At this period yu can be as broke as church rat especially if you do not have alternive income to cover up for this period......hold on to the job and do the farming part time till you are able to balance. The progress report of your tomatoes farm will tell if it time to resign your job or forget about farming....it logical Good luck |
Sampling depth Depth of sampling is critical because tillage and nutrient mobility in the soil can influence nutrient levels in different soil zones. Sampling depth depends on the crop, cultural practices, tillage depth and the nutrients to be analyzed. Plant roots, biological activity and nutrient levels occur mainly in the surface layers (0-25 cm) hence most of the soil samples are collected within this layer. For tree crops, samples from 30 – 50 cm can also be collected. Consult us today for a professional soil fertility test |

soil pH does play a role in nutrient availability. Should you be concerned on your farm? Be more aware than concerned. Keep the pH factor in mind when planning nutrient management programs. Also, keep historical records of soil pH in your fields. Soils tend to acidify over time, particularly when large applications of NH 4+ based fertilizers are used or there is a high proportion of legumes in the rotation. A knowledge of your soil PH is the key to a successful planting season. Soil analysis with us will go a long way in helping you to make the correct decision on: type of fertilizer to apply, Quantity of fertilizer to apply, when to apply the fertilizer and the treatment to give your farm land....contact kenfarm today |
