What airline offers are available? Expected cost. Etc. That kind of stuff. Thanks in anticipation.Air France, KLM, Continental and Lufthansa, check the prices on their official websites and then compare with prices on www.kayak.com . **avoid mixing different airlines on your itinerary** |
Victory for the democrats. Waiting for the 2nd action film for today - voting on the Eric Holder contempt charge. Rand Paul says The supreme court decided incorrectly, funny their decision wasn't 'incorrect' when the ruling went their way with the Florida votes and Citizens united. |
kcluv2men: okay, thanks so much. I will try my best. Do you know of any university that exempts Nigerians from TOEFL that i can apply toI hear a lot of people here looking for schools that waive TOEFL and other standardized tests, should this be the most important basis for your choice of a school ? No, it shouldn't. These tests are not too difficult and you don't want to handicap yourself in the future by not taking it. You never know when it will come in handy; a school may waive it for you now but @ some point it will be needed; some people have experienced denial which was traced back to the missing test, some others didn't take it and got their visas but you never know what your case will be. In my first year of grad school, we had a lot of scholarships for int'l students that requested for TOEFL and GRE scores. These opportunities don't come up all the time and you don't want to render urself ineligible when a golden one comes around. kcluv2men: I will, I have a list already. My TOEFL will expire in August so I don't wanna risk it;That's why I am looking for such schools.Does the state you pick affect your visa because someone told me that if your school is reknown and located in a city or state with hoigh living standard, you have an advantage. If you are now able to defend your genuinty inwanting to study in the US.Gboyega, what uni are u in and where are you...Still trying to catch up with the part1 of the thread o..No vex. Thanks so much. You have a lot of time until August, you can decide on schools you wish to apply to and send them your score now. If they get it before it expires then its not your problem anymore, its valid. |
1025: @kay dee, So if i write with eleganza blue biro, then I'm a Chelshit fan. . I don't know what your idea of a "die hard fan" is but jumping around from club to club (like you've been doing) doesn't describe it so my initial assumption about you remains valid. The day i get tired of supporting Arsenal is the day i switch to watching horse racing.1025: ok, i will only advise u ppl not to kill anyone in your frustrations. powers grow and powers dry. manure never believed that another team can come up in manchester to the extent they called our own manure noisy neighbours. this explains the source of your inspiration; i'll leave you to keep wallowing in your rastafarian fantasies . |
it's 50 a.k.a ferrari f50 . 6 shots couldn't drop you, you took it and smiled, an auto crash wouldnt either, okay he's out of the hospital already.azimibraun: Bleep u for using d name of d legendary Nas in vain. Wtf! 50 aint no wia near Nas dude, nt even d don catagina.. Sympathise wif fity and bounce. No bad blood fity jst sm idiot tryin 2 mix u up wif shit. U wll b cool dude in no time. @ some point I disliked him for that too, but you've just gotta love this guy, either he makes a fool of himself about something or he cooks up beef from nowhere when everything seems to be calm . Neva a dull moment wit fiddy . |
1025: @kazekage, I just wasted my precious time reading this ur meaningless mini-epistle. I'm not saying you shouldn't visit the Arsenal website, comment or even crack one of ur not-so-funny jokes about Arsenal's business. . I sometimes take a peek into the Chelsea, Manure and even Manshitty websites and threads and say what I want but I have never referred to their business as 'ours' or 'we'. Now i suspect u are an "anywhere belle face" fan, you choose which club to support on the basis of who's doing well, I know your type, you'll be a shitty fan next season.
The part in bold is rubbish. I'm sure you know that
free the guy let him keep running around like a promiscuous fan. |
Just wondering. . . . . What was the main problem with this team last season? I mean in what areas were we lacking. Definitely not in attack, we had no problem scoring goals. I think it was mostly in midfield (creatively) and i hope AW has plans to address that area too. |
1025: @kazekage1, Define 'we' ![]() |
Is Arshavin coming back ? I'll like to see him in Arsenal colours again. |
Fresh Prince of Bellaire, Family matters (with Steve Urkel); Cosby Show, Jamie foxx show. (and in the early 2000s "my wife and kids" ) |

Adido: He is not saying that Zenith bank favors only Agbor guys, he is saying that Agbor guys are the majority in the bank's branches. This I know to be true as I worked with Zenith bank. This does not mean that Zenith bank does not employ anyone else. Please read statements carefully before you attack them. Maybe I still don't understand him, his statement got my brain a bit confused because if Zenith favours only Agbor guys ahead of people from other parts of Delta state, then people from other parts of Delta state will come before people from other parts of Nigeria ; I also worked in ZB for a good number of years and I didn't notice "a majority of Agbor guys" in my office or unit. floriana: Zenith Bank does not favour all Deltans o. It favours only Deltans from Agbor. Number one and two in the bank currently are from Agbor. Top management is also heavily populated by Agbor people. Jim Ovia is an illustrious son of Agbor town. jp philips: it will take you decades to realize how far Nepotism has ruined this nation, who told you there are no jobs? and why are people unemployed? where does the job appear from when a chairman makes a call? I'm not saying it doesn't happen @ all, of course it does and I have witnessed it, maybe I haven't realized how 'bad' it is because there's something I'm missing out, on the other hand, it could be that people already have their minds wrongly set on the notion that there 'must' be a 'connection" or tribal influence to cross the hurdle . I just think this tribe thing is getting into people's head and some people give up without even trying. I worked in 2 of those institutions in the past and I got in with no connection or ethnic affiliations; I saw people come in the same way i did and some others just sat back without trying, asking how we did it or who we knew. Now @OP may not even bother to apply to some banks because he heard they don't favour his tribe and that will be an opportunity lost. People in general are getting carried away by thinking there is tribal bias in everything and everywhere; I once had a guy (from my tribe) come into my office (in a bank) and the 1st question he asked me was how come most of the people in my office were from the opposite tribe and i told him i hadn't noticed that, out of curiosity, I went back to check and he was actually wrong. I wonder why people walk around with thoughts of "tribe this, tribe that" constantly on their minds, abeg free your minds of that ish and get on with ur hustle. |
Balo to take first. |
In the spirit of bipartisanship, members of different political parties can work together, the different political parties are not @ war with each other. |

cap28: The US govt are gradually turning nigeria into a pariah state by using negative propaganda to scare people away from the country. This will have a very negative effect on nigeria's international standing - the intention of the US is to isolate and cripple nigeria economically in order to give them full control over our collective destinies.Negative propaganda to scare people away ? ? I don't think so. Are you saying that Nigeria is safe ? If you were a foreigner and with the spate of bombings in the news everyday, will you have Nigeria on your list of vacation destinations or a place you want to have a business investment? I think you're pushing your conspiracy theories too far. |
No surprise !!! Even Nigerians don't feel safe in Nigeria and Abati will come and tell us to go about our normal businesses, that everything is okay. |
Drone strikes? totally unnecessary if you ask me, and maybe ineffective because the death toll from collateral damage will far outweigh the success that will be achieved (if any) besides I doubt the US will want to get involved at that level as Boko hasn't been a direct threat to them. |

publisher: I have been made to understand that in order to increase your chances of getting a good job in certain Nigerian banks, you must belong to the right ethnic group. Most likely false. I know the oil and gas companies work with the quota system which they declare openly, but I seriously doubt it is the same for other institutions. That you must be connected or come from a certain ethnic group to get employed in an organization is a misleading impression. It may be the case in some instances but more often than not, people walk in based on merit. publisher: I have been made to understand that in order to increase your chances of getting a good job in certain Nigerian banks, you must belong to the right ethnic group. I hope you don't hinder your chances yourself back because of this impression. Asking for State of origin, LGA and religion is merely for statistical and demographic purposes. |

michelin89: You must have a very lively and happy social life.. . . . more like a busy one. That I know them all doesn't mean, i see them like everyday; a lot of them are good and close friends from way back and people i know from all the different schools i attended, places i worked and a bunch of relatives. |
