elbangeez: the most important thing to know is the recruitment is not over, and many people will be called, trying to know when they will be called is like trying to know the second coming of jesus christ. Someone very close to the top echelon of DPR confirmed that those they employed have resumed work and that recruitment has been concluded. |

I just got information that Mr Tata has returned from his trip abroad. I guess this portends good news and hope for our APL receipt is imminent. |

herlecks: Yea. This same happening also played out before the first list was released. You will all be used and dumped again, then they vanish into thin air. Don't participate in their campaign. They might have been marked. If you have ears.. I have quietly been observing your Pull Him Down (PHd) attitude for a while now. If you aren't averse with our patriotic idea, kindly read and ignore instead of constantly instigating brethren herein with your negative vibes. |

makonko: I think they were told not to divulge any information It is very easy for one to open a new account and give information to prospective employees. Those guys are just plain wicked. We have seen insiders come here and give us few bits about how good a place DPR is to work even if they have failed to divulge the renumeration. |

Atiku is just being deceived by the confused iPad yoots, he won't win any state in 2019!
Nonsense I want to believe that your account has been cloned. Don't tell me you are now an APC apologist. |

I'd like INEC to announce to the public ASAP the total number of PVCs collected as at when they stopped issuing it to voters out of the over 3,400 votes to be contested for in the polling stations in question. This will ensure fairness and the public will know the actual number of votes for Thursday's supplementary election. |

Cluelessness is when a leader shares the returned $322m Abacha loot to "the poorest of poor" and go all the way to China with a retinue of classless politicians using tax-payers money to borrow $328m to "improve our telecom sector". |

Marvel65: Good evening Guys,
There’s nothing more to say. The only thing left is to contact the successful applicants. Like I said earlier this month, the APLs are ready. No one was contacted yesterday, I’m sure of that. If you don’t know anyone @ FCC, then have some patience.
Mr Tata is currently @ Abuja. The Graduate trainees have finished their documentation while that of the Experience hires is still ongoing. When the documentation and registration process for the first batch is 100% complete, the next batch will be called. Greetings sir, I thought you said the issues regarding the EH are still lingering. When was the issue resolved |
Politics › Re: 5 Takeaways From Saraki’s Response To Tinubu by kbrule1: 9:13am On Aug 21, 2018 |
Ekitimadman: He claimed his fight with TINUBU started when he against Muslim/Muslim ticket in 2014.
He went ahead and said "TINUBU complained that he doesn't like the style of Buhari's government".
Does that mean TINUBU called you to tell you this even when you are bitter enemy?
LOL. Only fools will accept this. All this is just to cause quarrel between Tinubu and Buhari. NEXT If you lack comprehension skills do not comment. It was clearly stated in the passage that it was recently when Tinubu was appointed the reconciliation committee chairman and during his meetings with party stakeholders (Saraki) that he complained about the governing style of Buhari. So when next you want to comment on an issue, read it thoroughly to your understanding before chipping in son. |

elbangeez: The recruitment is over for the common man, next list is for the remaining stakeholders. If you can press buttons do so as quickly as possible otherwise forget this thread and start thinking for other options. Bro you have been too negative ever since you assumed your name was "swapped". Don't be in a hurry to come to conclusions as the process of despatching appointment letters is still ongoing. This came out from the mouth of a "major player". So be positive and put your trust in God. |

Talento: Truth!!! My only problem with Dpr is that they ought to have brought all letters at the same time rather than making us look like unimportant citizens.
But i must say that it is not even easy to create a relationship, most of us here chase our colleagues, neighbours etc away because of our BAD altitude and greed, yet complain when people that values relationship benefit.
N/B : I am not supporting corruption in any way. I hate it with my life and I love justice.
80% or more merit is still feasible ( which i am also praying for because I need this Job although i am not desperate and I am also ready to accept any outcome) especially considering the fact that 80% of 400 = 320 and so far I doubt if upto 80 people have received their letters. My brother I love your optimistic stance regarding merit in this recruitment but I must add that your analysis about percentages are not verifiable. You cannot be too sure that less than 80 people have collected APLs considering the fact that nairaland constitutes a very minute percentage of expectant candidates. Even at the height of speculations on Monday when the APLs where displayed, the total number of guests and members online was not up to 100 persons. So let us just be calm and commit this process to God and be less sentimental about it and everything will work out fine... Cheers |

It is high time we refer issues relating to our recruitment unto the hand of God. I was reliably informed today that the King is in a state of confusion as the stakeholders are making it difficult for the APLs to be despatched since their interests were not adequately carried along. I don't want to sound like a prophet of doom, but let us pray for this recruitment not to be hijacked. |

Marvel64: The few successful candidates contacted to update their portals had issues such as missing documents and files belonging to other candidates found on their profile etc. They were further asked to confirm other details like name, class of degree and position applied and were told they would receive a feed back. The same week, the candidates (non-merit) that made it were contacted for confirmation and asked to provide more details.
Portals will be updated when the APLs are ready for pick up.
Factors considered during the final selection process: 1. Two or more candidates were not picked from the same LGA. The one with the highest score was considered.
2. A candidate with an average score of over 70% will be more likely to succeed.
3. If you applied for a position that isn’t related to your discipline, you will be dropped.
4. Masters degree is an advantage
5. Class of degree
6. If you have a relation working in DPR, you will be dropped unless you have a strong backing.
7. Children of retired staff will most likely considered. Only about 10% made it to the interview on merit. Does it mean that only the successful candidates (merited and unmeritted) were contacted to update their information. Also, pertaining to no7 quote, is the 10% children of retired staff or total candidates called for the interview. |
