Bubu claims he's fighting kwuruption...bros how much of our cash did you blow in London? |
MaziOmenuko:Well, as I read he was the best cadet in his course, I suspected rightly that he might be an Ex-Boy of NMS. Too many brilliant Ex-Boys have died in this fight against Boko Haram. To your question, of course officers deploy with the other ranks for battle. Officers provide leadership(by example), you can't just sit in garrison and order your troops into battle. There's no quicker way to lose the respect of your troops than displaying a lack of courage and leading from afar. When the chips are down, the best leaders are usually found in the trenches with their troops. These are the ones that command the most respect and loyalty. |
Ideally, he should not wear the uniform. He's not a career customs officer. |
God please don't let this wonderful thread die, it's been a great blessing to me and many others, I suppose. This is my first post here, but I can't even say how many hours I've spent mulling over the powerful testimonies and teachings here. It's been a wonderful education thus far. I'm hoping this hiatus is not because of the little friction in the last few posts. It doesn't matter who one thinks is in error, we are all human, and unlike God, we are ALL prone to errors. Even great men of God in the Bible had missteps. Remember, love conquers all. So, let's keep this thing going to the glory of God. Love you all. |
Why are some people so convinced that these Pastors are infallible? Abeg una dey even read the Bible una dey carry up and down? I thought most of you would have learnt from all the fake predictions they make every year, most of which don't materialize before they unleash more the next year. I'm not even saying the dude is guilty of the accusations but it won't shock me. If this lady doubled down and made these claims after the harassment and intimidation she just endured, then I expect her to go ahead and provide some proof of money transferred to her and the nude pictures. Of course, "Daddy G.O" would say he was just being charitable and offering financial help. As for the nudes, he'll offer the standard response...HACKERs from hell are at work. |
naijaking1:Wole Soyinka did not support Biafra. According to Soyinka himself, a group of Nigerian writers gathered and decided to send a representative to Biafra to try to convince their colleagues over there to drop the Biafran agenda. A northerner volunteered to go, but Soyinka objected to that, stating that it might not be safe for the northerner in Biafra. So, Soyinka chose to go. He recalled that he was being called a saboteur by some Biafran soldiers, but he was allowed to navigate his way to Enugu, where he met up with his good friend Christopher Okigbo. Of course, Okigbo was committed to the fulfillment of Biafra...Soyinka left Biafra and returned to Nigeria where he was arrested and thrown in jail. That was the extent of his involvement with Biafra, according to Soyinka. Fajuyi was killed for his involvement in the Jan 15 "Igbo" coup. The northerners were aware of his involvement and he was marked for death. I believe Ademoyega, who was also involved in the same coup details Fajuyi's involvement in his book. Ironsi's ADC Lt. Nwankwo, who witnessed and survived the ordeal wrote about it and never even suggests any nonsense of Fajuyi insisting on dying with Ironsi. Northern officers involved in the execution have said no such thing either. These are the facts, not fairy tales. Why people choose to console themselves with fallacies, I will never know. |
eflintsone:How did you manage to poll majority of Igbo in Lagos? |
Once upon a time, Buhari tried to kidnap Umar Dikko from London and smuggle him into Nigeria. For those that really want him back, it might be time to do the needful. |
Adesina has a knack for misfiring every time he opens his trap. He's absolutely tactless in his approach to defending the image and policies of his principal. In his warped mode of reasoning, Nigerians are supposed to be elated that Buhari called to check on Adesina and his family, and to thank him for blindly defending him, even in the absence of evidence, as Adesina admits he had no personal communication with Buhari for over a month. Not even a word of concern for the well-being of Nigerians, no words of encouragement and hope for the suffering and puzzled masses. Just a pointless conversation between one selfish oaf and another. |
Well, Mr. Freeze's version is making more sense than the claptrap that lady posted. |
emmycool44:. |
emmycool44:That is quite unfortunate. A lot of high risk maneuvers are undertaken in the course of dodging. I also think it's unlikely that someone pushed him, but I've also learnt not to put anything past human beings. May he rest in peace. |
emmycool44:Combachooo!!! We liked people like you in NMS, job is always there to be served so let's get the party started sooner than later! The pathetic thing is that some of the more terrifying seniors, devils in human skin, typically couldn't handle much punishment themselves. Well, I can't help but wonder how the cadet fell to his unfortunate death. I mean, people just don't walk off a balcony unless they are intoxicated, sleepwalking, pushed off etc. What sent this young man over? Was he serving job when he plunged to his death? If you do not have the answers, or you are not at liberty to elaborate, I understand. |
Maryam was such a black beauty. |
The footage you're showing are of National Guard troops that are part of the US Army. The US Marines are the equivalent of Amphibious units that you find in other armies. I believe the Nigerian Army has amphibious units. |
QuietHammer:I'm rather shocked at the way you reason. Why wouldn't the President address the nation, put an end to the unrest, and restore the people's faith in the stability of the government? He's a public servant, and the people have a right to know of his whereabouts and his ability to perform the duties for which he was elected. |
Emassive:Lol...who would stop them? Your SSS doesn't have tanks and can't withstand that level of firepower. The north is terrified of losing power like they did with the death of Yaradua, and might just be desperate enough to pull any stunt. Osinbajo is a sitting duck. |
I'm assuming the laws of the land permit the president to appoint him the CG, but I don't think it'll be proper for him to wear the Customs uniform. He's not a career customs officer, he did not rise through the ranks, and having been in uniform myself, I can assure you it won't sit well with those who earned those ranks. You can be appointed to a position, but ranks and even the right to wear a uniform is earned. However, there's no reason he should have operated for this long without a board. Being an outsider, he needs the input of the career officers more than anyone else. A one man show in such an important national agency is typical of the dysfunctional Buhari led government. |
Jammeh's army was barely 1,000 men strong, NAF needs to stop flexing and face Boko Haram. |
numericalguy:Actually, the name of the wicked employer is Engineer Wole Odunuga and his poor victim is Daniel Dabis from Plateau state. Afonja, see how wickedness just oozes out of your pores...you'll commit your heartless crimes and still be the first to accuse someone else of the very crime you committed. |
Ojukwu was kind enough to let non-Igbos in the east return to their respective homes while Igbos were being killed in other parts of Nigeria. If he detained them, you simpletons would still come here and cry that Ojukwu held them hostage. Maybe Ojukwu should have commissioned a new bombproof mathematics section at UNN so that Adeboye would complete his degree while the war was raging. Bia, Mr. Pastor you better respect yourself. |
Nice one. |
Bisjosh:He's Obasanjo's s nephew. That's how. |
kITATITA:True, I still don't know what the deal is with the Geometric project. No one seems to have an absolute answer on why it never took off. |
Onijagidijagan:Isi Okwuru! Hahaha that guy wicked oh. |
The current governor has been pushing Aba products heavily, something that never occurred to the two morons that came before him. This is the first governor with any form of initiative in Abia state history. |
OlarindeFemi:I've never EVER seen anyone associated with Biafra include Illaje in their struggle. At this rate, I'm expecting someone from Sokoto to issue a warning about being included in Biafra. |
Smooyis:Shattap dia!! How about you be careful about who you declare a man of God. Have you no reverence for God, while you quiver at the feet of your 'god of men'? |
Philistine:Well, I don't know where all these emotional nitwits emerge from to spew thrash. If Buhari wants to play ball, he has from now till 2019 to convince us. He'll get my vote and I'll campaign for him if he does right by Ndigbo. Simple. Unlike some here, I wasn't born with a PDP stamp on my forehead...all I care about is Igbo interest, and it doesn't matter who delivers it. |
Gobe! |
Totalman1:He's homophobic and gay at the same time? Da heck!! |
honeywealth75:Soyinka would deny ever making such a statement, and you can expect TB Joshua to wiggle his way out of this one...he'll tell his sheeple that he never mentioned the year the prophecy would come to pass, and they'll hail him for his ability to see so far into the future. |
