moniwheezy: Pls I want to apply for geology in Ludwig-Maximilians University (LMU) Germany. I graduated with third class and I don't know if I will be accepted with my grade Sorry but LMU is one of the most difficult schools to get into. So if it's Master's you wanted going for, just look for a bsc in related course and apply |

MopeL: .thanks for replying sir, please i was told paulinus used to ask for mail for sl submission, i dont ve any mail. Use a courier. If you go to drop it by yourself, it might be difficult - except you have an AM. if you have an AM, you print it and attach it to the documents required by the embassy. But since you don't, use a courier. |

Zaynabuthman: Hi Kene, thank you so much! This makes a lot of sense, the address on my application letter isn’t in Abuja sadly, so i geuess I have to stick to Lagos. I will book a new appointment now. Are you a student of TUM? Is there anyway I can contact you for more info? I’ll be really grateful. Sure you can send me a message. Click on my profile and click send email or send message. Something like that. I'll get the mail |

Hello Zayn, no need to panic. TUM does enrolment online. The processes are on your TUM online portal. You pay and submit any absent document in your portal and you're automatically enrolled. TUM also doesn't have a resumption deadline. Many people I know last winter resumed TUM in December/january due to same unavailability of dates. They didn't have an issue with school, in fact the school sent emails to embassy asking how they can assist (in some cases) So follow the new pattern For booking visa appointment. put your resumption date as mid December so you can get a late October or early November appointment date. AD. You have AL admission letter already so don't worry. Please enrol into TUM before September 15. Everything is online. Apply only to Abuja if that's the address on your admission letter. Cos if them bounce u, u go start afresh o. Good luck . See u in TUM Zaynabuthman: Hello house, I’m new here and a tad confused. I gained admission for a masters program at TUM and the resumption date is October 1. I applied for an appointment date and didn’t get a date, I cancelled the appointment after I was advised by other student visa applicants I met at the consulate where I went to make inquiries. I haven’t booked a new appointment because I need advice. Considering applying through the embassy in Abuja if there’s a chance of getting an earlier date. Also? Does anyone know if TUM does online enrollment or extend enrollment? Please help, I’m very confused and beginning to panic. |

GrasstoGrace: Bro, thanks for the reply, but I’m having a hard time trying to understand your reply,, it’s kinda contradicting.. Are you saying that there are tuition free courses(aka scholarship) that isn’t enlisted on DAAD.De?? Pls elucidate Tuition free courses are not scholarships. You can apply to tuition free courses with your grade but apply for bsc too cos your grade is a bit below 2.5 average German grade. It will be bit difficult getting a scholarship but you can try. But apply for normal tuition free courses. |

To be candid, you can't just change career path where applying for schools in Germany except you have a lot of work experience. Your cgpa when converted to German grade is 2.6 Which actually is a bit below the 2.5 expected on the average for an msc. I'll advice that you don't focus on a particular course (supply Management) and insist on that's what you want because you would only get heartbroken if things go wrong. Apply for another bsc. There are many tuition free courses, take advantage of it. Your age and marital status won't matter. There are two ladies in this thread who are in their 30s that started bsc afresh too. So you're not a first. Good luck and don't put all your eggs in one basket cos that's what I noticed on your message. Hens88: Hello everyone, I have been a guest on nairaland for so long, reading and observing until i stumbled on this amazing thread which finally graduated me from guest to membership I want to really appreciate the moderators and all that has and still helping out with vital information in securing the German Visa.
Congrats to All successful candidates so far! By God's special grace we will also be sharing our success stories soon.
I intend to begin my application this moment but there are a couple of information I need..
First, I am wondering if I can get admitted for MSc (Supply Chain Management) with a 2.84/5 Nigerian GPA to a good German school.
2. I have considered going for another BSc but don't know how visible this will be considering my age (37) and status (single) sex (female) Is it possible I get an admission and also a Visa? Note: Bachelor's is in Accounting and I have no prior knowledge to my intended MSc course. (Just making a change in my career path)
Would really appreciate ur advice and contributions so I know the steps to take in this journey.
Thanks in advance |

You're right. One of the requirements for scholarships is that you bring a proof that your employer will retain u when u go and come back. That's enough to tell u that u gotta come back. sassy92: This is someone I know personally and that's what he told me. He also said they're not allowed to do student jobs since they are funded by the government. But others can verify sha. |

GrasstoGrace: Good day house, pls I want to ask, is a 2.76CGPA (Covenant University) holder qualified for a DAAD scholarship It's worth the try. But 2.7 is not even up-to the average in German grade. I advice u start saving for blocked account and apply normally for tuition free courses |

Lol it's not an African thing! It's a Nigerian thing. Ghanaians and Cameroonians are tight as a G-string on a phat ass! Even in Germany the help each other. But I understand your pain, just keep doing good. Our main rewards are in heaven CruiseControl: Let me also use this opportunity to discuss about something terrible I have noticed about Africans and most black people; We are Not serious and We may never get there as a people! Ask me why?
Why do Africans and black people hate each other so much and don't like sharing information? Why do we withhold vital information from each other all in a bid to "Make it alone"? |

I don't know if anyone answered u yet but I think you should check your spam mail and even trash or deleted mails to see if u missed anything. if u didn't, rebook wirh a later date. Secondly I think there was a hitch in th way dates were given and some dates with jumped. Some people complained about it in June or so and rebooked. Are u going for bsc or msc? CruiseControl: Hi Family,
I want to ask something. I got admission to my school on may 5th. I applied for Visa on may 10th. Till now, am yet to get appointment!
Resumption date for my school is October 1st and my school has already told me that latest I need to be in school is october 31st!
Why is it that those who just applied as recent as July are getting appointment dates? Even some who applied this August?
I thought they said Germany does things by procedure?
Why jumping MAY applicants and giving AD to those who applied later like June, July, August?
Or was my application mail forgotten in SPAM FOLDER?
Am just so confused!
Am being tempted to cancel but am hoping on God still. Masters in the house please help. |

janettee: 6 pages?!!. Most samples I have seen are normally 1 or 2 pages. I haven't seen anything more than that.
I never said people who wrote more than 2 pages won't make it to Germany lol, I'm not sure why you added that. Lol just added it for good measure |

Toluwase100: Morning. Firstly, ma'am Vivianobas dropped my number on the TUM admitted students whatsapp group for over a week now, till now, the admin(if ya seeing this)never add me. Bad!!! Secondly, I feel so uneasy. I booked on Thursday morning at around 4:30am with Nov 15 as deadline. Please hope Nov 15 is still safe ooo. It's TUM. Anytime before 5th January is safe. Many students traveled on 25th December last year. TUM. So just pray. All the embassy asks for is a letter from your program coordinator that u can still resume. The coordinator is usually happy to help. So no worries |

In all, I'm booking wrong cos I have 2:2. Why are u cancelling your appointment anyhow? The site is back to the normal 1st class to 2nd class lower, category A. Just relax and go for your interview. |

felixboye1: Hello guys, Pls I have an interview tomorrow for a short stay shenghen Visa. Can I get a prepaid courier envelope tomorrow morning b4 my interview at 8:30am? If yes, where do I get and which one is the cheapest and at what rate. Your response will be appreciated pls. I think you should consider reliability than affordability. DHL is a German brand and they visit the embassy to drop and retrieve packages, at least twice a week. It's 5500 at most if your address is in a distant city. It's around 1500 if you reside in Lagos. U can get it around the embassy that morning but it's likely gonna be more expensive since its not their office. Good luck |

epurepu: Please I need a response to this: I don't fully understand what the German embassy sent. Does it mean I have to certify the application form? And does it also mean it's mandatory to have applied to 5 schools before I can certify??
Please my appointment is for Monday, I need an urgent response. Just to add to what sassy92 said, you can only certify 5 sets of documents with the embassy at once. Not more than 5 sets. A set includes transcript, bsc certificate or Waec certificate where applicable, IELTS or English proficiency letter, extra documents and the application form of the school you wish to apply to. The embassy won't certify any of ur set if you don't have an application form from a school. U can download it on the school course website. |

idrisaleo1: Good evening House! Please I would like to know which schools in Germany give Bachelors admission with only ND certificate. I got rejections in Bayreuth, Cottbus and Rhein Waal. I look forward to applying for summer admission, but I would like to be sure of schools that do not have problem with only National Diploma. Thanks a lot for any possible hints. If you can speak German, there are some schools that offer STK. Which you offer for a while, before starting a bsc |
