debosky:Iwu's removal is water off a duck's back. Yet another Pdp's lackey will be installed and we are back to square one. The whole political system is incredibly shackled by too much of power in the centre. As long as PDP and this jeun s'apo politicians reign supreme, this political labyrinth will continue. Imagine OBJ having a say as per SA's nationwide election and his party can't stage a near-perfect election in a state. It is A SHAME REALLY |
Myles P= Jaundiced extreme opinions. Reading most of his articles you can simply decipher that he is a twerp and a tosser. Ade could be excruciatingly annoying sometimes BUT calling him a donkey is being overtly expressive. Ade's presence and experience is needed and no new tactical rigmarole can obliterate his contributions thus far. He is the ONLY STRIKER in Arsenal's line up that can play as a sole attacker in our 4-5-1 formation and that in itself is a plus. |

mukina2:Sadly he MAY not be.He is injured. On the players returning from injury…http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/-we-enjoy-the-way-we-play-and-love-the-game- |
Dr Kitaun:Oh not again Kit ![]() AW threw away last week's game against Chelsea, and no reason can be cogent and germane enough IMO ![]() As if the Chelsea has not played enough matches too,and contrary to general belief, that team(Chelsea) lacks depth. We are due for any type of laurel and it beats me hollow how Wenger bottled it in the 11th hour ![]() I hope he rest the following players and replace them with those in brackets for tommorow's game;Walcott(Eboue) ,Nasri(Arshavin),Fab,Song,(Diaby and Denilson)and Toure(Djorou) so we can be up to it against United. This is our ONLY hope and we will resist any form of gaffe ![]() |
Jairzinho:What he meant is that if Liverpool had been up to the scratch they wouldn't be on the look-out for Man U's loss to stay atop the EPL. ![]() Arsenal threw away 2goals lead against Spurs and Villa(though they did not lose these matches) means Arsenal's crappy? ![]() Dude,it is FOOTBALL and like cookie, you just do not know where it is going to crack. ![]() |
Cristalz:I wonder why United is yet to change it's free-kick taker ![]() Evra is not at his best IMO.He's been dire against the combo of Lennon and Corluka |
nateevs:It is not uhuru yet Nateevs ![]() Ronaldo's free-kicks have been ridiculous so far and what a great SAVE by Gomez |
Flam-ster talked about a "bond" and YET decided to leave;maybe the bond does not matter to him ![]() A one season wonder who talks from both side of the mouth is not what i want back in the squad. If Song's improvement can continue the way it is,then i think there should be less talk about "Cashley's brother from another mother". That's by the way,a piece of news on injuries here: Arsenal may welcome back Manuel Almunia, Johan Djourou and Emmanuel Adebayor for the visit of Middlesbrough on Sunday.http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/almunia-djourou-and-adebayor-close-to-return I wonder why Tomas is still mentioned though,or is any one out there still relating him with this season? ![]() My major worry though for the UCL is Gibbs, can he cope with C.Ronaldo? Kemouche:I doubt that much,he's only letting you know teh appropriate thread to post your inquiry ![]() |
mukina2: ![]() |
mukina2:Muki and Silvestre. It is easier for a camel to pass through a needle's eye than Muki loving the oblong-shaped head twerp ![]() But please do not wish him injured,or else,it is gonna be Song to CB and that will be a MASSIVE loss in the middle. Muki, will u loff Silvestre if he scores against em scummies on the 29th? ![]() |
I am not sure what to term this news;good or bad ![]() [ b]Double injury blow for Unitedhttp://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5224389,00.html I am sure Crizzle like most Man u fans will be happy with this BUT Nasri wouldn't be damn, how i wish it's Rooney,Vida and ronnie out for 5 weeks ![]() |
Great track indeed! One of my top 20 track of all time! |
Imehnathan:Jigga and God's son sounds alike? ![]() These 2 cats are as dis-similar as Pope and King Fahd.But then,maybe i am wrong ![]() |
Crizzle, What line of argument or statement led to: Cristalz: ![]() |
Gaski how far? So you feeling Sage init? Well name of artiste is Sage and track's name is "i'll make you dance". Sage is a poet and was featured by Mode 9 in EPU(One amongst many) album. |
Abegii enough with the Bendtner bashing. At least he scored a nice goal.Even though it didn't count,it will make a MOTD'S highlight ![]() There was little he could do as a lone striker and he is not carved for such a role,he thrives more playing alongside Vela and Edu. Even if he's shitty in front of goal, you can't fault his effort. ![]() |
debosky:Same here Debo. And i agree with you as per Gibbs too, dude need composture which i am sure will come with constant playing time. @Sauron Ever thought of taking a hype-man job for a politician in Nigeria ? ![]() |
I do not know why y'all are quick to castigate Silvestre but let Sagna and Toure off the hook ![]() This is a freak of a game and it doesn't happen all the time.Heck,Liverpool conceeded 4 goals too ![]() |
Arshavin > Ribery + Messi + Kaka + Ronaldo.
Tongue in cheek right? Thought you said he would have been marked out by Ivanovic on Saturday? BTW,I keep asking myself how this dude was never in the radar till his "old age" ![]() He's such a CLASS act! ![]() |
@Presido and criz OK,maybe the title race is still OPEN is a better choice of word, and isn't it still alive and up for grabs between the 2 teams vying for it? Of course Arsenal is not in the mix but we are a FACTOR in who wins the EPL.May not be a trophy but it is an index that Ferguson,Benitez and maybe Hiddink know quite well. That been said,we have done you peeps at Oldtrashford a great favour tonight,y'all mind "selling" the match on the 29th? ![]() @Gooners When will Wenger discover that playing Cesc upfront as against his normal CM role is detrimental to the dude's game? ![]() Also Denilson should be allowed to rest as he seems too jaded to be part of this run in ![]() Still loving my team,we are the ARSENAL. ![]() |
![]() The title race is still ALIVE! Arshavin! What a player.Predatory, clinical and full of guile.Exactly what we missed at the weekend. This night's performance vindicated the outcry and outrage that followed his non-inclusion against Chelsea from the get-go. One point from Anfield is NOT a bad result.Whatever way it comes ![]() |
Any one seen the movie Gremlins?or Mac and me? |
Plus the embezzled, the cornered and the siphoned? ![]() |

Why can't y'all spastics get y'all shit together. Eduardo is out. . . . . .Ade is out . . . . . .Van Rapist is out. . . . . .Gallas. . . . .Clichy. . . . .and your fake Eminem. Who is going to lead the line 2mrw?? Bendtner?? Dear me!!!!

We are not counting on you losers to nick points off Liverpool(That was the exact reason Ferguson sacrificed the FA cup by playing his kids). His first team players would be fresh for Pompey on Wednesday. . . . . .Rooney, Ronaldo, Carrick, Giggs and VDS will start. Wenger can lose 0-100 for all we care at OT. . . . . . .If we win all our games, Liverpool will be 4 points below us and we shall win the TITLE. It is in United's hands.
![]() Sauron, I know for once you will be a true GOONER tommorow. Don't hide it man,let it show, you need us more than we need the 3 points. But please Arsene, bungle it as you did on Saturday pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ![]() |
@ Gooners! As per Ade and Persie's injury,it is not as serious as feared by most gooners here: Arsenal will be without Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor for the trip to Liverpool on Tuesday. For the match tommorow,i really wish we can be defeated for once ![]() Anything to make the scummies lose the prem really ![]() |
Not only was Wenger's formation ludicrous yesterday, the dramatis persona he decided to feature in his excruciatingly dire formation were laughable. Diaby and Denilson? At least one of those could have sat out for an in-form Song. What about the late substitution when it was obvious the game needed a lift when it was obvious we recoiled into our shell after Theo's goal?
He wasn't dire when y'all dispatched Villareal with ease, was he?
? I want to see the hunger, panache, passion and vision with which we dispatched Villareal in ALL our matches. Wenger should have revved the team on rather than soft-pedal as he did with his formation at Wembley. Sauron, how many save did Cech make in that match,?That's so unlike Arsenal How many times have you seen Wenger justify his action, viz a viz team selection in a post-match conference? Yesterday i listened to him do that.To me, it is indicative of a perceived error by him. |
We now know why most of y'all can never manage a football club. . . . . .
We know why most of y'all are nothing but myopic arm-chair analyst
Have a go at Chelsea and pay dearly for it. Arsenal had no strong base to launch their attack from. Had Gallas played things woulda been different. Wenger had to go for the conservative method because he is keeping an eye on the Scousers.
And i tell you again to go back and watch the match. There was no ingenuity or cutting edge to Chelsea's game yesterday and it wasn't because our mid-field was superb. These same Chelsea team just played a match in which Cech's jitters was exposed to the maximum.Chelsea was left psychological drained and we had a chance of having a go at them and exploit a "failing" keeper.Arsenal doesn't play to suit any team.We play our game and that is what made us who we are.
he is keeping an eye on the Scousers
Keeping an eye on the Scousers you say? I never knew our season is hinged on this match?Infact Wenger can now play the rested Arshavin and Song so we can win the EPL ![]() BTW,for once i am gonna be supporting the 'pools on the day.Anything to see y'all lose the prem.
Arshavin woulda been marked out of the game by Ivanovic. I did not see him when he came on. Coming here to clamour for him is hindsight analysis. Playing Ade as a lone striker is not the first time. In the first half of last season when Van Rapist was injured, Ade was deployed as a lone striker and it worked magic.
Sometimes you amaze me with your porously clairvoyant analysis. What is to say Arshavin wouldn't have out-played Ivanovic. And how many minutes did he have on the field yesterday to make an impression? We aint talking about your PS3 game here man
Exactly ma point. . . . . . Wenger's formation helped stifle Chelsea's game but a dreadful goalkeeper was the difference between the 2 teams.
Arsenal just DID NOT turn up on the day due to our unusual formation against a team that pace and passing skill aint their forte.Fabianski's blunder was just a timed bomb ready to explode
Wenger is a wise man.
I know you will say anything to justify you ridiculous posture on the match but this is about the only part of your post i agree with ![]() |
That was because they made it difficult for Arsenal. They squeezed up the space you normally get playing teams who are ready to do tip-tap with you. Essien was breaking up your play like crackers and y'all were out-muscled.
Essien DID NOT out-muscle any one yesterday;the mid-field was not existent. Not with Diaby and Denilson playing. The best option yesterday would have been a Cesc-Song partnership and the Chavs would have been ravaged from the flanks with the presence of a raving Arsh and Walcott.
4-2-3-1 was the best formation Wenger coulda played given the injuries in your defence. Go and watch the game again. He had to play Van Rapist on the wing to help Gibbs. Arsenal failed because they were not good enough. There was nothing Wenger coulda done to arrest that situation.
Surprisingly Gibbs wasn't troubled yesterday throughout. And it wasn't due to RVP's defensive tendecies BUT because Gibs upped his game and Chelsea had no natural winger on that flank. Wenger on watching and noticing that in the first 45 mins could have made a quick tactical volte-face
Fabianski was dire yesterday. . . . .
No one was more dire than Wenger yesterday |
dayokanu:And that was exactly what he meant when he(Oga V) asked ,"did he play"?.More like not wanting to state the obvious.
Nah. . . . . . .It will be down to the loads of medicore players Arsenal currently parade at the Emirates. There's no way any Arsenal team will beat a Chelski side with Cech-Terry-Essien-Lampard-Drogba spine. Arsenal have never beaten a Chelsea side with Drogba and Essien playing(that says a lot). If Song or Eduardo or Henry had played, Arsenal would still have lost. Maybe Chelsea wouldn't have found it as easy as they did last night but the loss was inevitable.
And what is to say we wouldn't have scored and sealed up the match if we've had a go at Chelsea and not play conservatively. With a Cech in post,Wenger had no reason but to play his best attacking option of Arshavin and his best defensive option of Song.Playing Ade alone in front yesterday was suicidal against a stable back 4 like Chelsea's. You can spin it all you want, but there was no ingenuity nor extra-ordinary contributions from the duo you mentioned, especially Drogba.BUT for the goal which was gifted by an expired Silvestre who gave up too easily and a Fabiaski who mis-judged his run, what did Drogba do prior to that? I still feel Wenger allowed the thought of a frail back-line over-played in his mind.Whatever happened to attack is the best form of defence |
Vieira:He aggravated his groin injury. |
