Brent crude oil slipped on Friday to below $63 a barrel, its lowest since July 2009, on persistent concerns over a global supply glut and a sluggish demand outlook.

Brent is down roughly 9 percent this week, some 45 percent below its June peak above $115 per barrel.

Oil prices will likely come under further downward pressure, the International Energy Agency said as it cut its outlook for demand growth in 2015 and predicted that healthy non-OPEC supply gains were poised to aggravate the glut.

The agency, which coordinates the energy policies of industrialised countries, cut its outlook for global oil demand growth for 2015 by 230,000 barrels per day (bpd) to 0.9 million bpd on expectations for lower fuel consumption in Russia and other oil-exporting countries.

"It spells out the main scenarios that are in the market and said that stockpiles will be substantially bigger in the first half of 2015," said Bjarne Schieldrop, chief commodity analyst for SEB in Oslo.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), which accounts for a third of global oil output, cut its 2015 demand forecast this week to the lowest in more than a decade.

"It's following the trend lower. The market has reacted strongly to the OPEC forecast cut, and it is focussing only on the negative," said Hans van Cleef, senior energy economist at ABN Amro in Amsterdam.

He added that there was little technical support until the $50-55 level.

Brent (LCOc1) was down 54 cents at $63.14 per barrel by 0957 GMT, having hit an intraday low of $62.75.

U.S. crude (CLc1) was down 74 cents at $59.21 a barrel, after falling to a low of $58.80, also the weakest since July 2009. The contract has lost about 10 percent this week.

Top energy consumer China released data on Friday showing near-record refinery runs in November, with factory output growth weaker than expected.

High Chinese oil demand, which has remained above 10 million bpd for the past three months, could help provide a floor for prices.

Remarks by Saudi Arabia's oil minister reiterating that the kingdom will not cut output, and a surprise jump in U.S. crude and distillate inventories, have driven down prices this week.

OPEC exporters are battling for market share. Kuwait has set the official selling price for crude sales to Asian buyers for January at $3.95 a barrel below the average of Oman/Dubai quotes, a trader said, its lowest since December 2008.

I was listening to Pastor Kumuyi's message in one of their parish beside my house, he talked excessively and condemned and rejected any excuses from any Christian that still indulge in any sin whatsoever. He believes all should have been purified once and for all, without any blemish again. My question is, can really live like dis here on earth? It is believed that we re working towards perfection as true Christians, bt is it by our righteousness? or by Christ's Righteousness, grace and power that we are saved and re cleanced or will be cleanced? Someone should pls rescue and clarify this.

There is no such thing as 100% perfection, this is a FALSE DOCTRINE.

Just look at the lives of deeper livers, riddled with hypocrisy, lack of love, harshness, judgemental behaviour, pride and boasting ( we are the best ) etc.

Yes, we are to move to perfection but as far as we are in this flesh, we are still prone to error or mistakes.

Do not listen to these hypocrites , they have destroyed many lives.

Where are we now, in end time matters? Well, the 23rd September 2017 timing of the sign of Revelation 12:1-2 is fixed; it cannot change. The rapture will take place towards the end of 2017. Between now and that time, the people of God will move from fallen man (Egypt, imperfection) to immortality (Promised Land, perfection). The route from Egypt to the Promised Land is desert (tribulations). As we enter 2015, tribulations will increase.

Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index 2014 ranks countries based on a 100-point "corruption perception" scale, where zero equals a "highly corrupt" perception and 100 means the country is perceived to be very clean.

In the report, North Korea and Somalia rank equal-worst of 174 countries with a score of just eight. Denmark and New Zealand ranked least corrupt, with scores of 92 and 91, respectively.

The Corruption Perceptions Index highlights the problems that emerging economies have with public sector corruption, misappropriation of funds and bribery, said Jose Ugaz, the chair of Transparency International, in a press release. It's based on perceptions of public sector corruption, from the perspective of business people and country experts.

Transparency International says the extent of corruption within countries has an impact on their own economic growth, and there's a risk of problems being exported with trade and investment.

"The 2014 Corruption Perceptions Index shows that economic growth is undermined and efforts to stop corruption fade when leaders and high level officials abuse power to appropriate public funds for personal gain," Ugaz said in a statement.

"Corrupt officials smuggle ill-gotten assets into safe havens through offshore companies with absolute impunity.

"Countries at the bottom need to adopt radical anti-corruption measures in favour of their people. Countries at the top of the index should make sure they don't export corrupt practices to underdeveloped countries," Ugaz added.

In Sub-Saharan Africa, Botswana was the bright spot, ranking 31st. Other states in the region ranked lower – Lesotho, Namibia, and Rwanda share 55th, while other African states were farther down the list. Nigeria was at 136th, along with Russia, Lebanon, and Kyrgyzstan. The Democratic Republic of Congo came in 154th, two positions ahead of Zimbabwe, at 156th.

Ivory Coast’s spot at 115th is a big move upward from last year, when it was 136th. Legislative changes and stronger enforcement are factors attributed to its improvement.

It still beats my imagination how some believers try to justify the trinity myth. Apart from the fact it is contrary to scriptures, it just doesn't make any sense and rather than it promoting the faith it gives non believers ammunition to ridicule the faith.
