I picked my SA Police clearance certificate last week . I got the Nigerian pcc before i traveled in Abuja.

It is simple to get pcc, either you use alagbon or louis edet, abuja.

If you are using Abuja, Ask of Madam Helen at the Forensics department. She will get it done Asap.

It cost 170 rands in SA and can not be done by proxy. You have to be on ground because your finger prints will be collected.

For SA pcc, i applied june and got it just last week.

Sorry please, I thought SA PCC is donw when you submit your application at VFS in SA.

Crime / "Angel Of Death" Nurse Lucy Letby Guilty Of Murdering Seven Babies by KazikageSama: 7:39pm On Aug 18, 2023
Nurse Lucy Letby guilty of murdering seven babies on neonatal unit in year-long killing spree
The ‘Angel of Death’ nurse wept when the first guilty verdicts were delivered after a nine-month trial

A nurse branded the “Angel of Death” who murdered seven babies and attempted to kill six more in a horrifying poisoning campaign is facing life in prison.

Lucy Letby, 33, “played God” as she stalked the words of the neo-natal unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital, callously injecting air and fluids including insulin and milk into babies in her care between June 2015 and June 2016.

The convictions make Letby the worst child serial killer in modern British history. The government has announced that an independent inquiry will be held into “circumstances behind the murders and attempted murders of babies at Countess of Chester Hospital”.

Police fear she may have killed more during her time as nurse.

Parents were left devastated by the sudden and unexplained deterioration of their child’s health, but trusted Letby implicitly as the nurse who had been apparently providing care in their hour of need.

The finger of suspicion eventually pointed at Letby after a spike in the hospital’s child mortality rate, and investigations by consultants revealed she had been on duty and with access to the babies repeatedly when babies sudden began to collapse.

Some babies survived an attack by Letby but were then targeted again in a determined attempt to end their lives, Manchester crown court heard during her nine-month trial.

In notes found after a raid on Letby’s home, an apparent confession was found, saying: “I AM EVIL I DID THIS”,

A jury found Letby guilty of seven counts of murder and six charges of attempted murder. Jurors were undecided on a further six charges of attempted murder, and she was cleared of one charge of attempted murder.

She will now be sentenced by Mr Justice Goss, and almost certainly faces the prospect of the rest of her life in prison.

Letby broke down in tears when the first verdicts were delivered days ago, which could not be reported on until the end of the trial.

Families of the victims have been in court throughout, while Letby’s parents stopped attending court after the first guilty verdicts were delivered.

Prosecutor Nick Johnson KC said consultants on the neo-natal unit noticed the sharp rise in deaths and went looking for a cause.

“Their concern was that babies who were dying had deteriorated unexpectedly. Not only that, but when babies collapsed they did not respond to appropriate and timely resuscitation”, he said.

“Some other babies who did not die collapsed dramatically but then recovered – their collapses and recoveries defied the normal experience of the treating doctors.”

He said they found “one common denominator” – Letby – who was a “constant malevolent presence when things took a turn for the worse”.

The trial heard harrowing evidence from parents of the babies targeted by Letby, as well as from her colleagues who began to fear that something terrible was happening.

One of the murdered babies’ mothers recalled hearing “horrendous” screams and walking in to find Letby alone in the room with her five-day-old incubated son.

“I walked over to the incubator to see he had blood coming out of his mouth”, she said, but was then told by Letby: “Trust me, I’m a nurse.”

She said Letby blamed the bleeding on a feeding tube rubbing her son’s throat, but less than five hours later the young boy – whose health had been improving after he was born 11-week premature – was declared dead.

“I trusted her. Completely”, said the mother, when asked if she had accepted Letby’s explanation of the bleeding.

Other parents described being hugged and comforted by Letby, their main point of contact on the unit, after she had murdered or attempted to murder their child.
The nurse killed one baby when he was just 24 hours old by injecting him with air, and she tried to kill his twin sister the very next day.

In the notes later found at Letby’s home, she had written: “I don’t deserve to live. I killed them on purpose because I’m not good enough” and added: “I am a horrible evil person.”

Mr Johnson told jurors Letby was “completely out of control” by June 2016, when she attacked three babies on her return from a holiday in Ibiza. Two boys were murdered and she attempted to kill a third boy, the court heard.

She had “got away with so much” by that point that she had the “misplaced confidence that she could pretty much do whatever she wanted”.

Letby remarked to a colleague about one of the boys “he’s not leaving here alive, is he?”, she had texted a friend about going back to work “with a bang”, and the prosecutor said Letby knew what she was planning.

“She was controlling things. She was enjoying what was going on and happily predicting what she knew was going to happen”, he said. “She was in effect playing God.”

Colleagues of Letby raised their suspicions, leading to her being removed from the neo-natal unit in July 2016 as an investigation began.

She was in her pyjamas at home in bed when she was arrested and led away in handcuffs by police, and told the court in her evidence that she was “devastated” to be accused.

“I only ever did my best to care for them – I am there to help and to care, not to hurt”, she insisted.

Originally from Hereford, the court heard Letby studied for her nursing degree at Chester University and had been working as a nurse at the Countess of Chester Hospital since qualifying a few years before the murders.

Her parents, John, 76, and Susan, 62, watched on in court along with some of the victims’ families as Letby gave evidence.

Travel / Seychelles Banned Nigerians Over Bad Image Of Drug-trafficking - VP by KazikageSama: 11:30pm On Jul 14, 2023

Seychelles banned Nigerians over bad image of drug-trafficking, internet fraud: Vice President Ahmed Afif
Nigeria’s drug-trafficking perception spanned many decades, but it was recently amplified after the country elected Bola Tinubu as president despite a history of narcotics dealing.

Vice President Ahmed Afif of Seychelles has confirmed his country’s decision to impose far-reaching restrictions on Nigerians seeking to travel to the West Indian Ocean country.

Mr Afif said his Seychelles immigration authorities had been instructed to permit Nigerians with diplomatic passports and residential permits access into the country. Nigerians seeking to enter Seychelles as tourists or new immigrants have been banned indefinitely, the vice president said, according to Seychelles News Agency.

Mr Afih said his country was able to link Nigerians to numerous criminal activities, especially drug-trafficking and online fraud syndicates.

“We have seen a clear link between this with certain people from Nigeria. In the past two weeks, for example, 13 people coming from Nigeria have been arrested when entering Seychelles because they were carrying drugs into the country,” Mr Afif said per Seychelles News Agency. “In one case, 62 Nigerians who said they were on holiday used false credit cards and the money was never credited to the accounts of these establishments.”

“These establishments have lost money. These people spent free holidays in the country at the expense of the establishment owners, and there is nothing that can be done for them,” he added.

Mr Afif’s comments came days after controversy broke out on social media after some Nigerians alleged being denied visas for no tenable reasons by Seychelles. Nigeria has faced visa bans from other countries in recent months, including the United Arab Emirates, which added the West African nation to a list of 17 African countries not welcome.

Nigeria’s drug-trafficking perception spanned several decades, but it was recently amplified around the world after the country elected Bola Tinubu as president. Mr Tinubu, 71, was accused of doing drugs and money laundering in the United States in the 1990s.

He was ordered to forfeit about $460,000 by a federal judge in Chicago, after the funds were traced directly to drug dealing. He has not denied the allegations, but relentlessly avoided answering related questions until he was successfully elected president of Nigeria in February 2023.

It was unclear whether Seychelles authorities considered Mr Tinubu’s background in drug business before imposing the broad restrictions on Nigerians this week.

Mr Afif said Seychelles does not necessarily have any issues with Nigeria and Nigerians, saying the country was only concerned and needed to do something about a recent spike in criminal activities linked to Nigerians.

“We do not have a problem with Nigeria or its people though we do not tolerate such criminal activities in our country,” Mr Afif said. “There are other online scams originating from Nigeria. We have seen that these people are also coming to Seychelles and doing those scams.”

“When we checked the payments made for them to come to Seychelles, it is from only one source. This is for different people coming on different days, which shows an organised syndicate,” the vice president said, adding that some Nigerians recently swindled some institutions for up to one million pounds.

A spokesman for the Nigerian foreign ministry did not immediately return a request seeking comments, but the Seychelles media said a meeting between the country’s foreign minister Sylvestre Radegonde and the Nigerian ambassador there had been scheduled over the matter.

Or will he do it separately?

Based on this info, I think he needs to apply for a separate, unconnected visa application. Gone are the days when you can apply for PR straight from SA schools.
If he has the required experience in one of the critical skills field, he can explore that route and then apply for PR once he gets the CSV unless he wants to take another post graduate course. All the best.

Not anymore Sir. Since 2017, the policy has changed. SA Visas automatically expire when the passport expires.

We always have heated argument, raising voice at each other.

My mother inlaw on the other hand, was crying on the phone. Telling me not to mention that name (divorce) ever again.
All the family members are not in support of divorce, but the main person I'm married to seems not to care at all.

He obviously refused to stop gambling away with any money that comes to his hand.
He presently have no job and he's owning a lot.

He's addicted and he's not making effort to stop. This is the root problem in my home. Because he exhibit all the wrong behavior as a result of this addiction.
Once he have any little money, his attitude, everything changed. He becomes scary. Until he finishes everything in betting, I wouldn't be able to talk to him and he will listen.

What should I do? Where do I go that I wouldn't look like a disobedient person, dispite everyone's pleade?
I'm using all my time to cry, qurrel and grieve here. Can't find myself.
I am not financially stable to make a move without my family's support.

Keep praying for him.

We would have taken the e visa option but my husband’s passport is expiring in august and the new one won’t be out till July
We are residing in UK. Please what can we do?
The trip is last minute and important.

Not sure NIS would allow you travel with such passport please.
I've known people turned back at the airport cos their passport was less 6months or 90days (can't remember which exactly)
So please prioritize your passport renewal first. Infact, the embassy might use this as an excuse to deny your application.
