Ok first.. In Islam, you can pray to God in any language you understand.. the Arabic language only serves as a guide.. you need the guidance so as not to stray from the path. God understands all languages. The quran and most Islamic teaching were deliberately kept in Arabic form all over the world so as not to lose the essential meanings in translation. The Bible suffered that fate a great deal. Then.. in the final analysis, it won't be about the religion you profess but about being a good human.. cos the last time I checked, there are over 4000 religions in the world with the main ones upto 10.. Some of the best of humans I have ever come across or read about are not even Muslims or Christians but Buddhists.. these guys don't even believe in hereafter but they would hardly hurt or kill a fellow human.. if Nigeria were to be a 'normal' country where there is a proper rule of law, many of those who served in the last administration starting from the President should be docked by now answering some serious economic crimes.. esp the so-called criminal Ways and Means. But it won't happen here, padi padi government, tribalism and grand corruption coverup won't let that happen. The judiciary is subservient to the Executive..they didn't even understand that they are part of the government. We have a country where a sitting president can disobey court orders multiple times and nothing happens.. We are not setting enough good example to deter impunity and criminalities in government. 4 Likes |

Clearly a propaganda video.. you could see an attempt at blurring the investigator's voice and the way the so-called jihadist was describing the scenario. Also the surroundings of this video were not shown but only the confessor's.. nobody knows who was doing the questioning and where, except for the Israel flag in the background.. This is not in anyway to sympathise with terrorists but you can't overcome evil with another evil.. Israel is committing alot of atrocities in Gaza and those victims - innocent men,women and children don't even have lives anymore not to talk of a voice to relive their own stories.. no amount of propaganda videos such as this can justify that. dealslip: There are pockets of steel mills around the country.. but their total output can't meet the demand of the country. I'm not even sure they can meet up to 15% of our steel needs.. that is why some are agitating for the Ajaokuta steel mill to be sincerely attended to by the government. You have a phone and data.. for your phone to be able to access Nairaland, I believe it's a smart phone.. You have free access to all the Social Media apps.. why not sit down and think about a content you can create.. Since you seem to like talking about broke life, create an audiovisual content around it and post on apps like Tiktok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels etc, you would earn something no matter how little. Just using that for example.. or think of other things you are passionate about. And you know what, you have nothing to lose. Absolutely nothing, not even N1.
