Kw ur course content, kw some countries around Germany, kw y u r offering that course and why you decided to offer it in Germany instead of ur own country. Ur plan after the program...the interview is absolutely nothing to worry about. Just be calm n organise ur document n also get 2 application form and one anti terrorist form so dat u won't play the 'mugun' role like I did today n dat cost me 1k5h.

how do i get the anti-terrorism form?

khunlehzy: She told me they will contact me in 6 to 8 weeks but usually its earlier like 3 weeks time. That's when you will kw d status of ur application

does transfering the 8k euros to a blocked account guarantee the visa? What else can one do to increase his chance of getting the visa? Thanks.

khunlehzy: The interview is nothing to worry abt. Its a long list of question but there was non I wasn't expecting. Dy ask y I chose dre county n not anywhere else, dy ask abt my family n so on. Its just an interactive section no big deal.

after the interview how will you know you are successful and how long will it take the visa to come out after interview?

topeajis: @kelly4top how many schools dd you applied for and how many gaveu admission. Abeg

only one sch cos only few schools admit for summer so i couldn't find any other school offering the course of my choice. So i just applied to one for march!summer session and got the admission since November 29th. I am in visa process now. But i will not advise you to put all ur egg in one basket. Try apply up to at least 3 schools to be on the saver side since most sch accept international students for Winter session. I wish u success!

I have already gotten admission for summer session since last year. I am in the visa processing. I applied to only one sch that had summer session for my course of choice.

yes i applied with my Diploma certificate and Neco certificate. The sch told me they always waive English proficiency for students applying from countries where English is their medium of instruction/official language.

Good move. Now your mind will be settled cos the documents will reach before the deadline and besides u can even track it online and knows when it reaches. Sharp move!

Johnnyemy: House please help, I received notification for admission into MSc University of Goettingen in germany today, what is the possibility of obtaining a student visa with NECO certificate because my waec lacks credit in English. Do they place much emphasis on WAEC certificate? please somebody should help.

Yes they accept NECO. I dont have waec but only NECO. If you check their checklist u will see ''originals of certificate of proof of completing/leaving secondary sch or WAEC. So NECO is also proof of leaving secondary sch. But I will reccommend u submit both ur waec and neco since u have all ur grades in NECO. Except ur waec grades are too bad then forget it make e no go spoil show for u.

khunlehzy: I couldn't find such information on the checklist too. But I av gotten the npc birth certificate n also age declearation to be on the safer side.

You have acted well. Cos most people I saw submiting visa application were all using NPC plus affidavit including the hospital if they have it available. It was under their schengen checklist for visit/tourist visa. Under student it was not stipulated but that's what they value than all these certificates they know one can forge. So u have don the right thing to be on the saver side. Go with the NPC and age declaration plus hospital if u have it but optional.

go for UPS base on affordability. They all deliver under 3 working days. I am not for Masters. I am for first degree in Engineering. A 3 years program. I have gone to the Embassy to open block acount so am expecting reply form Deutsch bank soon. Pls act fast so that u will meet deadline.

i will advise u to send the documents via UPS. They are very fast and will deliver it within 3 days. Others like DHL and Fedex are fast too but UPS is more affordable. UPS cost me 8k then. Dont have idea of the price now.
Yes you can send photocopy of your transcripts only if the photocopy is certified/stamp by ur institution and re-enveloped and sealed with the University stamp accross their official envelope.

flange: Oboi Tope u r right no time and demaeji and others who want to use nipost they r on strike so its better u use Fedex or Dhl to meet up d deadline Jan 15th is very close

I am surprise some people can afford paying uni-assist fee of 100 euro and wants to risk the deadline b posting their documents with Nigeria post office not minding that any documents received by uni-assist after the deadline will not be processed and ur application fee is non refundable.

Pls forget about Nipost and look for the nearest courier to u.

According to their checklist for student visa on their website, you must submit birth certificate issued by NPC - national population commission together with affidafit of age declaration. So ensure u submit their exact requirement to be on the save side.

Pls remember to update us about the interview questions and experience so that we preparing for interview will learn.

Even Student visa as well.

You must use a reputable Insurance company. A friend was refused because
of the insurance company he used. I will advice you guys to always use
Hygiea insurance... www.insurvisa.com is their website. Check the price
there and visit their office for payment.

Make sure u fill the form before printing.the embassy will certify the form n send it to the bank.the whole process takes 3 weeks at most and once the account is opened, a confirmation email will be sent to your email which will contain ur bank details.at dis point u can make ur deposit

Thank you cos I have finally gone to the Embassy for account opening and I hope the Embassy won't send the forms with post office oh cos they are on strike in Lagos. Or do they use courrier?

up till now I have not received my admission letter. The same thing applies to all that came to open blocked account. Non have received their admission letter. The Embassy asked for the original admission letter but we told them we have not received it. They said ok and accepted the soft copy we printed out which the school emailed us. So i beleive they will still verify the printed letter cos it has all d school contacts.

The second time I went after the Embassy called me, the visa Officer insist i must sign it in his presence so i did. So dont sign it. Wait till he watch u sign it in his presence. Oyibo too strict for policy. Have u gotten admission cos from ur post it seems u are still waiting for admission letter.

pls does any one knows how long it can take before the German bank open the account after submition submission to the Embassy? Also from the date of appointment till when visa comes out will be like how long too?

chaiii I never see Embassy wey dey delay like CDHC. If a whole U:S Embassy can issue visa under 48 hours I wonder why the visa to heaven will take 4-6 months to process by CDHC. Guys i dey vex.... I dey vexxxxxxxxx.

The Embassy latter contacted me today to come and sign the acount opening form and apologies to me for the previous miss-up and inconveniences. Those German Embassy guys are really very friendly as I have heard.

topeajis: Why not try mail the embassy it self. Cos the attendant might be wicked.

when we complained to the attendant, she call the main person inside and she replied that we can all go that she is thru with us and that not signing the account opening form does not matter. What do you think?

i just submitted the account opening form at the German embassy today but they accepted the form from me without signing. They asked why did i not sign i said because they said i should sign it in their presence. Ok bring the form make i sign now them say no need that it does not matter. So guys what do u think?

@ all, my small cousin said he did not find his luggage with Ethiopian airline when he got to Toronto. Am sure they did not load it when they were on transit in Adiss-ababa and the most annoying thing is that the guy did not tell us when he called us that he has arrived Perason airport toronto 2 days ago. He just called us now and he is alraedy in Memorial University in St.John's city, newfoundland which is 3 hours flight from Tonronto. I tire for the guy oh. 1992 no be small pikin na. Even though he does not have travel experience.

I told you guys that cdhc will dish out trv today being last day of the yr as new yr gift to awaitees and alot of people who beleived said amen and so be it today. For those who said amen and still waiting I have the feelling that CDHC is busy today producing ur trv and ur status will change by 2nd January to welcome u into 2013. For those who are waiting for medical further instruction hope u are getting ready cos early January your faith will make u whole. Those who has not said amen to receive trv or medical instr it is not to late to say it. Those who has said amen and yet to receive, no amen is too much. Amen means ... Let it be so or so be it.
