Please when did u apply for ur Visa? If your application isnt over 8 months, u dont have any right to say this. I fully support Bracha, Its assif you dont even know how it feels to wait for over 8 months without any communication from those nitwits... If they communicate with us occasionally now, that is different.. They just kept mute for over 8 months without saying a word.. What Bracha wrote is even small, If i have the opportunity of knowing their office, believe you me I will go there and cause a scene, cos what they are doing is blatant rubbish..Application that is suppose to be given a decision within 2 months is taking forever.. God pass them.. and punish them

Who called my name? It's been a while since I contributed here. After one year of my application pending, it was finally denied. Good news is its only based on purpose of visit and GCMS stated I graduated from the University in the USA since 2006 and never attended any more school since then until now, so they are not convinced I would be a genuine student. Sincerely I expected worst. So I intend to revamp and refire addressing their concerns. I am enjoying Nigeria a lot and my new job. That is why I have not been here sorry. But promise to be returning from time to time to give free information and help. Miss you guys. This forum taught me a lot and I am glad I was able to give back and helped a lot of people here go to Canada during my time here full time so called guru

7) pictures of myself and sponsor
state of identification (both for sponsor and myself, showing we are from the same kindred)
9)birth certificate
10) international passport of sponsor
11) receipt of tuition deposit
12) acceptance letter
13) baptism certificate from church showingy sponsor is also my god father
14) the account statement showed he paid my fees, sent me 12k cad for living expenses and showed salary he paid me while working in his company.
15) sponsor is my uncle
16) letter from my father showing he is aware

So if everybody is like you and decide not to assist peeps because you dont have ur Visa yet, how will this thread be informative. For ur Information 2 of the most knowledgeable gurus here presently i.e frankrobbn1, jnyuwa02 havnt gotten their Visas yet but when they answer questions here, you will think they work in the embassy cos of the depth of information they possess. Also if you have been reading this thread from the beginning, you will see where peeps that have gotten their visas thank Frankrobbn1 and other gurus for contributing to their success whereas they havnt gotten their own Visa yet. Even me, 3 of the peeps that I have personally guided have gotten their Visa while am still waiting for my own. Also most of the peeps that have gotten their Visa, once they enter Canada, they forget about this thread, so if someone that is very knowledgeable about this Visa application do not render help here because he or she doesn't have a Visa yet, who will now answer the questions that the newbies post here and how will this thread be more active? So Mr man I will advise if you don't have anything meaningful to say, you can just be a silent reader and do not discourage peeps that are doing a good Job here.. You can come for me tho, it wont remove anything from me.. Peace

To God alone be the Glory!!! Application that was meant to take few weeks ended up taking 8 months plus.....but God who began the good work completed it.

Application submitted - June 18th, 2018

Biometrics - June 25th, 2018
Medical request - November 20th 2018
Medicals done - November 21st 2018
Medical passed - November 28th 2018

And the waiting continued!!!

Passport Request - February 5, 2019

I would like to thank Lotusboi, sleekysoft (with whom i share a very similar story about admission, and application), Frankrobben. I'm certain I can't thank you guys enough. These were people i contacted personally, and they took up my case as if 'twas an obligation and their responsibility.

Same, they are withholding mine as well. My application has been ongoing since June 2018 and I ordered my GCMS note in November.
There isn’t much option now than to sue them after 7months since I applied for study permit.

On this, it isn't mandatory for him/her to write his/her full profile.

I wrote mine because I wanted to. I was way in my 15th week of application submission before I was told this topic/thread exists. Nairaland didn't help me with anything, God did. So saying someone should "drop your full profile" like it's compulsory is wrong. IMO.

Unfortunately guys my study permit was rejected after 24weeks and 4days. This message dropped yesterday but just saw it now, plus I had totally lost hope before now cus of the long silence. So not feeling bad as I am planning the year for another pasture. Well attached to this is my rejection letter. Any opinion, suggestion or advise would be appreciated is Canada worth trying again or just face somewhere else.

Can I just travel to Singapore and Malta for vacay, find a cheaper school in Canada then reapply against fall.

Can the help from the financial angel called scholarship, the passion explanation will it be in the sponsor letter/LOE
certainly I'll need is statement of account, is it advisable for him to pay all my tuition from his account and hope it won't show desperation (I'll show the VO the receipt) and send my accommodation and other expenses money into my personal bank account.

Ok. But please this thread is strictly for Canada Study permit, so u may likely not get a response to ur questions not even at this period where so many peeps here aint happy with what is going on with their delayed applications. So look for the thread that is related to ur questions or better still anybody here that has gone through what you are asking can give b kind enough to give u an answer. Peace.
