No ma, in this case laparoscopy and laparatomy are modalities reserved for pts who are hemodynamically unstable which I guess one was done in this case. I guess we should criticise this guy from actual facts not on hear say posted on twitter.

The doctor was out of it entirely, it is ethically wrong to operate a patient based on the clinical history, is there no ultrasound machine?or a radiologist who would have confirmed whether it was ectopic pregnancy or ruptured appendix? You just went and operated upon a patient based on suspect . Dts why she came to the hospital for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Its not the girls fault. The physician is not trained properly and should be sued for malpractise insurance. Am even going too far, A digit exam of the vagina and tenderness of the adnexa will go along way in helping. This is commmon 3rd year medical student work. . You would do a VE for a "virgin"......and I pray you come over here too to understand that ultrasound isn't as common as you think it is. You guys should quit jumping into conclusions. So quick to judge a colleague cos of some Twitter story.

Na wa Medical practice in this country is unbelievable. Why resort to surgical intervention without doin a SCAN? A simple ultrasound scan would have indicated that she was bleeding internally.

A lady came to the lab where am working about 2years ago and complained of lower abdominal pains, I asked her some questions which she lied, so I called my female colleague to collect V.Swab from her since everything she told me points to PID, so when my colleague brought out the stuffs to use there was a particular instrument " V.Speculum " that would be used to widen the V. to be able to collect the sample, when the lady saw it she started nagging that she can't allow my colleague to use it on her that she's a Virgin and that speculum can break her virginity..hmmmm we try to convince her but she didn't accept ooo, at the long run I later asked her to go downstairs for Pelvic Scan.....I can't believe the report of the scan someone claiming to be a virgin is actually having Incomplete Abortion, I was so mad I had to send her to the nearest Hospital, the point is why lying to someone u need professional help from and its so common with ladies..back to d topic RIP

Rivers we know 250 primary schools completed out of 750 planned, 1 model sec out of 7, 13,000 teachers employed, 110 health centres and two tertiary hospitals,completed etc. Lagos ikoyi - lekki link bridge, jetties, hospital etc Akwa Ibom new bi-campus state university, Airport, Stadium,6000 class room blocks for primary and secondary schools, 5 new general hospitals etc

This thread is about Enugu not chime, all i see in the thread is the great city of enugu the capital of SE nigeria and the capital of igbo nation that has been corrupted and left to decay by ineffective leadership of the likes of chime who in 8yrs as gov. Could not complete one major project, the only state in the country not paying the new minimum wage ad cannot even pay the old wage either.
Can you show me a picture of one school primary or secondary that chime built or renovated or a hospital or health centre in his 8yrs as gov.

I have been reading your comments for a while to understand if you are here to actually point out where the administration failed for the new one to improve on or to show how bitter you are. I'm getting convinced you are just bitter. Everyone knows chime failed when it comes to welfare of workers and probably job creation but Have you heard of the the efforts of the ministries of chieftaincy matters and rural development have put in to ensure security and peace in the rural areas(election of town union chairmen and traditional rulers) and not forgetting the development in form of primary health centres(my town benefited) and refurbishing of schools in different communities and also some rural electrification projects. Have you heard of the Umuode-oruku crisis which claimed lives and properties before the inception of this administration but which it has succeeded in settling. Going to healthcare you can attest to the fact that we have probably the best structure from primary to tertiary in the southeast. And you make a joke of yourself if you say the enugu-nsukka road is not a major project.
