I have never for once seen where the IMF advised the government to stop its official from hiding looted funds in the west.. Because it's in their interest for these stolen money to be kept back in their vaults.. You gave Nigeria 3.5billion dollars in loan and that money disappeared (stolen) immdiately it landed, and your concern is removal of subsidy..🤔🤔 and the government of the day desperately looking for validation from international communities is swallowing everything hook line and sinker.. it's a shame.. 3 Likes |

I'm from her constituency.. and I must say well done Madam Senator.. This is a great departure from the irresponsible ones that have occupied that seat in the past. All men. None of them ever brought one trailer load of food items for the constituents. Senator Natasha did it while she was contesting as an aspirant and still doing even more while on the seat. Before you start jumping up and down, ask yourself should dollar be more than N300..🤔🤔🤔 Did you know that it is irresponsible leadership that took the dollar up.. To be very objective, the current government deserves commended for removing the multiple intermediary rates.. before now, dollar passes through at least 4 different hands before reaching the BDCs, and also regulating the activities of the BDCs.. It shows a government that is 'aware', responsive and responsible.. before now, the president might not even be 'aware' that there are multiple exchange rates.. May we never experience that kind of leadership in Nigeria ever again. |

Nigeria is the only country where government go and borrow money to come and steal.. very bizarre set of people esp the governors.. All of these are largely caused by lack of patriotism and extreme self-centredness in leadership. Nigerian Power sector would go down as the biggest heist of the 21st Century.. The story would be told someday.. Of how people in darkness in the midst of hardship are being estimatedly billed N15k - N50k/month depending on the size of the house.. Of how some people deliberately frustrate the provision of meters because they make a kill from estimated billings.. Of how the distribution and generating companies were shared for cronies in and out of government. And still the people and industries remain in darkness ten years after. Of how Nigerians enjoy more hours without power in a day than with power.. Of how the power sectors became a cesspool of corruption across 5 different governments.. Of how Nigerians are meant to cough out hundreds of thousands just to obtain a meter for their house.. but the meter belongs to the electricity companies.. if you really check am.. na hustling mode everybody dey for this country.. Nobody really get the progress of this country for mind like that.. both the so-called activists and the people in government... Everyone just comes in, violates this innocent nation and leaves the rest for the next person.. No sense of patriotism in any of us at all.. If Nigerians can love and be patriotic to Nigeria the way they love their tribe and religion, we would be better than this as a people. You don't violate a country you love this way. Bashir didn't say anything new tho.. Most governors especially Northern governors spend 90% of their time in Abuja.. This is where you need the State Assemblies of those states to show some responsibility.. They should make a law to compel the governors to spend at least 15 out of 20 working days in a month in his home state, except when he's on vacation which would be communicated to the State Assembly and power transfered to the Deputy, who must also follow the same law. As it stands, governors are like emperors, they do as they wish.. I know a governor that can be out of his state for three months and only visits his state to sign contracts and return to Abuja.. All Northern Governors have their families in Abuja.. Go and verify. 4 Likes |

speculators took charge when the government stopped supporting the Naira after the announced merging of the currency.. that's why it was rising almost on a daily basis.. Now that they have resumed the support... it would moderate definitely.. However the government must be commended for removing the multiple rates..
