Hey guys. It's been a while. I never understood why people travel and rarely post stuff. Now wey I dey here, I know why. Lol School, work, hustle, language class, flexing. Everything go hold u at once. I don't wanna give the regular advice of "learn the language" lol so I'll say something different. Please research on your city before coming. If u plan to hustle, look for a city with over 300,000 population. Or a nearby town of such. Make sure you find out about your course, make u no dey cry. Lol Finaly, be ready to run everytime if u no wan miss bus or train. This people wan turn person to Usain Bolt by force! Lol Anyways, I wish everyone here the best as they come or those around already. Tchuss |

The PhD talk had nothing to do with it. I mentioned i want to do a PhD, I wasn't rejected. About the deadline, she would have asked u to provide a proof of extension. So the problem is your motive to study, and it's in the two questions I asked But it's okay if you don't wanna answer it. Sorry about your situation. Appeal. Good luck Fabricio07: I don't think so. I have ready a thousand transcript here and beyond to not know how to answer those questions.
Infact, she was the one that suggested the PhD after I told her that I am doing the same Chemistry in masters so as to perfect my trade and qualify to work as lecturer in that course.
Now, I am beginning to think that I got rejected because they probably think I wouldn't meet up with the enrollment deadline which is this October end. I told the VO that I have started the enrollment and was only waiting for the enrollment certificate to be sent to me... perhaps she didn't hear or take note of that.
I am going to Free University, Berlin. |

There are two questions you probably didn't answer well. Why chemistry and why Germany? Can u please tell us what your answers were and what School you're going to Fabricio07: Had my interview today TRANSCRIPT I arrived at the embassy with my umbrella and was checked it immediately at 6:45. I was the only person for students visa at that moment. A fairly old and tall man with a very calm demeanor was doing the work of the famous Mr Paulinus so I was thinking; Mr Paulinus is too nice and gentle o judging from the way he was arranging the documents of the other Schengen visa applicants. Soon, two other people joined me and he came over to us. Called out the checklist, i was easily following him because I already followed the arrangement advice here. The other guys weren't as fast, then he asked me to go get another copy of the admission letter. (I followed the advice that says you don't need the original if you didn't receive it by post.. I was wrong) It was while I was on it that they told me Paulinus traveled and that man is deputising for him. When I returned, I helped others to arrange Theirs and he checked us in. I was interviewed by the friendly, smiling lady on dreads. Infact she was the only VO on duty today and the students are not much. It was more like an informal discussion.
V.O: hand me your documents please (with a great smile and positive energy). VO: Completes the preliminary session, gives me the payment receipt for visa fee of N29,500. Fund your Fintiba and send me the confirmation to this email.
VO: Masters or Bsc? why Chemistry? Why Germany? Why not Nigeria? Why not USA or UK? Where is your school located? BSc thesis? Since you want to be a lecturer, you should hopefully do your PHD at once. Hopefully you get scholarship for that. I was just saying yes Ma, I pray so too while I smile and nod my head like agama lizard. VO: what do you know about Germany geographically, economically, politically? What position was the president occupying before he became the president? What is his political party? what is the longest River in Germany? What is the capital of Germany? All these I answered correctly, then she asked, what is the size of the river? I said I don't know. She told me..800 and something . VO: do you have any family in Germany? Me: yes, a family friend and a school mate who is also schooling in this same school I am headed to. ( Freie University Berlin, by the way)
Then she gave me a Chemistry test...3 questions which I am very sure I answered 2 correctly. VO: any questions for me? Me: No ma! VO: Ok, that will be all, we will communicate to you through the email. Me: Thank you very Ma. Have a nice day.
I pray that God will meet all of us in our points of need in this German waka.
Thanks to all the contributors on this wonderful Nairaland family. |

Thats not true. I told them I was staying back for my PhD and hope to work in the United Nations afterwards. I got my AM in 3 weeks. Let me also add that my VO Is the woman in dreads that everyone has been scared of. Krizjay: I beg you all please stop indicating any interest to stay in germany for a period more than the partcular study you are going for in the Visa Application, be it for Further Studies or anything. even when the VO tries to convince you to further ur studies, convince her/ him how your intention after ur study is to come back and get a Job or start up something. A friend was denied Visa also because he stated his intention to proceed with his PhD. NO! The Embassy expects you to finish one study, return to ur home country and not applying for further studies and scholarships. Please desist from that Trap |

What's the first name? I'm curious please. No vess lol sayodele90: Good morning guys, so finally had my interview yesterday and it went really well, i must say all that's been said about the dreaded Paulinus were true although thanks to this platform, i didn't have any problems with him. My interview was with the dreadlocks lady and I can confess that she's quite thorough but then thanks to you guys again, i was prepared for her...she even joked that I'll pay her cos i bear the same first name with her. My question now is during the whole process, she asked me to write down the email and FUND ASAP then send confirmation of payment to the mail, however what's confusing me is has the process changed cos from what I've gathered, majority prefer to get their acceptance mail before funding. Pls correct me if I'm wrong n better yet explain better to me. Thanks |

For TUM, you need to send hard copy of documents. Including uploading it online. sassy92: Happy New month everyone. In addition to the above, Summer applicants can check out TUM. Their application portal for most of their summer courses opens today. Plus you don't need to send them your docs, simply upload unto the portal. However, you'll need to get a VPD from Uniassist first. Also TUM allows online enrollment so if you get admission and cannot get AD on time, you simply enrol and can travel anytime. May God answer all of our heart desires. |

Congrats o. But I have question. Why did your visum take over two weeks to come after your AM? Did u submit an SL with passport and insurance or BA? just wondering gmode: AL: 6th May (deferred admission letter changed to new one) AD: 17th May AM: 8th August Visum: 23rd August A lot of stories but it ended in praise having struggled since 2017. 1 visa rejection, three weeks sleepless night to get AD and a long waiting of 12 weeks to get AM. I wish to acknowledge every single effort & selfless dedication any member of this noble group have rendered towards my success stories. Ich liebe sie alle. I will still encourage us not to hesitate to lift others knowing that it is by lifting that we will be lifted. AXA Marsurd is good for traveling insurance and it is cheaper. I used 92 days for three months @ #14,307.03. For booking of flight, download either sky scanner or studentuniverse from your app store. Use them to check your suitable date of departure. (use one-way) to economise your money and book at your convenience. I pray God to bless everyone else who is expecting AL,AD,BA,AM and Visa. Amen |

Nothing is certain in this life. Only God. He can never never change. He can never never change. He Can never never change, Jesus the same forever!! Anyway, your school determines what way enrolment is done. Post, proxy, in person or online. So contact them. However, if Close eye and enrol, while you can't get an appointment date, and your school doesn't allow deferment, the semester fee paid is gone o. I just say make I add that one there UrekMazino: So can someone explain more on these enrollment by online and enrollment by post? Being hearing good stuffs about them... Like if one can get enrolled through any of these means the guy is certain of DE and has no worries. Cause of friend of mine enrolled thru post and was so excited even when he didn't have AD. |

The only course related? How did you come about that? Anyway, read through part 6, there are a lot of agriculture related courses for winter especially - over 20. I think Deutschemaan or so, posted a long list including ecological and biological courses. However, if you insist it must be animal science, then you'll have to manage with the dairy science. Your cgpa is good though. Kingsley10000: I studied Animal production and livestock management
with cgpa of 3.58.
I have gotten my transcript from my school,recommendation/reference letters from my lecturers and Attestation/English language proficiency....
The only course related to my field during my search is DIARY SCIENCE in CAU KIEL University...Please how can i apply,i really need guidance
Another question i want to ask is....Is there any other school is Germany that's offering animal science related courses(Animal husbandry,Animal health,Animal production,Animal nutrition etc)apart from DIARY SCIENCE |

I know someone going to TUM. Her interview was 26th July and she got AM last week. I know another person whose own was 17 June and the alien office said they just received her documents from the embassy some days ago. Lol so what they said about your case, doesn't translate for everyone else. No be like admission. Just saying. |
