As for 2017, I did not set the date; God Himself gave us a sign to watch for. He knew that science will help us to see the sign when the time comes. The sign is an astronomical sign, which is as unchangeable as the word of God itself. If it were possible for the sign not to occur in 2017, then the time could change; but in order for the sign not to occur in 2017, God will have to adjust the universe. As I have posted in this thread, some scientists have already discovered that asteroids are to pepper the planet from 2017; is it mere coincidence? Already, the frequency of very small heavenly bodies colliding with the earth is increasing. The big ones will begin to arrive as from towards the end of 2017. Ex. 3:18 “The elders of Israel will listen to you. Then you and the elders are to go to the king of Egypt and say to him, ‘The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Let us take a three-day journey into the desert to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God.’ It would have taken the ancient Israelites three years (three prophetic days) to move from Egypt to the Promised Land, but for unbelief. It will take the people of God of today three years to move from today's Christianity to becoming exactly like Jesus Christ. Only those who become like Jesus Christ could be filled to the measure of all the fulness of God and they are the ones who will ascend to heaven. I expect a great end-time revival to commence before the end of this month; more specifically, by the Jewish Feast of Trumpets, 25th September. It will begin in Nigeria. So, if you see somebody suddenly begin to do astounding miracles, know that the 2017 date is real. |

Matthew 24 says that immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon will not give her light......then the sign of the son of man shall appear in the sky. Is this talking about the second coming or the rapture. Is the rapture not suppose to be some kinda disappearance.The second coming of Christ will occur about 3½ years after the rapture. I believe that the rapture will occur in 2017, because of the sign of Revelation 12. Between now and when the rapture happens in 2017, there will be so much trouble in the world. As soon as the rapture takes place, Satan fully takes over this world. It is then that the wrath of God will begin to come upon the world. The return of Jesus Christ will bring the wrath of God to an end; but by then, the world has been completely devastated. |

My end-time predictions is based on sure word of God: Re. 12:1 A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. Re. 12:2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. The sign of Revelation 12:1 occurs at the middle of the end-time tribulation period. Star gazers understand the sign very well; it is an astronomical sign. The woman is constellation Virgo; one of the twelve signs of the Zodiac, that is one of the 12 constellations of stars that the sun passes through in the sky each year. The only sign of the Zodiac symbolized by a woman is constellation Virgo. Revelation 12:1 says that the adoption of sons of God will occur when the sun is in Virgo, which occurs September to October each year. Secondly, the moon will also be under constellation Virgo when the Sun is in Virgo; this happens occasionally. NASA has so mastered the movement of the heavenly bodies that they created a software that accurately simulates the location of the heavenly bodies in the sky at any time in the past, present or future. The free download software is called Stellarium. Using this software, a white American Christian was able to determine that on 23rd September, 2017, Mercury, Venus and Mars will be in Leo. If it were in the night, a person gazing at the sky will see the three planets and the 9 stars of Leo above Virgo, which will appear like 12 stars. However, the four conditions of Revelation 12:1 are fulfilled during the day, when Virgo is clothed with the Sun. It is only computer simulation that makes it possible for human beings to see the sign. It also happens that Jupiter (the king planet) is in Virgo at this same time, so that Virgo is pregnant with Jupiter.

balaclava: I dnt knw wt other religions say but for christianity, What i learnt in my Sunday school is this:That is a very good rendering of what is popularly taught in evangelical/Pentecostal churches. The teaching has a few errors and is incomplete. Number one error is 7 years of tribulation after the rapture. The rapture actually takes place in the middle of the tribulation period. In the Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25), the Bridegroom comes at midnight. As for completeness, Christians only know that Antichrist will deal with Christians that miss the rapture; they hardly talk about the wrath of God. The wrath of God includes asteroids slamming with the earth and causing sub-continents to submerge in the ocean. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword. All dates set in the past came and went.It is not really everybody that should know when the kings of heaven are born; it is usually left to the wise men who are mindful of signs formed by the location of stars and planets in the sky. If there is need in the church, the church leader should present the need to the church, just like to a family; those willing to contribute towards meeting the need will do so and God will bless them. Until recently, the orthodox churches (such as Catholic and Anglican) had various forms of fund raising agreed to by members. In the 1970s, when evangelical and Pentecostal Christianity started becoming common, the new churches condemned some fund raising practices of the orthodox churches, such as Bazaar. Unfortunately, the same new churches eventually introduced tithing, seed sowing and all what not. The big problem is that the members of the new churches do not meet to agree on these fund raising techniques, like a family. Instead, the pastor picks an Old Testament passage and then begins to accuse the church members of thievery for not paying him tithe and for not sowing seeds. Even the funds gathered through all these techniques are not administered like a family matter; instead, it is the Pastor's business. |

The presence of the Holy Spirit only becomes useful if He manifests in and through the mortal body. Jn. 7:38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” The Holy Spirit resides in the soul, yet the mortal body is experiencing all kinds of problems. It is like there is a gate separating the soul from the mortal body. If the mortal body opens this gate, living water and living manna could move from the inner man to the outer man. The gate is the word of God; the only thing the Holy Spirit does is to fulfill God’s word. So, when a person believes and confesses the word, the gate opens for the Holy Spirit to release living water and living manna. For example, somebody is very sick. In order to heal this sickness, I begin to thank God for blessing me with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus (Eph 1:3). I thank Him because the spiritual blessing includes power to heal the sick. I therefore pray that, through His Holy Spirit that is in me, divine power be released into the sick person's body to kill whatever that is afflicting the body with sickness and bring healing to that body. The Holy Spirit gives living water and living manna to our mortal bodies. Any person who is in Christ has the Holy Spirit residing in the soul. The presence of the Holy Spirit only becomes useful if He manifests in and through the mortal body. Jn. 7:38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” The Holy Spirit resides in the soul, yet the mortal body is experiencing all kinds of problems. It is like there is a gate separating the soul from the mortal body. If the mortal body opens this gate, living water and living manna could move from the inner man to the outer man. The gate is the word of God; the only thing the Holy Spirit does is to fulfill God’s word. So, when a person believes and confesses the word, the gate opens for the Holy Spirit to release living water and living manna. This release causes the soul to grow up towards becoming like Jesus Christ. For example, there is this sinful habit that clings to my life. In order to get rid of this sin in my life, I begin to thank God for raising us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus (Eph 2:6). I thank Him for raising me above every sin. I therefore pray that He manifests His divine power in me through the Holy Spirit and put to death the sinful habit and move me to live holy life. This kind of prayer or faith releases the life and power of the Holy Spirit into the mortal body. The above form of prayer or faith can also be used to get rid of sickness or disease or infirmity from the human body. The prayer or faith can be used to set oneself free or to set another person free. 2Pe. 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 2Pe. 1:4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. The power of the Holy Spirit is able to meet all our needs. In order to release the power of the Holy Spirit into a given situation, we must believe and confess God’s great and precious promises. Ro. 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 2Co. 4:13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” [Psalm 116:10] With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak. |

While the Israelites were on the journey to the Promised Land, they ate spiritual food and drank spiritual drink from the rock. The rock is the Holy Spirit. That is why a person without the Holy Spirit cannot journey to the Promised Land. Jn. 4:10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” Jn. 6:33 For the bread of God is he who come down from heaven and gives life to the world.” Jn. 6:34 “Sir,” they said, “from now on give us this bread.” Jn. 6:35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. The gift of God is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives living water (spiritual drink, divine life) to the soul (the inner being). The Holy Spirit also gives divine power (spiritual food) to the soul. The human being is actually a soul (a spirit being) that dwells in an earthly or animal body. The soul is supposed to be nourished directly by God through His Holy Spirit, but the fall of man disconnected man from God. The soul of man was therefore disconnected from the source of nourishment. The soul became as good as dead; it is not able to control its animal body or to defend the animal body against the power of death. That is the origin of sin and death that plagues human beings. In Jn 4:10, Jesus Christ tells those who have the Holy Spirit of God to ask God to give them living water through the Holy Spirit. In Eph 3:16, we see Apostle Paul praying for God to give the souls of his disciples divine power through His Holy Spirit. In Eph 3:19 we see what the Promised Land is all about; it is to be filled with all the fullness of God. It is actually a promised state or condition of the human soul. Ge. 2:7 The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. God made man to be a living soul. One important characteristic of a living being is growth and development. Of course, in order to grow and develop, the living being must take in energy by feeding. Since Adam and Eve had regular communion with God (the source of nourishment for their souls), it is obvious that they regularly received nourishment for their souls. If God had continued to nourish their souls, they would have grown and developed into fullness of godliness; they would have become exactly like God, which is why they were sons of God (Luke 3:38). Ge. 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; Ge. 2:17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.” Most of the trees in the Garden of God were for feeding the body; only the two trees at the centre of the garden were for the soul. The tree of life is the Holy Spirit of God; the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was evil spirit. The souls of Adam and Eve were already feeding from the tree of life, but God warned them never to let evil spirit to feed their souls, because that would disconnect their souls from God. Ge. 3:4 “You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman. Ge. 3:5 “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Satan was intent on preventing Adam and Eve from becoming like God and he lied to them that the way to become like God was by letting him feed their souls. They allowed Satan to feed their souls by believing his word. The souls of mankind immediately became alienated from God. |

The journey to the Promised Land fully began after the Israelites passed through the Red Sea. They journeyed under cloud cover. Passing through the Red Sea symbolizes water baptism. Being under the cloud signifies having the Holy Spirit. That is the qualification of anyone who is on the journey to the Promised Land. Mk. 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Ac. 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Only people who believe the good news (or gospel) and who have made up their minds to turn away from the wicked ways of the world and follow the way of Christ are qualified to be baptized in water. Water baptism is initiation ceremony into the body of Christ. If you were baptized when you had not known the gospel of Jesus Christ or when you had not repented, you need to get to a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to learn the gospel of Jesus Christ and let him baptize you in water. A close look at the future map of the world shows that a good chunk of today's world will form the ocean bed of the future. Most of Europe will be covered by the ocean; may be because Europeans are the greatest trouble makers of today's world. Much of Middle East will also be gone. A good portion of Nigeria (including Igboland) will be covered by water. And we are talking about seven years time. Yet you go to a lot of churches today and all you here about is material prosperity. Most people in the world today are occupied with pursuit of material wealth, to build their mansions and empires. A lot of these mansions and empires, plus their owners, will be covered by ocean water in about seven years time. |
