What recruitment are you referring to? The one that officially ended in 2018. Other than faceless monikers postulating that there's a second batch somewhere has there been any official communication by DPR to this effect? Don't worry these guys will keep shifting dates until it dawns on y'all that this ship has sailed a long time ago. And i maintain, if by any chance there was/is a second batch, it will most likely never be by merit. People on that second list are already savvy and will not come to this thread to gloat considering the sensitivity of the circumstances in which they were recruited.

My advice for you is to redirect this negative mindset of yours to other threads. How can you at this time be the only one who doesn't know that there exists a new list. Most of your likes have since moved on from your negativity. I for one would have been a disciple of yours but I have seen in different instances where some hopefuls with connection were specifically asked if they partook in the interview before the authorities even considered them for possible assistance. This changed my perception that indeed the process hasn't ended. We have waited for exactly 2 yrs after interviews and we are still waiting. If you do not have anything positive to add, kindly ignore this thread and allow us to wallow in our ignorance.

@Marvel and @Ferguson, you guys should shelve this your superiority game please. This is becoming embarrassing to people who look up to you guys on this platform. For those who care to believe, for a couple of days now I have been optimistic that calls will definitely come on or before mid December based on the information (very classified) I got and I still stand by my pronouncement so please brothers let's stop populating the thread with banter and continue to be our brothers' keeper that you guys are known for.

@Marvel please kindly put a stop your back and forth banter with @anonymous and co as some persons on this platform hold you in high esteem. Actions like this may make hopefuls lose confidence in whatever you say here even though you say you are playing with their emotions.

I try as much as I can not to call out hopefuls when making my points but I think Ferguson deserves to be called out. @Fergie mentioned that when information contradicts itself, then the informant is termed a liar. I beg to refer you to posts you made earlier this year mentioning dates like end of January 2019, March 2019 and July 2019 as expected call/resumption dates. Do all these contradictory dates make you a liar? I guess no. We all have made predictions based on infos we got but since we are not in control of DPR's modus operandi, our predictions didn't see the light of the day. Still I knew I wasn't lieing because I got my information primarily from top sources. I am still reiterating that by mid December 2019, I shall be among the successful ones to be called and by the grace of God I will still testify to His glory.

Special thanks to our amiable Marvel, Xtruzz and Ferguson for your inputs. I still stand by my pronouncement a couple of days ago that by mid December I shall be amongst those called. Good night all

On or before the 31st of October 2019, the DPR will be called upon to defend their budget proposal for 2020. If there is no significant increase from the last year's estimates, it seriously calls for concern. However, if there is a slight increase in the figures, we should critically seek to note the reasons why it is so and if it relates to the welfare of the purported second batch.

When Marvel was dishing out information to us on a daily basis and all of a sudden told us that he got reliably informed that there was no 2nd batch, it was your "Mr/Ms Anonymous" that made a long statement and called him and Xtruzz all sorts of name. It is only natural that whenever a character changes its pattern, questions will be inevitable for that character to ascertain if it was really from its source. This is just what I did.

Do not be a hypocrite my dear. You have also denied the fact that there is no 2nd batch only to end up speaking from both sides of the mouth. We have over time relied from informants on this platform including yours truly. It is only natural for me to ask for clarity from someone who over time had been going against the 2nd batch possibility only to make a cryptic statement about its likely viability all of a sudden.

Let's be realistic here. DPR recruitment ended last year. All GT have completed their training. My elder brother got the DPR job last year and there is nothing like second batch. I advise u face the reality of things and move on. Life isnt fair u knw. Even the so called DPR job isnt gotten on merit. If u dont have a highly connected person u cant work there. Plz move on with ur lives its been over a yeat now since APl. Cheers

I like your sincerity I must confess. Not everyone will come out and admit his/her sibling got a job purely by connection. However, for the umpteenth time, I'll reiterate that a second batch exists cos I have it in good authority from a primary source.

I implore whoever had any thread of hope on this recruitment to move on, though painful, it gets easier as the time goes by. You cannot claim you don't usually insult someone just to go ahead and childishly hurl insults and call names. For your information, the lady in question is well informed and it isn't her fault that this process has lingered up to this moment. DPR will not tell the world that a second batch exists so as not to expose it to predators waiting to hijack the process. Folks are seriously analysing their chances of getting Apls in the NNPC thread, but someone close by has just resumed work even without applying for the job. My plea is that we should all exhibit maturity wherever we find ourselves. It is very painful that this process has taken this long but at the same time I have had discussions with those that matter and at every point in time, I was given the assurance that this process hasn't been concluded. A wise man say "patience is a virtue". Let us all try and exhibit this trait if truly we are hopefuls.

Monies are budgeted to cater for the welfare of new intakes and it runs into millions per head.

Just scroll about 6/7 comments upward and you'll notice that I alluded to that fact.

I have an undiluted primary info that the second batch is there but there is another fear that Tata is trading with slots of hopeful so as to get confirmed. I also stumbled onto an article where it was stated that the non implementation of the 2019 budget and non availability of Ministers could also be factors.

We are going into an election season, thus signing this Bill would have made the elections free, fair and credible. I read through comments on this thread and I marvel at the reasoning of our youths. Politics evolve with time, therefore it is pertinent for laws guiding elections and electoral practices to always be updated that is why there is the need to update at this particular time.
To make us understand where the desperation comes in, members of the Executive (sent in by PMB), Legislature and CSOs sat together to pass this amended bill at the fourth time of asking therefore, there was no justification whatsoever for PMB not to assent to this Bill.

The bill allows for electronic transmission of result from polling units to collation centres.

It approves for the arrest and prosecution of any electoral officer that announces a result that is contrary to what is electronically captured.

It eliminates the use of incident forms as a means of accreditation of voters. All voters must be captured using the card reader. This is to curb a situation where millions of voters that could not be accredited using the smart card reader are giving incident forms and allowed to vote thereby giving rise to monumental rigging in most instances.

The Bill gives INEC powers to arrest and prosecute vote buyers and sellers when they are caught in the act.

Ideally the Bill would have made the electoral process fairer to all parties involved but the handlers of the president knowing fully well that he will be shooting himself in the foot if he assents, advised him to refuse signing it against the wish of majority of Nigerians.

What she's implying is that there is little or no merit in the real sense. The list is also dominated by SHs.

I have always been optimistic about this second batch conundrum but lately, the people I talked with regarding this recruitment seem to go contrary to my optimism. Very highly placed personalities (both within and outside DPR) have been interviewed and they all say the second batch idea is a mirage. Now I just don't know whom to believe again.

Mr Tata confirmed to a close pal that it is over.
