Politics / Re: Drivers Driving On One-Way Arrested By Ambode's Convoy by kemifemi: 12:34pm On Oct 30, 2015
I work in A papa and i must say that its not easy commuting to n from work everyday. the traffic situation is chaotic to say the least.

Tankers and trailers have taken over the expressway. in fact that road have become their home. they pee,poo and bath on that road.

taking one way is very risky. but then, how do we get to work? most times getting out of festac Na war.

I had a meeting around kiri kiri yesterday. I was stuck between mile 2 oke and Otto woff for over 1 hour. my meeting was to start at 8:30 and there I was still on the same spot at 8:20. I had no choice. I told my driver to turn back to mile 2 and we drove one way to sunrise n I arrived my destination in less than 20 mins.

they should control those drivers and stop them from blocking the road a beg.
Most people working in tin can n apapa will take a bus to coconut n then bike to their offices.
so they should clear the expressway before arresting anyone as that's the only solution to the wahala.

Boosting your sperm count and mobility... Get enough guava leaves, squize out the juice and drink continously, like 3times a week. 2ndly, get like 3 to 4 onion bulbs, slice and boil it, squize out the juice and mix with natural honey and drink. 3. Get root of ogbolo, slice in a clean bottle, say 5litre, add water and leave for 3days to ferment. Take it often. No dosage. You will testify in Jesus' name.[/quote

please do we boil the guava leaves? and do you know where I can get natural honey]

God is indeed wonderful. I read all posts on this thread but i do not comment. I have been TTC for 3 years. And i must confess that its not been easy.
My husband is a wonderful man, very supportive and a crazy lover of God. He avoided sexual sin like a plague. All through our dating/courting period, we never had sex. I was his first and only lover.
So you can imagine the heartbreak when we discovered he had low sperm count.
He was heart broken and wondered why God would allow that to happen to someone that loves God.
We are still trying to improve the count. The man don tire. But i have been encouraging him. Sometimes, it seems like the world is crashing down on you.
It really hurts

Good evening dr,
Thank you for taking time out to attend to our questions. God bless you.
i am so sad right now. My husband has been battling oligospermia since we got married. We've been married for 3 years and started TTC after 1 year.
I thought i was the one with the problem cos i was seeing a gynae at that time.
Mid last year, d gynae asked my DH to run MCS/SFA test, which we did. The test result broke my heart. There was no trace of infection but d count was very low.
We have used manix, addyzoa and now hes on alarsin fortege.
He did another test today and the result is:
Motility 5%
%active progressive nil
%sluggish progressive 5%
%immobile 95%
Sperm motility index 5
Sperm count 700,000 cells >39.0 x 10^6/ml

Sperm morphology
%normal cells 60%
%Abnormal cells 40% <10% abnormal forms
WBC Count 0-2

Please help interprete this result. He's so sad right now.
I will appreciate if someone can help me please. Thanks

I went to bed angry last night because of this, still woke up angry.

Nigeria has been raped by this politicians. If you know the level of fraud and corruption in NPA,NIMASA eh u will cry.
I just pray GMB will live up to expectation.

We need leaders and people who have the fear of God. Even the devil will be amazed at the level of 'thievery' going on in this country.

Oghene Egboh is from Urhobo and I voted in Festac. Most Festac (Igbos) people didn't know him and his supporters were Yoruba (and they campaigned for him till that day). His opponent didn't get that kind of support from anyone.

I wouldn't call this Igbo clout just yet. Igbo clout just failed GEJ. Compare the massive turnout Buhari got in his base to the meagre turnout GET got in what he thought was his power base. GEJ's power lies in Delta (where for example Asaba, Uwvie and Ika boys were willing to rig for him for free ; D )

That's true my sister. I voted ogene egoh and am yoruba. That olukolu guy that contested on apc platform no dey try abeg. I even think it will bring about healthy competition and APC will have to be on their toes.
Health / Re: She Has Fibroid, Can She Attempt A Vaginal Delivery? by kemifemi: 1:27pm On Mar 25, 2015
My sister in law lost her baby last week.
She had a big size fibroid and also gave birth vaginally. She was in labour for about 5 hours before the baby came but the baby didnt cry after she came forth.
The doctors did all they could to make her cry e.g. I Was told theres an injection they gave her but she still didnt cry.

We discovered the baby had mucus in her nose, ears and eyes.(What could cause that)?

Dont know how that came about.
After about 10 minutes, the baby pooed and peed but stopped breathing thereafter.

It was very painful. She cried her eyes out. I had advised her to do a c section but she was obstinate.

I understand she took a very huge risk.

So @ op i advise you try everything within your means to raise the money.

How much have you been able to raise? Lets see we can help out.

God will make a way for her in Jesus name.

Nigerians really need iron hand.i was at apapa yesterday.

Come and see how orderly people conducted themselves! I was like eh eh, so people can be well behaved like this.
From kofo abayomi in apapa, down to airways, marine beach, boundary, oto woff was free flow.

The soldiers aint smiling o.

One bus driver that refused to stay on one lane but tried creating another one, got his behind whipped.

Abeg, the soldiers should remain after the election ( tall dream if you ask me)

Got to the office in good time...

I commended one of them, he playfully told me that they were on a no nonsense mission and he told me to watch out.

If ginger or garlic has significant negative effect on TTC, I wonder how the chinese whose diets are spiced with garlic, are able to reproduce exponentially.

Detoxifying can actually ensure regular menstruation.

Exercise is good, whether elliptical bike or treadmill. To the contrary on what your friend said, exercise allows increased blood flow to endometrium.

Manix is a good sem*n/sperm booster. It's contains some dietary nutrients that boost sperm production. But there's another dietary nutrients that works better than manix. Its sperm boosting property is second to noone!

Which other dietary nutrient are u talking about?

Hi Dr,
Thanks for always taking time out of your busy schedule to attend to us. God bless and prosper you.

Does ginger or garlic have a negative effect on someone TTC?
Does detoxifying increase a woman's chances of Conception?
I just bought an elliptical bike. My friend says its not good for a woman that is TTC to exercise? How true is that please.
Lastly, what drugs can be taken to boost sperm count? Someone suggested manix? What do you think?

Thanks much

. Thank you my brother. I work in apapa and can confirm this. That road is in a terrible state. The tankers and trailer carrying containers plying that route in a day is countless. I once had a near death experience between westminister and warehouse. A trailer laden with 2 containers fell into a ditch and swerved towards the car I was in. It was the grace of God that saved us that day o.If you don't ply that route, you won't understand the pain commuters go through each day. Wharf road, creek road, and liverpool is in very bad shape. NPA's revenue for march and april from the 2 ports is whooping 63b naira and the FG has not deemed it fit to fix that road. @ op, please when will they complete the trailer park between liverpool and 1st gate cos I don't understand why its taking forever.

My only annoyance is total lack of power supply in Satellite Town, Lagos. Ever since I moved to this area 4yrs ago, there has been perennial power problem till date. Even when others are celebrating 20hrs/24hrs power supply in some quarters, Satellite town can not boast of 1hr power supply in a day. Worstill, you have to stay in darkness from Monday to Sunday. It is so pathetic here in Satellite Town. And it appears there is no end in sight to this malady.

1. What do you do when your interview was scheduled for 11 a.m. You arrived at the place at 10:10 a.m and the interview is yet to start as at 12:30 p.m.
Meanwhile you just managed to sneak out of the office and your boss needed your attention as a matter of urgency.
2. I was at an interview 3 months ago. I noticed the company's employees were not looking too good in terms of appearance, physically. Took my time to study the environment. The ambience was zero. They looked stressed and over worked unlike my present office. Not even one of them smiled throughout the time I was there.
I didn't follow some of those things d op put up o. I asked the HR some questions which made me know that the place was a no no for me. Work hours. 8 to 6, no lunch, no staff bus, am expected to work saturdays n sundays. Infact I made up my mind that very day.
They invited me for a second interview which I didn't attend.

These signs are much common with OVULATION/MENSTRUATION and also with PREGNANCY afta some weeks POST-CONCEPTION...so only test can confirm it best!

I was asked to do a scan last week. The result of the scan is ok. No PID,no fibroid, no cyst, uterus is normal, ovaries are normal et al.
The gynae said the blood clots I saw on the toilet paper might be MP. The scan also showed that my uterus is empty.
He said I should try to be intimate for the next 2 weeks n he gave me another appointment for next week tuesday.
Am really eager to fall pregnant.
Have been on folic acid(naturesmart multibalance pregnancy care) n trevor supplement. I will like to know what supplements I can take to increase my chances.
A friend suggested vit E for husby n I.
Kindly advise .

Thanks Dr, will keep you posted.

Hi doc,
I have been TTC for over a year. Last week, I saw 2 drops of blood on d toilet paper after cleaning up. I wasn't bothered , just felt its one of those things.
But I got worried this afternoon. I peed and cleaned up and I saw blood again on the tissue. This time it wasn't small drops o. But it looked pinkish.
Though it wasn't much.
My last MP was 7th - 12th of august. My cycle is irregular. Have not menstruated this month.
Can it be pregnancy? Am really worried.

Family / Re: Letter From The Dead: Abused Wife's Note To Hubby Before Her Death by kemifemi: 5:35pm On Jun 21, 2013
debrief08: Same old same old hypocrisy.
Off course now she is dead we can curse out the man.
Had she chosen to leave earlier we would have abused her and tagged her a divorcee, a failure at marriage, a woman who can't "keep" her home.
We would have told her to be more tolerant, asked her what she was doing wrong, told her to dress better, told her to "stay for the kids" same kids who are now scared of marriage.
Spare me the curses, when a woman dies abused we pity her and curse the man, when she walks and chooses to live instead we curse her out.
Have fun, support her now she is dead, enjoy "cursing' him out as if it would help.
Am sure some would have even said Cancer was her "punishment" for leaving him eventually, had she lived.
Please spare yourselves the hypocrisy, we can only "understand" because she is dead.
If she was alive, and came here 90 percent would have told her to stay, it would have broken into a war of curses to those who ask her to put her life first.

As I read this piece, I remember my very good friend whose husband told point blank that he wants her DEAD so he could marry another woman. I was there. This one no be dem say dem say.
The man throws anything within his reach whenever he's angry.
Many women are physically, verbally, sexually, emotional abused but choose to stay with the man cos of the children. Most of the beautiful married women u see around are not enjoying their marriage. They hide behind the brazilian hair, mascara, mary kay powder , posh cars but when u look deep into their eyes, u'll notice d pain, anguish they r going through.
Even her 2 year old child runs away from daddy when he comes back from work. That's how bad he maltreats his wife
.
When I could no longer withstand the abuses, I had to stop visiting her so I won't be seen as meddling in their affairs.
