kITATITA: I remember that Okonjo Iweala took some world bank officials to Aba and even arranged meetings with the governor and nothing came out of it. Geometric Power Systems invested in electricity in Aba and the business was frustrated till GEJ left office. True, I still don't know what the deal is with the Geometric project. No one seems to have an absolute answer on why it never took off. |

The current governor has been pushing Aba products heavily, something that never occurred to the two morons that came before him. This is the first governor with any form of initiative in Abia state history. |

OlarindeFemi: I have spent about a Year on Nairaland but I rarely comment on any topic. I just decided to post a comment now because of those greedy ibos. I get pissed off anytime I read or hear them add the ND to their biafra nonsense. I believe the majority of the ND tribes share the same sentiment as the writer of this article. We do not want to have anything to do with biafra. The ibos should go and form their country in thier landlocked area. As an Ulaje man I have no connection with biafra. Na by force? The tin dey always vex mi. Greedy people. I've never EVER seen anyone associated with Biafra include Illaje in their struggle. At this rate, I'm expecting someone from Sokoto to issue a warning about being included in Biafra. |

Philistine: APC Is not dead in se,if we get d vp position in 2019 and the release of nnamdi kanu,we will vote for Buhari en-masse! Well, I don't know where all these emotional nitwits emerge from to spew thrash. If Buhari wants to play ball, he has from now till 2019 to convince us. He'll get my vote and I'll campaign for him if he does right by Ndigbo. Simple. Unlike some here, I wasn't born with a PDP stamp on my forehead...all I care about is Igbo interest, and it doesn't matter who delivers it. |

Attacks in several states by invading and murderous herdsmen (from Lord knows where in west Africa) is a national issue. Are the barely existent local governments equipped to deal with such crises? Perhaps, if the Fulani terrorists tear through Ota farm and reformat the old man's head with a few well-placed machete cuts, he might start to sing a new tune. |

Yep, Washington asked Obasanjo to identify a reliable yes-man, and the ole' compliable puppet did as told. My Lord, I'm heartbroken! I didn't know Sudak had left us. The Sudak I remember was truly a kindhearted, warm and jovial person. Always a joy to be around. Seems like yesterday we were all boy-soldiers in NMS, now I look at that last picture and realize that both Dusty(Chinedu) and Sudak have been lost to combat. I'm forced to fight back tears, as I reflect on the essence of life. RIP brother, you'll be dearly missed. |
