Trivia: Did you recognize a VERY young Laurence Fishburne in the movie?

CoolUsername:
I mean, Jeff Bezos kinda has a point there.

Now I can't use it

deltateam:
I watched the preview, it looked interesting.

I am downloading it already.

Enjoy
