Politics / Re: People Think That Tinubu 'Rules' Lagos: Why? by kemifemi: 2:54pm On Dec 31, 2012 |
Iolo: A man whose tax consultancy firm gets a handy 15% commission on all Lagos IGR. His construction company Hi-Tech has handled a lot of projects in the state at exorbitant prices. He also has vested interests in the Lekki Concession Company in charge of tolls and construction on the Lekki-Epe road. He's cornered a juicy piece of land belonging to a Local Government Council and used it to his benefit. True! Alpha Beta consulting is owned by Tinubu. |

Politics / Re: Pipeline Explodes At Ijeododo, Lagos by kemifemi: 10:29pm On Dec 18, 2012 |
fm7070: this is the second time that there will be pipeline explosion in this area. Residents of 7th avenue in festac have made several reports to the police station in festac but they didn't take any action. Three months ago, they vandalised the pipeline, the residents were tired of the illegal activities of vandals but the police will collect money frm these people and encourage them to continue the vandalism. I don't even know where those tankers come from sef.If the police had lived up to their responsibilities, we wouldn't be talking about this. |

Jarus: Yes, a chartered accountant's salary varies from sector to sector. It also depends on your experience and what you negotiated. I once worked in a place where I earned more than my colleagues in the same unit. Maritime pays well too, telecoms servicing companies( depending on your job function). My friend has OND and earns over 130k monthly while his colleague with the same qualification earns a little over 40k though my friend has more years of experience. Always negotiate well and find out the industry average . 1 Like |

olu4life: to be sincere,it was the worst Experience i've ever attended. Its only first timers that will be thrilled they went. Alot of things went wrong. Please,i was shocked to hear that Michelle Williams was now a gospel artist, never knew sha?? It was worse to the extent that my big brother went back home 2hours later and my friends complaining. Had to wait till the end. Chevelle Franklin,Wale Adenuga,Deitrick,Isreal and Soweto were the only ones i felt there. Hey,dont hate me o but its my opinion You said somethings went wrong but I don't agree with you. What went wrong exactly. As for me the experience 7 was ok. Don moen also did great. |

[quote author=[CHocolaTE]] Don't you know that a woman's life cannot go on unless she is married?[/quote I beg to differ. A woman's life can go on well whether she's married or not! At poster, most men that cheat on their wives have the best wives in town. A man that will cheat will cheat even if you cook and serve him all the days of his life, Even if she's a great cook, housekeeper et al, if a man wants to cheat, he will. 1 Like |

jtroy: i live in london and it is confirmed without any doubt that this same man just bought a 53 acres of land at essex worth about £5million. i work with a couple who attends his church and i over heard them I've attended several programmes where pastor Ashimolowo ministered. I don't know the true details of what happened at HICC ( as people exaggerate a lot). He usually asks pple to sow a 24 hour seed. You sow an amount that has the number 4, it could be #240,#400,#420, any amount of money so long there's the number'4'. I've done this a couple of times and it has worked for me. If people don't get results they would not sow. Its a principle called the law of harvest, its not by force. 2 Likes |

From 22rd to 23 rd to alakija , 21 rd extension, very bad roads. I was surprised BRF banned bikes in festac. So if am going to 208, I'll trek frm 2nd gate abi. Or if am going to 112, I'll walk frm 202 to the place abi! Its really crazy. There are some few bikes around though. Buses ply the 22nd/23rd road route nd keke stops at 21 rd 1 Like |
Romance / Re: Can A Relationship Work When We Have Different Backgrounds by kemifemi: 5:13am On Nov 11, 2012 |
My cousin married a guy who had just OND.It took about 9 months for her parents to accept the guy. She's a financial analyst, has a masters in finance and works in a very good place. But she knew d dude was smart and intelligent but didn't have funds to continue his education. Thankfully, he got a Job with his OND and got promoted cos he just completed his degree. Everyman has a potential to be great if he's not the lazy type. You can help refine him. That's why some men don't joke with their wives cos they stood by them all the way. Background is not the issue, living abroad is also a flimsy excuse cos I got friends who are abroad and still married their boyfriends "who have never been out of Nigeria".What I think is, you don't love him as much as you claim, so just let him go. You see him as an option you can fall back on |

Foreign Affairs / Re: Femi Fani-Kayode Labels Obama as Anti-Christ by kemifemi: 6:54pm On Nov 04, 2012 |
Zeus I: Obama is prelude to antichrist - just setting the stage. I am not a fan of FFK but I must say that I understand the message he's trying to pass across. I want you all to look at the message and not the messenger! Events happening around d globe is taking us towards the one world govt. All the talk about UFO's , HARP have all been planned. Obama's health care scheme is mandating all American citizens to sign up and they intend using a micro chip. This chip will be on the forehead or the hand which is where the mark of the beast will be inscribed. (exactly what the bible tells us in the book of revelation). I do not expect you to believe what I just posted. Just as Noah told his people to come into the ark but they refused. If you are truly born again, you'll be able to pick a few things from his message. Be prepared and look at things with the eyes of the spirit.Don't consider the outward appearance , put emotions aside and look beyond the surface! SHALOM! |

Jobs/Vacancies / Are Expatriates Better Than Nigerians by kemifemi: 4:55pm On Nov 01, 2012 |
My friend works in a telecoms servicing company. His boss, an expatriate and supposed professional messed up a job worth millions of naira. The company lost the client that awarded d contract and he was sacked immediately. Now my question is, do we have Nigerians who are better than these people? And why do companies prefer them to us. Most times their salaries are way over ours and companies are responsible for other costs they wouldn't even bear for Nigerians. What's your take |

ndu_chucks: May I also inform LASG that the lack of maintenance of many state roads killed 1,107 people in one year? mumus And thousands of lagosians have also been sent to their graves by trailers, containers and oil tankers. Don't know why he reversed the law stopping trailers from plying the roads during the day! Guess the powers that be have called him to order cos they own most of these trailers. Govt is quick to enact laws that will make the masses suffer but will footdrag when it affects the "tall and mighty". 2 Likes |

Olhar: Well, it depends.....it's an achievement but at the same time.....even if you haven't achieved anything before marriage, most marriages bring in enough achievements for the couples......and open many opportunities I agree with you 1000%, if there's anything like that! Lolz In less than 7 months of marriage, I got a job after waiting for about one and a half year. My husband also got a new job he didn't even apply for. And its was way better than the one he left. He who finds a wife has found a good thing and obtained favour from the Lord. But I must say that I also prayed to God for several months pre and post wedding, and am glad he answered me. |
