What I don't get about this woke series, are the doing this to win award? is it a layed out rule for the entrainment?industry especially in America, or it is a personal stuff?.

Using succession as a case study, I don't think I have seen any LGBTV stuff from season 1 to the current season ( I stand to be corrected). Secondly, all the major casts are white. Even with this they always gulp the awards at the Emmys.

Is there something I am omitting because I don't understand.

Sometimes, it's an LGBTQIA+ and/or minority creator drawing inspiration from their lived experience.
Other times, it's pandering or virtue signaling from the company/studio.

Yes, they are. What you are saying then is that an action comedy where a crime was committed isn’t a crime movie because it’s an action movie. But does being an action comedy movie stop it from being a crime movie too? Movie Studios might tag it as just action comedy, but that doesn’t stop it from being a crime movie.

For instance, 21 jump street movie was tagged only as the action comedy genre on rotten tomatoes. Whereas, it has elements of crime. The same way gangs of New York was tagged as history, drama on rotten tomatoes; and history, drama, crime on metacritic. Whereas, the storyline involves gangs.

Almost every action movie becomes a crime movie, as well, automatically going by your perspective. Cos there's almost no action movie where a crime is not committed.
The Home Alone series become a crime series because they feature breaking-and-entering crimes.
Sudden Death becomes a sports movie because the events take place during a hockey match.
This is a completely wrong way to handle genre and theme labelling of a story.

Gangs of New York revolves mainly around the confrontations and interactions between New York gangs with Amsterdam and Bill's stories as the main plot. The gang activities are in the foreground of the storytelling, not in the background.

You are damn right. Both franchise have the gang elements in them. Batman had to fight the league of shadows in Batman begins and dark knight rises. In the dark knight, if I could remember, there were some gangs who were tired of Batman and had to hire jokers service to end him. I’m sure James Bond had to deal with some gangs in some of the movies in James Bond franchise.

Having gang elements does not make a movie a gang movie. By that definition, every movie that has ever featured a gang in any capacity is a gang movie.

This people want to argue to argument sake jare. John wick is a gang movie. A simple definition of gang proves it. But let them enjoy their back and forth.

Guess The Dark Knight trilogy and some James Bond movies are gang movies too, then.

You're most likely a fan of the Tokyo Ghoul manga. Most Tokyo Ghoul anime-only fans insist that S3 & S4 weren't bad and manga fans are just overreacting or hating.

Same way Last Airbender fans will tell you Korra is bad while TloK fans will say otherwise.

warrior is a sports film. Gangs of London is British so it doesn't count, now as for John Wick, I don't see it as gang related.

If you want gang related movie, you should check American Gangster, The Godfather, the last don etc. Beside, I didn't remember anybody fighting Kung Fu in John Wick.

The Rey x Bunny vs Judgement Day tag match at Rico was basic a foregone conclusion at mania and I'm totally happy to see it happen. Bunny has delivered in all his ring appearances, all 2 of them. And I Iook forward to see him increasing his stock as the best celebrity wrestler on his home turf.
