Following are example prayers for overcoming general and specific sins: I plead the blood of Jesus Christ against sins in my life. The Lord Jesus Christ bore our sins in his body that we may die to sins and live for righteousness (1Pet 2:24). Holy Father, let every sin in my life be put to death by your Holy Spirit. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and enable me to live for righteousness. I plead the the blood of Jesus Christ against hot temper in my life. Holy Father God, put to death hot temper in my life by your Holy Spirit. The idea is that pleading the blood of Jesus enables the Holy Spirit to operate in a person. Pleading the blood of Jesus brings the presence of God. |

Job 42:6 Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.” Some people think that spiritual matters are all about reading and hearing about them; mere head knowledge. The power of spiritual matters is in experiencing them. Experience is the best teacher. If spiritual matters ended only at head knowledge, I would never be a believer, because I am a kind of person that hates wasting my time on what I cannot prove to be useful. As for the blood of Jesus, if you experience the blood of Jesus in action, you won't waste time posting things you don't know on this forum. One of my greatest experience of the power of the blood of Jesus was about two years ago. A woman was sick in my place of work and was lying on a table. The only way I knew to express my love to her in her situation was to lay my hand on her body and begin to fill the body with the blood of Jesus by word of faith. I then overcame the sickness by the blood of Jesus through word of faith. I went my way. Few weeks later, another woman in the same organization told me that she saw the woman that I prayed for testifying to a group of people how she was very sick and I prayed for her, thereafter she slept off and then woke up to see that she was perfectly healthy. With that experience, last year I was poisoned with witchcraft poison; I filled my abdominal region with the blood of Jesus through word of faith and the poison (spirit of infirmity) left me. |

He who does these things will never be shaken. Any person who desires to dwell in the presence of God must be in love with holiness and have hatred for evil. Lk. 3:38 the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God. God created Adam and his descendants to be sons of God. Lucifer didn't like it, because man had the potential to be greater than angels. Lucifer rebelled against God and immediately set out to prevent man from becoming mature sons of God. He introduced sin into man, thereby alienating man from God. What is sin? Sin is a spirit; spirit of Satan. The fruit that Eve received from the serpent was a spirit. Eve passed the spirit on to Adam. Since the spirit is contrary to the Holy Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit departed from man. Evil spirit took over man. Man was created to do good, but the evil spirit of Satan makes him/her to do evil. Even when man knows that evil is bad, the evil spirit overpowers him/her and makes her/him to do evil. Ro. 7:18 I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. Ro. 7:19 For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do — this I keep on doing. Ro. 7:20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. Ro. 7:21 So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. Only the blood of Jesus can remove the demarcation. When a man pleads the blood of Jesus to God, the demarcation is removed. The High Priest of ancient Israel demonstrated this fact by entering the Holy of Holies with blood. But it is not every man that is qualified to plead the blood of Jesus; it is only those who desire holiness and who have been baptized into Jesus Christ (water baptism). Just as man deliberately accepted the spirit of evil (Satan), man must also deliberately decide to accept the spirit of holiness. Mk. 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Ac. 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. If you hate the spirit of Satan and all the evil it has been making you to commit, continually go to God in prayer and plead the blood of Jesus and confess the redemption that Jesus Christ brought to us through his shed blood. Ro. 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, Ro. 8:2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. Ask God to drive away evil spirit (sin) from your life by filling you with His Holy Spirit. Ask God to deliver you from every sinful habit by His Holy Spirit. Ask God to deliver you from the power of death (sicknesses, diseases, calamities) by His Holy Spirit. In the same way, you can deliver other people. In fact, there is nothing now stopping you from manifesting as a son of God. Now is the time to finally overcome Satan and all his antics. Satan will no longer prevent us from being mature sons of God. |

"All believers" are not going to make the rapture. Jesus Christ is an example for those who will make the rapture. Jn. 20:21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” All those who could please Jesus Christ the way he pleased the Father will ascend to heaven the very same way that Jesus Christ ascended to heaven. Jesus Christ did not ascend to heaven until he died in the flesh; in the same way, only those who are able to become completely dead to the flesh (sin) can ascend to heaven. He. 13:10 We have an altar from which those who minister at the tabernacle have no right to eat. He. 13:11 The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp. He. 13:12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. He. 13:13 Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. He. 13:14 For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come. The desires of the flesh must be burned here in the world, in order to make the rapture. There is a thread opened by I think Highyo on this issue. One helpful information in that thread is about the way the human reproductive system works. If the reproductive system sees that the rate of sexual activity is high, it increases the rate of semen production. Once semen accumulates, the brain begins to receive the urge to carry out sexual activity. This leads to masturbation. And masturbation in turns prompts the body to produce semen. So, the cycle continues. The way out then is to use your will power to interrupt the cycle. When the urge to masturbate comes, remember that masturbating will only feed the beast. Resist it. It will seem difficult initially, but once the body detects reduced sexual activity, it slows the rate of semen production and sexual urge will in turn reduce. This is according to biblical teaching that says narrow is the way...; jesus also said it would be easier for the camel to pass through the eye of the needle than for the rich to make haeven; also lots of people use ear-rings, lipsticks, trousers etc & according to christian fundamentalist teachings they are all hell-bound. If you study the NT well enough and without the bias of the false doctrines of gentiles, you will realize that Jesus Christ before resurrection is different from Jesus Christ after resurrection. Jesus did not go about doing miracles until the Holy Spirit came upon him after baptism in the River Jordan. When the rich young ruler called Jesus "good teacher", he rejected the idea of somebody calling him good and said that only God is good. Before his death and resurrection, Jesus did not know the timing of his second coming; but as he was about to ascend to heaven, he told his disciples that it was not for them to know. He later showed John the sign of Revelation 12, an astronomical sign that pinpoints the time of the end. Jesus Christ started in the world as a new man (an Adam). Because he pleased God, contrary to the first Adam, God glorified him by filling him with all the fulness of godliness. The good news or gospel is that any human being today who follows Jesus Christ and pleases God like Jesus Christ will also be glorified like Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, gentiles have corrupted the gospel. They now teach that once you ask Jesus to come into your heart, you are already a candidate to be filled with all the fulness of godliness, whether you live a life that pleases God or not. |

They create idols of her, call her the Queen of Heaven, ascribe all sorts of miracles to her statues and bow down to her in worship. As someone who was raised in the Catholic Church and trained by Jesuits, I can testify that this 100% true. But Pope Francis this past weekend took Mary worship, a sin, to staggering new heights. Francis, speaking to mark the occasion of the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows in Casa Santa Marta, said the following: “And this is our hope. We are not orphans, we have Mothers: Mother Mary. But the Church is Mother and the Mother Church is anointed when it takes the same path of Jesus and Mary: the path of obedience, the path of suffering, and when she has that attitude of continually learning the path of the Lord. These two women – Mary and the Church – carry on the hope that is Christ, they give us Christ, they bring forth Christ in us. Without Mary, there would be no Jesus Christ; without the Church, we cannot go forward“. Jesus has been demoted to third place behind ‘mother’ Mary and the ‘Holy Mother Church’, the Roman Catholic Church. The bible says, however that the “blessed hope” of the Christian is “the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” Scripture never mentions Mary one time as being the hope of anyone or anything. But if you’re a Catholic Francis says that “ today we can go forward with a hope: the hope that our Mother Mary, steadfast at the Cross, and our Holy Mother, the hierarchical Church, give us.“ The position and title that Pope Francis has bestowed on Mary is, by his own words, equal or greater than that of the 2nd part of the Trinity, Jesus Christ. And though he has yet to use the words, he has effectually already placed her status firmly at the Godhead level. Interesting thing, in the book of Revelation and speaking of the Roman Catholic Church, the apostle John writes this about that ‘holy mother church': “And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
