Thank God for your life o Village people will never succeed Dannyozs: My people join me glorify God for his goodness and mercies and saving my life, my father, the keke driver and his passenger from a serious accident, making sure no one was injured. Imagine if someone died or was seriously injured and to think I was the driver of the Mercedes. Me planning to travel out on the 1st of April, I would have been in deep trouble. Thanks so much Chriswazo: Just recently, I was discussing with my uncle that llives in the States, he gave me a beautiful advise about this your concern and I am going to share it with you. He talked about one of our brothers that was doing very well there and wants to settle down by bringing over a lady from here. The guy got entangled with one online and made plans for her, paid for her flight and processed all documents for her visit. He gave her direction on what to do if their flight touch down, surprisingly, til today he has not seen the babe. She arrived and found her way not minding the dude again. The thing is that he was warned against doing that, but I guess he was drowned in love. My uncle said, the best way is to find your person there that has the respect and virtues u are looking for, because d girl that will want to marry you if you come back might not really love you but just looking for a way to escape the next level suffering in Naija. Bro, believe it, suffering and hunger de this land and even them ladies are looking for a way to escape. This was made clear to me when my babe of how many years left me after I was unable to travel out last year, the worst was that she became despaired that my family were about reneging on the mission, she knew this because she works for us. Mehn, I thought I had true love but alas, everyone is after the gain and glamor, nobody wants to persevere or suffer for a better cause.

This is really motivational. God bless you Heybaby. heybaby12: I started in 2017 april I think I met the thread in part 3,towards the end( I made sure I read part 2 and over 300 pages for part 3) was present in the opening ceremony of part 4.
My admission testimony was in part 4,
May AM,visa testimony in Part 5,
I started this dream with 50kobo at hand. I had to share DHL space with my friend cos money no dey to send am. But favour remembered me just 7 days before my interview ,my confirmation from fintiba came the night before my interview.
Ppl said it was a slim chance for me getting the visa cos I am going for another Bsc after so long , but I went ahead and took the chane. Today it's a different story.
What am I saying here have faith, believe and keep firm to your dreams. If it can happen to me it will happen for you. I have wanted to leave Nigeria for schooling abroad since I wrote my waec in 2000 but no green light until 18 years later.
Never say never.

Thanks so much for this info. We wey de plan come back after one year and marry. We can make good use of this. God. Bless u dolpaz: Hi bro,
Pregnancy is a blessing from God. so first, accept my heartfelt congratulations. now to the real challenge. If I may get you right, both you and your wife studied the same course and would like to proceed to Germany to study together and start a new life. well, Its a good choice if you ask me but the financial implication would likely cut off your pocket when you finally find yourself here. I don´t know your age but obviously, your wife and new born baby will be on a Gesetzliche Familien krankenversicherung (Public Family Insurance). A single guy/girl below 30 years old pays an average of 90€ monthly (over 38k Naira) and this COMPULSORY in Germany. This mean as a family, you guys would likely be placed on the Public family health insurance which could cost as much as 300€ (over 120k naira) every month. So, lets assume you´re over 30, you could still get insured on Private health insurance which is very cheap Around 30€ (12k monthly) but your kid and wife would be on a public insurance. The difference between Private and Public is the fact that If you attend any clinic or hospital for treatment, you pay direct cash and the Private Insurance pays you back after submission of treatment and payment receipt, but for Public Insurance, you don´t pay any dime. Just submit your card and the rest will be sorted between the hospital and the Insurance coy.
Secondly, Its risky coming with SL. reason is because you ain´t gonna start wokring Imediately you get to Germany. So, the moment anyone offers to sponsor you, then he´s saddled with every financial responsibilty accrued to you. So if your wife comes and deliver a baby, mehn, that Guy/lady don enter one chance. He/she has to take care of the family because he has signed a Letter of Declaration of support. and If he erred, his permanent residency could be revoked. Also, as a married man, I wouldn´t advice you to use SL. Since you´ll be enjoying full benefits of the insurance and other stuffs, I´d advice you and your wife to fund with blocked account so you can settle well into the system. I know it´s not easy but trust me, you´ll understand the importance of this when your finally arrive here.
Also, If you decide to use SL alone, You´ll still have to come to DE with at least 3k. The first couple of months, You´ll pay Semester fees, House rent, Kaution, Insurance, Feeding and other valaubles. The three most important payment monthly in Germany is House rent, Insurance and Feeding. So imagine spending at least 400-450 monthly for 3 months prior to getting a job.
Secondly, Your wife can go for her interview In as much the Pregnancy is not visible. With my calculation, You´re going for winter and not summer. This mean your wife will be heavily pregnant hence, it´ll limit her chances of coming for studies cos she´ll be in her Tri-Semester and this means less/reduced stress for her usw.
So much to explain but here´s my opinion and advice.
Channel all your energy to come here first (If your body fit hold am ). By next year, your wedding will be 2 years according to you. Submit your wedding certificate with your child birth certificate during your interview. When you get to DE, work and study and ensure to make a certain threshold. Apply for family reunion and your wife will join you with your baby. If the family reunion visa is granted, your wife would be able to work 24/7 because her visa is a Family reunion visa (§ 29 AufenthG Familiennachzug) while yours is different because you´re on student residency permit (aufenthaltsgenehmigung § 16) with 120 full days or 240 Half days to work. Remember when your family is here, You´ll need a 3 bedroom flat for yourself.. A room must be set aside for each child except they are of the same sex.. You´ll have to feed them, clothes them, and do some shopping.. Bro, you´ll be spending close to 1200€ monthly. and this is an outrageous amount for a student here in DE.
I hope I´ve been able to pass some message across and you can understand me better.
Phew, I have typed so much. This post will go a long way to guide anyone who plans to come with family/pregnancy.
Wishing everyone success in their Pursuit. |

modupejay: People o. My transcript for today's interview. Let me be comical like everyone
So, I landed in Lagos on Thursday night. Stayed in integrity homes for 14k...rude reception as if we begged to stay in the hotel. Did a lot of document sorting (I have been sorting documents for over 2 weeks now cos of Uncle Paulie....I cross checked and re-read infos about my school course Germany and Berlin. It was quite overwhelming.
Sha, got to the embassy around 5:30, forgot I had printed out my appointment letter o, I sha did that. Those people wanted to take 3k for one colored print out. Ah them be scam o. Sha paid 2k. The 2k had to come out from my Visa money. I still believed I was okay as I had 30k with me. Sha, me and my uncle went to Germanys embassy area o, my mind sha told me to ask how much be visa fee now, one security man sha told me 34k. Omo, I panic. those mopo people and bro paulinus started harassing me and my uncle, oga paulie even asked them to take note of me if I come back late cos I left to go and withdraw. Sha, I got the 4k plus around 6:20 and i was still the first person apart from one girl who is prolly there for another visa reason. Sha, oga paulie sha started his usual. Calling out documents and how to arrange them, abusing me for not doing it well. sha making me panic. But he never sent me back o. The man favored me. When he now even sent another guy back, I knew it was favor cos he had corrected me more than that guy. Sha, went in and was the first to be interviewed
Questions asked Have you funded Who funded What do your parents do Where are you studying What are you studying why that course Why not Nigeria Why not USA or any other English speaking country What do you know about Germany What do you plan on doing when you are done with your masters Have I ever been to Germany or applied to any other schengen consulate When does program start
Other things: Collected money for Visa which one 30,500 las las She typed a lot Asked me to cross check something and sign
Opinion Oga Paulie is cool sha. Just takes fun in making us tensed. It's his everyday routine I was tired of standing during the interview. I feel they can put a chair in that place sha, but who am I o Security will always ask if theres anything for the boys, don't give them poo. You don't know who is watching.
For those who had interview today, I was the guy on pink and a black tie. Lightskinned brother.
It shall end in praise for me IJN.
Please don't panic o, you might naturally do but calm down, be slow when answering questions so she can type, listen to brother paulie carefully when arranging documents to avoid yabs and watch how he places your documents. Be the first to get there. So go very early. It helps. Cos when paulie starts with you on document arrangement, he won't be able to send you back Especially if you are the only student visa applicant at that moment. By the time 3 people came, I was already far with my arrangement and I had understood what he expected so there were fewer mistakes and he couldn't send me back
I believe I have gotten the Visa already. I speak in faith. Can you please say how it was arranged so others can learn before the day reach without waiting for Paulinus. Lol thanks And congrats in advance |

janettee: Just a tip for others who want to combine two Jobs. Working two 450 euro jobs will get you taxed but there's a kind of Job called kurzfristig Beschäftigung(hope I don't get banned). Basically you are allowed to work for 3 months in a year. That's approximately 70 days in a year. You won't do the job everyday though. Now combining this job with a 450 euro job won't get you taxed according to the law!!. This kind of Job let you earn more than 450 euro.
In Frankfurt you could earn up to 800 euros without getting taxed as a student, now imagine combining that with a 450 euro job without getting taxed... Please can u add the Translated version of that image you added lol Cos. Person need that 800.euros and Above o |
