fairheart: If the GA has been offered, you must remain in the appointment position on the date stated, or else, the benefits will not be renewed. If it has not been offered yet, you must have been appointment by these dates to receive the benefits. It doesn't say anything about paying your first year tuition. What is important is to secure your visa and be on campus by October 1. God forbid, should there be any delay, this school may not renew the GA if you defer your admission. Okay thank you... |

Johnolukolade: To the best of my KNOWLEDGE, the school want all selected GA applicants to be on campus by either of those dates (you know which one applies to you) and should sign all appointment/employment documents before you can receive the tuition benefits. I stand to be corrected however.
If I'm right on that note, you need to tell them to make sure the GA benefits are evident on your I-20 (provided you didn't get that mail from the International Admissions Office) or better still if they won't do that, print the appointment letter that you received when you're selected and use for your interview.
Best! OK thank tou |

Predstan: You have to send everything to them. Without the HNd, you don’t qualify for Masters and without the ND, the HnD transcript is useless. You have to send both transcript to school. Some schools like University of Illinois requires that you send both evaluated transcript and the Original transcript. Wow...they wan kill me because I go HND.. |

My gurus, if a fellowship offer has a minimum cgpa required......do I compare it with my WES evaluated or my normal cgpa...to know if I meet the requirement
Another question... When sending unofficial transcripts as an HND student.....do I send both my ND and HND or only HND? |

kidUrbane: Hi @Time2win Thank you for your response. Coming from you, I’d reconsider my stance. Do you have any credible registration center you can suggest? There’s actually a lot of them and the stories I’ve heard are quite disturbing. For instance, I heard some reg centers pay with stolen credit card and I don’t want to be a victim of ignorance or be involved with things of this nature. I’d really appreciate your suggestion. Thank you. Use B.y mafit...they do TOEFL too |

sheke01: Insecured, unable to get into a top rated school, intimidated, jeopardizes my life success are all your opinions.
I won't talk about my insecurity, admission into top rated schools, intimidation, life successes with someone who opens a new moniker, jumps to romance section and starts seeking a "mature, good looking and serious lady for friendship that could lead to something meaningful, and the lady must be ambitious, good looking and less than 30 years old."
When you reveal your old moniker, or you share your successful visa interview transcript, show us your admission to a top rated school and doing a graduate degree in a top rated program, we will have that discussion.
Goodluck in the ultimate search for your soulmate.

bracelum: It depends on the school. Most of the schools are fine with WES as official transcript but some (a small number) of schools will ask for both.
Some schools can view your electronic copy directly from WES so you don't have to send them an official copy.
Just check in with each of the schools to know their process.
For your second question, I highly recommend WES. The process might be hectic but I believe it is the gold standard of evaluation. A few schools ask for evaluation from specific companies but WES is the most widely accepted. I mean course by course evaluation or d second one? |

fairheart: That should work if the schools doesn't want to see the official from your institution. You need to ask the graduate office or graduate admission coordinator to elaborate on this! Some schools only ask for official evaluation copy, while some schools will still want to see official from your institution in addition to the evaluation copy. Okay , it will work then..cos some of d school sent me a mail that they will accept from WES ...after evaluation by WES do I receive a copy of some sorts?..maybe soft copy or sometin? |

heeedreeez: In a scenario where an origianl of a document is required and u don't have an extra copy of the original. You can simply take the document to legal professionals in the law court most cases and tell them to help you notarize a photocopy of the document, They will sign and stamp with seal to show that the original has been confirmed and seen by a legal professional. Hence, it should be seen as an original copy. Okay thanks |

fairheart: Nothing will happen. It is advice your GRE score should be sent to a school you are submitting an application for admission. In case you want to send the GRE score ahead of the application, I think you'll have to remind the graduate office to check their office for the score (and give them date it was sent) by the time you file the school application. Do you understand? Yeah, I understand... I'll just need to inform them that I have sent it before the application and provide details |
